Amazing service and great crawfish. Went for happy hour and the crawfish were a great deal and amazing size. Full of flavor and comes with potato and corn. If you're in the area and are craving for crawfish and a deal, stop into BBs

It's crawfish season and they had a great deal so we waited over an hour for a table. Service was minimal but the food was great there were so many empty chairs but we still had to wait for a table.

I've been here 3 weeks in a row since crawfish season! When I moved to this area I tired the food and wasn't impressed but the crawfish this year has been good! They are still a bit high per pound $14.99 and all of the additives like corn, potatoes etc are al a Carte pricing. We are crawfish eaters so we have 3 to 4 pounds each, potatoes and eggs. The flavoring has been super consistent and sizing has progressed. We always come into a clean restaurant- and our waitresses are always super attentive. As crawfish eaters we never need much! Go give them a try. I may need to try other items to say the food is good but I would recommend the crawfish!

Neat establishment on the inside with several TVs and a bar with a New Orleans type vibe. The food was so-so. The fried crawfish were really good. The salmon, dirty rice, and Mexican corn could all use extra seasoning for better flavor and taste. They all lacked flavor. Service is a little slow.

Came here after church one day with family. We all enjoyed our food. The service could've been better, but the flavor and portions made up for it. I got the crab oil and a beverage. Both were very tasty. I love the Cajun / TexMex fusion. I highly recommend!

This is the only thing that saved you.

I'll tell you that it was a little bit disappointing getting the same kind of service in Houston that I get in San Antonio when I go to a BBS. It always seems like there's either not enough staff for the staff is always too busy in some other part of the building not being attentive to the customers. My example is that the entire section that I was sitting in most of the tables did not get service until about 10 to 15 minutes after we arrived and the training server named JadenA. Did not write down any of our order nor did she instruct her training to do so and in doing so she poured the wrong sauce on our softshell crab. It was some kind of citrus sauce rather than the BB's Tex Orleans that we love. Also, that same nine dollar single soft show crab took about 20 minutes to come out of the kitchen because we can only assume that she forgot to ring it in when we ordered it at the same time with our smoked Boudin sausage, which was amazing by the way, probably because it was purchased from another vendor who does a very good job with their sausages. Honestly had not been for the amazing crab and crawfish boil we normally order the experience, probably would've been way less than three stars, which is still pretty generous, considering the lack of service we received and continue to receive regardless of what city we're in. We were actually very excited to see how things would be in Houston, which is supposed to be the home of BBs and it turns out that nothing changed. Attached is a picture of me very happy with the actual entrée we ordered which was still damn near $100 for some crab and some crawfish that are frozen. I think that's crazy to charge the price that you do for frozen Vietnamese Crawfish. I think I'd like someone to reach out to me so we can discuss some ways to improve the situation before it gets any worse than it already is..

Mediocre, but could be worse. If the other places nearby are too busy this is an ok option, but don't make a special trip.

Ask the Community - BB's Tex-Orleans

Does your Gumbo have okra? My Cajun husband's momma didn't make hers with okra and I have to ask everywhere we go if theirs has okra. I don't put in mine but I not looking at…

Hi Diana, our gumbo does have okra in it. That's how our Maw Maw made it, and we've continued with her recipe since we opened the first BB's. Our apologies if that's not your preference. We hope to serve you soon!

How is the bread pudding?

Hi Melanie! Our bread pudding is made with Leidenheimer French bread, has no nuts or raisins, and has a meringue on top. We serve it with a YUM vanilla rum sauce. We hope you'll give it a try on your next visit!

How's the crawfish? Is it dry seasoning?

Haven't been for the bugs yet.

Does anyone know if they have Snow crab legs on the menu?

Yes we have snow crab and an amazing boil section with much more, even button mushrooms!! It's so yum and hope you'll come over soon. Much yum!

Does anyone know the opening date of Bbs cafe in Webster?

