The initial greeting and check in by Mary Ellen started the visit off on a high note. Then I was ushered into the pre exam room by a very capable young man, Hunter, who administered all of the pre-examination screenings. Very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable young lad! After which I was taken to Dr. Greene's examination suite. Dr. Greene performed an absolutely thorough testing of all aspects of my visual capabilities after which he gave my results in a very professional manner. I called on 09-09-2025 to…read moreschedule an appointment and the young lady said I have a 9:00 am tomorrow Wednesday the 10th. I took that appointment, went in to work and left my office around 8:30am. Get to the appointment 8:45am. They then tell me that my appointment is for the 11th which was Thursday. I asked can they go ahead and see me since I am here andI know that I did not get the appointment wrong. The Dr. said I have a 9:00, then the office staff said that the earliest I can see you tomorrow is 10:45. Well if my appointment was scheduled for Thursday at 9:00 am why then you say the earliest I can schedule you is 10:45am. I said just cancel the entire thing and walked out. They did not try and fix the problem or offer me any solution. Just a total waste of my time and they did not seem to care. I then called back to express my disatisfaction and spoke to the manager and he said that he will find out who took the call and get with them. I believe she put the appointment on the incorrect date and this is probably not the sirt time this has happend. I told the young man, for this reason you have lost a customer, he said OK. My time is valiable as well as me as a customer and it appears I meant absolutelly nothing to them and they were just going to keep it moving. NEVER GOING BACK. NOT VALUED. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO, I WOULD !!!!!!

They accommodated us despite not having an appointment, and patiently looked up our insurance info because we changed insurance providers. When we couldn't figure it out the insurance, they provided us with all the paperwork needed to just submit for reimbursement.     Zero stars if I could…read more I bought two pairs of glasses here. Absolute junk. Cheap, flimsy plastic that felt like they could snap any day. When I tried to return them, I was told the free eye exam only counts if I keep the glasses. If I returned them, I'd have to pay for the exam, which costs the same as the glasses. And don't get me started on the exam itself. So either way, I would walk away with nothing. Completely ridiculous. The promotions are a joke. The giant sign says $59 for one pair and $79 for two, but that's just not true. $59 only covers the frame, while $79 suddenly means "frame + lenses." When I asked about details, the staff got super impatient, basically acting like: "Don't ask more, just swipe your card." Now I see why: the more you dig, the more obvious it is that it's a trap. Also, they never tell you the promotion only includes the lowest quality material. I only found out after picking up the glasses and realizing how terrible they were. When I complained, the answer was like: "Well, you chose the cheapest option." Translation: pay more or accept trash. Save your money, save your time, and go literally anywhere else.

They explained things in a way she could understand and made her feel like it was sort of a game they were playing. It was nice to see that they cared how she felt instead of "do this, do that". My daughter is a rambler. She talks about anything and everything, and the staff listened to her and would converse back with her about whatever random thing she was saying. That made her happy and more comfortable, which in turn made the appointment go along smoothly! The staff explained everything to me, (in ways that someone who didn't work in that field for a living would understand). When Dr. Dobson finished the exam, she let my daughter help her put some of the equipment away (and I'm sure this equipment isn't cheap), but Dr. Dobson entertained her and was happy to do so. She too entertained my daughter's rambling, lol! I found the service to be excellent. My daughter is excited to go back next week to pick up her glasses! I would recommend The Eye Care Center to everyone I know. We will definitely be going back.

Told before exam I needed to have a…read more"refraction test" ($89 extra) and a "OCT Nerve" test ($110 extra) and a "EB Sight Sync" test ($49 extra). Was told that $68 of these tests would not be covered by my insurance. After my exam I was told that I still owe $149 out-of-pocket. Also, I was prescribed new lenses for $695. For the prior two years my insurance covered my lenses but now their new lab supposedly does not take my insurance. Was never told this prior to my exam knowing what insurance I have. Got a better quality lens for $168 out-of-pocket at Walmart Vision Center. My appointment was at 1:30. Actually saw the doctor at 2:45, and then spent another hour discussing and arguing about the charges and insurance coverage. This was a terrible experience and I will not be going back there again. Make sure you discuss all costs and have your insurance evaluated before going there! I think they push unnecessary charges also.

    To all who decide to start going to this place, please rethink…read more I started going here after some issues with my prior eye doctor back home, and I am an avid contact lens wearer for over 10 years. I purchased a 180 2 Pack of contacts 10/19/23, and was told that when it runs out in May 2024, that I was eligible for a rebate (via Office Manager) and that I just had to fill out a form to receive $200 off of my $355 order. I ordered contacts again 5/16 for the same amount, and was told that when they came in that I would get a rebate form. I went to the office after work, and I picked up my contacts and received a rebate form with a code. I was told that I was going to get walked through by one of the workers, but instead I was just told to scan the QR on the form. Furthermore, I got home and began the process, and it said that I was ineligible. I got confused, because that is not what I was told, so I called the helpline listed on the paper copy of the rebate form from the office. I spoke with customer service, and they said that I was ineligible because I did not purchase contacts within 6 months of each other. I decided to call this location at My Eye Dr., and they said that I will need to call back and speak with the manufacturer to see if I am eligible for a 6 month rebate. I called the manufacturer again to speak with a CS rep, and they said that they could not help me because this office is the only one who can tell me if I am eligible. I called My Eye Dr. again, and the office manager denied the misinformation that he relayed to me two seperate times (once in October, once in May). I am beyond frustrated, because he was very rude on the phone, and did not help me at all each time. He said that the office didn't even do 6 month supply rebates, yet he had me call the manufacturer and ask for a 6 month rebate on my contacts I ordered from My Eye Dr. THE REBATES ARE FALSE. Furthermore, every time I have ordered contacts from this office, they have told me that they will email me when they are ready. I have not ONCE received an email when they are ready. Instead, I have had to call every time after the estimated ship time (2 weeks), and they have stated that they are ready for pickup. I have asked every time I have picked them up if they have the right email on file, just to double check the emails were being sent correctly. The lady at the front has always relayed my email correctly, but has never stated why I am not receiving them. This is not the first time I have had an issue with an eyewear place, and this will be the last time I have conversations with this office. the misinformation spread about money off is not always correct, so bring out a pen and paper next time someone tells you you can get an rebate on your next order, and write down word for word to avoid any denial on their end. I left with a horrible taste in my mouth, and $355 I could've spent on contacts from a better eye wear facility.
