Great stadium with awesome views no matter where you sit! This is my wife and I was first time to the stadium we can for the inaugural season opener of the Texas Southern University football team. We bought the cheapest tickets behind the goal line and still felt very close to the action. One of the things that we loved about the stadium is the design and the architecture in general it was wonderful and spectacular. Very happy that this is the new home of the TSU tigers although I would like to see you a little bit more maroon TSU paraphernalia at least on game days around the stadium because it just looks so God awfully orange.

Hands down... Awesome experience! This was our very first soccer experience and of course to watch our very own Houston Dynamo! Walking in here with so much ease, not people pushing and shoving, foods and drinks seem a lot more affordable, tickets don't cost and arm or a leg and ultimately the ambiance is out of this world! The fanatics of 2017 made the stadium, the band was so lively, loud, and played some Latin beat faves (yes including Despacito). The stadium is outdoors and we did face the sun for most of the game but the awesome game kept us from focusing on the sun and more on the win against the Chicago fire. Also, if you are the designated driver of the group (I was with my kids) they give you a ticket and a wristband of unlimited drinks for free all because you are committed to not drink any alcohol. After the game and the 3-0 win, we stayed to meet Diesel for a photo shoot. This was definitely a sporting event to remember. We look forward to coming in here again and we have now converted into die hard Dynamo's fans for life! P.S, My kids got to meet and greet all the players in the tunnel once they came out. That made their day!

We saw U.S. Open last night and went with friends and family. We sat by corner kick area by section 102. It had a good view. We were able to see players walk and Diesel. They have slightly better food options. It was 91 degrees and seats are cooler than ordering food inside. If it's your first time visiting don't wait till 45 minute mark to get in line because they can get long. There is parking on side streets however be careful about "no parking". Sometimes they are not facing the right way. Also if building is abandoned and you block driveway they will still give a ticket. After 6 pm it's free from Monday-Saturday. Free parking at meters on Sunday. No water bottles are allowed in stadium. If you sit close to the front bring your favorite dynamo item and you might have a shot at a getting it autographed. We were hoping for a win, tough break last minute score by FC Dallas.

Go early and there's family friendly things to do with your Children on a given day sponsored by the BBVA for the dynamos. Enjoy the music near the stages set up pre-game. There's plenty of pubs to hit before entering into the stadium for pre-game or post. I was not impressed with the stadium. It's great that we could get a stadium for the dynamos. It's very small to any comparison. While the stadium has good seating for viewing anywhere you sit and covered seating in certain areas from the size of the stadium. If you're going to pay stadium prices the popcorn could at least not be stale and difficult to chew. My advice is to eat at one of the local dives. But the over all experience is great minus food. Let's go dynamo!

Why don't more people go to see the Dynamo? 90 minutes of play actuon is so much better than waiting three hours to see the Astros lose another devastating game. The amenities: obviously the stadium itself is spotless. The beer taps are so new that when they poured off the head off my beer, the drain tray overflowed because the plastic seal was still on the tap apparatus. Not a bad thing, I'll go ahead and assume my Bud Light was just as fresh. Sure, why not. The trouble with that open roof in July however is that cold beers go down a bit too easily. Leading to early onset munchies. From thence pursued the only disappointing part of Operation: "Sure, Soccer Could Be Fun": jury-rigged vegetarian tacos at Los Anaranjados. This request blew their minds. They gave me six corn tortillas with a plastic ketchup cup of diced tomatoes. Total filling volume: 'bout 2 tablespoons. Not unlike my sole sad, sad experience at In n Out Burger with a "veggie burger, Animal Style." Yeah, turns out that's a tomato slice wrapped in lettuce. Um, what? Do it, buy the Dynami tickets, get the Dynamo Livingsocial coupon, go to the work happy hour at BBVA Compass. Stop hating in soccer. This game was a blast. Oh, and the band plays the WHOLE TIME. Suck it, football halftime show.

This is a purse that was allowed in the Stadium

I was stopped because of my purse . My purse was a small crossbody no bigger than the picture posted in the bottom that was allowed I had my wallet and my phone it. I had to ask my driver to come back to get my purse. And walk around with my wallet in my hand. Once inside I saw purses twice the the size I mine. I saw people with backpacks. I was so pissed because it was not the first time I had brought that purse and was never questioned. I felt targeted in a way while other people with the same size bag of mine were allowed and when brought to there attention they said it was not the same.. really.

Great stadium to watch a game at. I was here for the Grambling State and Texas Southern game, had a great time. I would love to catch a Dynamo game here. Just a tip, it gets windy here at night.

In terms of food and drink, I was really impressed with the number of options. They have two full service food counters on either side of the arena. If you want something a little more substantial Antones Poboys and Chick-fil-a were both set up for grab and go. They also had lots of alcoholic beverage options from tall boy beers, liquor for cocktails and even a spiked fresh lemonade stand. The massive team store alone could keep you occupied for hours. With seating for more than 40,000 fans, the sheer size of the crowd was impressive. As an added bonus, the first 10,000 ticket holders received a free Carlos Correa bobblehead. This visit was part of a girls' weekend packed with fun, including an Astros game and even a bodybuilding competition. It made for a memorable mix of adventures. Food options go far beyond traditional ballpark fare like hot dogs and nachos. Fans can enjoy favorites such as Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, Pluckers, and Blue Bell Ice Cream from nearby Brenham, Texas. Parking was plentiful since it was a huge lot. The venue itself is quite big - multiple floors and wide in length. There were lots of tables with individual monitors with horse races streaming from different regions of the U.S, along with lots of TVs by the food court area. Plenty of people just watching the different races streamed on the TV happily. Betting takes place on the kiosks spread throughout the building. There's a variety of methods to bet, but easily thing to do is take a picture of the screen and have ChatGPT explain it to you lol since it's a lot of information to digest if you're a first timer. Betting is minimum $2 to start. The nachos were cheap and filling - $10 for a spread shared among two people. Plenty of cheap food available. Now for the actual racing, there was a lot of seating (albeit, they were not labeled). We actually sat in the paid, reserved seating with the TV monitors (which was quite nice, since you could see the camera following the horses racing outside on the track up close), until we were kicked out since we could show the ticket narc our tickets. We relocated to a different seating area next to it, and again after a few rounds, we were ticket-checked again and had to move. Finally, we discovered the free seating, which is at the very end on the left side of the building, with the auditorium-like seats (furthest from the fancy restaurant they have). It wasn't terrible, and we spent most of the time at the paid seating anyways. Would recommend better signage because as newbies to the horse racing venue, we didn't know any better. A lot of friend groups, families, singles, all gathered to watch the horse racing, and TBH, I got pretty into it once I started betting (rabbit hole?), so it was quite fun. There was even a hat contest that was cute to watch! I'd come back! It was a unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

I tend to forget about this venue as it is sandwiched between NRG Stadium and the Astrodome. NRG Arena is definitely old school (it was built in 1974). Because it's an older venue, it doesn't have features such as illuminated stairs (like Toyota Center). People were using their cell phone flash lights to go up and down the stairs in the dark.