Hello Jonesia! Thank you for asking. Unfortunately, the opening date was supposed to be today BUT we are having mechanical issues and cannot open afterall. Hence why the page is now live. We are hoping to OPEN this Saturday. Please do follow us on…

I don't know what it is, but menu items like the crawfish combo taste better at the Seafood house compared to Pappadeaux. Also, service at some of the Pappadeaux restaurants is not the best. Especially the East Houston location. I worked for both Pappas Seafood House and Pappadeaux for many years, and I can confidently say, they use the same menu items. Pappadeaux just uses more spice and sells a few more Cajun options like alligator and frog legs. Now, onto the Webster location. The food is great! Of course it's over priced and they do seem greedy in their pricing. They pay their servers $2.13 an hour and make them pay the restaurant 3.5% of their total sales. So, if a server sells $2,000 worth of food they owe the restaurant $70. This was back when I worked for the company in 2018. So, I don't think the menu prices are justified, but hey, what can we do? Anyways, the food is cooked fresh. They use Japanese bread crumbs for their shrimp, sauces are made to order from scratch, and the food is made daily. They actually cook their main courses. From when I worked with the company, the sides were microwaved though. Service is good at this location. We had an issue with the green beans being too hard on two separate occasions and they offered us some new ones and gave us a slice of New York style cheese cake. The atmosphere is great and what you would want from a nice seafood house. They do get busy during prime time, so expect a wait. If you haven't tried Pappas Seafood house, I would recommend it. It's a prime spot in Houston and the food is comparable to many fine dining restaurants, just in a more casual environment. Plus they give you a side with your Entree!

I was primarily looking through yelp…read morefor a good restaurant that served Tex-Mex, and this was the first restaurant that popped up in my area with an "excellent" rating. As I write this review, this restaurant currently has a rating of 4.6 stars with 120 reviews. Before coming, I also reviewed several pictures that other folks have posted on yelp, and I thought I'd give this place a try. After driving by the front of the restaurant and pulling into the parking lot, I started to have second thoughts about coming here. From the outside, it certainly did not appear to be a location worthy of an excellent rating on yelp. Still, I trusted the yelp community, and I decided to come inside. Boy, the yelp community was right on this one! This is one of those restaurants that is excellent, but you wouldn't know it unless you gave it a try. Immediately after entering, I decided to take a seat at one of their tables in a corner. Just after sitting down, a gentleman came over and delivered some fresh chips and two kinds of salsa. My waitress came over shortly thereafter and introduced herself. Her name was Marcella (sp?). She was friendly and professional throughout my experience here, and she was patient with me in explaining some of the items on their menu. After reviewing their menu and eating a bunch of their chips and salsa (which are ridiculously good), I decided what I wanted. I ordered the "Quesabirria w/Consome," with beef, which are 4 birria and cheese tacos, served with onion, cilantro, pickled onion, radish, and special spicy salsa. I ordered a Coca-Cola along with my dinner order. I definitely made the right choice for my meal. They were generous in filling my tacos with a bunch of shredded beef, and they were amazingly good. My soda was refreshing as well. In my opinion, this is a better place for authentic Mexican food rather than Americanized Mexican food. After my meal, my waitress said that she is giving me some of their dessert for free since this was my first time here. She was very kind, and an excellent waitress. Overall, I did have an excellent experience here, just as so many others have had. This was a reminder for me that sometimes I need to just trust the yelp community, and most often a high yelp rating is high for a valid reason. If you're in the area, you should give this place a try. In addition to this review, be sure to check out all my pictures if you'd like to get more detail on this location, some of which are attached to this review.

I ordered the Fisherman's Stew, a generous combination of calamari, octopus, shrimp, fish, and more. It was excellent. Although it presents like a soup, the texture is far richer and more substantial. The deep, robust tomato base gave it an almost Italian character--layered, comforting, and full of flavor. We also tried the chimichurri oysters, which were fresh, clean, and beautifully briny. The salmon--ordered medium--and the one-pound portion of crawfish were equally impressive. The salmon, in particular, was cooked to perfection--tender, moist, and well-seasoned. To be honest, the exterior of the restaurant is not especially impressive. At first glance, it gives the impression of a small, casual spot where you might expect overcooked, overly salty, fried seafood. That assumption was completely wrong--and I found myself quietly apologizing for the misjudgment. Inside, the atmosphere is inviting, cozy, and clean. As for the service, our waitress was adequate--neither especially warm nor unfriendly. She wasn't particularly fast, but she wasn't slow either. She simply did her job. While the service wasn't remarkable, it certainly wouldn't keep us from returning or recommending this place. Floyd's is a genuine hidden gem--one I would gladly visit again.
