Awesome, my grill looks brand new. Will definitely use again

Jack is just the man. His first visit was to tell us our old BBQ was beyond repair and just plain dangerous. We would have had no idea. He then helped us find the perfect new grill, and came back to assemble it. Jack is so detail-oriented and dedicated to his trade, you just have to call him. 5-stars all the way! read more

Jack did on an outstanding job restoring our Webber Summit 6 burner BBQ. Looks like new. He arrive on time spent all day, and was extremely professional. Great Job Jack. read more

Jack is fantastic! After owning a home(s) for many years, one can spot a service provider that performs a job like they're working on their own home...Jack is all that. Replaced our regulator and a couple of igniters. He kept the work area clean and fine tuned some other issues without asking. Highly recommend. read more

Jack replaced two burners on my GE monogram grill along with some other more minor repairs. I wish I had a before and after photo to show you but prior to Jack's work it was a mess. Afterwards it looked brand new. He even added in some lava rocks for the heating trey at no cost. Professional, honest and friendly. Highest recommendation!! read more

Jack did a phenomenal job on our Lynx Sedona grill! We've had it for almost 3 years and use it quite a bit and it looks brand new again-he was on time, courteous and worked hard to deliver a beautiful finished product. I highly recommend BBQ Revivers! read more

Beginning of summer I had the BBQ Revivers get my Viking grill ready for the summer. They did an awesome job, not only doing the deep cleaning needed but also some minor repair work. I will have them back next spring to help me be ready for the BBQ season! read more

Jack is great, he responds quickly on messages and provides in depth and very verbose answers, and definitely trustworthy. If he does not do some sort of work and can not help with your specific problem he would recommend someone else who can help in your particular case. I had great experience working with him and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. read more

I called to see about having my grill cleaned and fixed--the gas line seemed blocked--I got a call back saying they don't work in San Francisco but giving detailed instructions on how to fix the line (unscrew the regulator and screw it back on to reset it) which totally worked! I'm super happy for the free advice and figure a Yelp review is the least I can do. My grill is still filthy, hope BBQ Revivers will expand to SF soon. read more

Love cleaning your BBQ? Me neither. Jack does it all; repair, service, cleaning, and he'll find the perfect grill for you too. Jack of all trades pertaining to the grill... I've been meaning to write this for the past three years. Jack is the BBQ MeisterReviver Extraordinaire. I've got a fire magic grill that cost more than my first three cars combined. I grill nearly everyday, even when it's pouring rain. I'm not under a comfy tiki hut either; can't afford one since I bought the grill. Anyway, Jack comes every summer and literally takes the grill apart and cleans every component. He's here for hours and does an incredible job. I feel like I've got a brand new grill every June. He's very reasonable, and has also suggested where I can get other components for my big daddy at a good price. Honest, dependable, Jack does the tough work, and I can focus on grilling and chilling. Highly recommend. BBq Revivers contact info is 925.899.7983 jackdoddadv@gmail.com read more

Outstanding! I understand why BBQ Revivers is in such high demand. Jack is a very knowledgeable and detailed worker. I have a built in outdoor grill that had been neglected by the previous home owners - dirty, some rust & 3 of the 4 burners would not ignite. Another company - who I went with because Jack was booked for a month - told me I needed to replace the 3 burners and the racks with rust on them. Fortunately we had scheduling issues and the issue was not fixed before Jack was able to schedule me. In 1 hour he was able to not only fix the burner issue with no new parts - just cleaning the issue out that kept the ignition from working - he also cleared all the rust and cleaned my grill. Our grill is now in top order for a small $80 fee rather than paying for multiple parts and labor. Also, Jack gave great tips for maintaining and pre-seasoning our grill. Easy to understand when talking to Jack that his work is more than a pay check. He genuinely cares about his clients needs. I told him I'd give him a great 'yelp' review to which he replied, 'that is not my concern, my job is to make sure you can use your grill tonight.' Thank you Jack, you were worth the wait and you will be my first call for anything grill related! read more

I have had BBQ revivers come out to service my BBQ on several occasions. Last week my BBQ wasn't lighting. I called Mr. Dodd and left a message he contacted me within 24 hours. I told him the problem and he said did you change the battery? I didn't even know the BB had one. I followed his instructions on how to replace the battery. It took care of the problem and my grill is working properly. It is nice to find a company that is honest and not all bout the $$$. I will wait until BBQ season is over and left a message for Mr. Dodd that I would have my grill cleaned and serviced after Labor Day. read more

Jack may be the single best service provider of any kind. Not only did he quickly troubleshoot and fix the burners but he left the grill looking like it was new. This was after the grill had not been cleaned in 3 years and with the worst rain season pouring on all kinds of debris from our oak tree. Pro tip: you'll have to wait a few weeks or more to get Jack scheduled but he is worth every penny. read more

Jack is simply the best!! He is always very busy so plan ahead!! My grill always looks like new when he is done!

OMG! Jack & Kenneth were here 6 weeks ago to fix the grill, wow! Works great! Jack was back today at 4:30 & worked until 8:30 to clean our filthy grill. Amazing! Shines like new & worth every penny. He has always been great communicator if running late. He didn't stop working even when we offered to share our dinner. Loved reading an article in the local news on how he started the business. THANKS!!! read more

Jack came to my home in Danville and did a great job of cleaning up my DCS BBQ. He was there during the only 4 hours of rain recently but he got the job done and cleaned everything up. I highly recommend Jack Dodd and BBQ Revivers Tom B read more

Great job. Very detailed. Fair price. Professional service. I would recommend to anyone who needs serious help with their bbq.

Jack came by yesterday to fix a problem with my burners and igniters. As it turned out, 12+ years of gunky buildup was the problem. He re-drilled the burners, cleaned the igniters, and advised that I get a new set of briquette trays. After only an hour's work, my old grill is working great again. Jack even gave me some advice on how to do some further cleanup on my own and where to go when it's time to replace the grill (hopefully not for another 5 years or so). Five stars for BBQ Revivers! I'd recommend them to anyone in need of grill repair or maintenance. read more

Jack was recommended to us by the former owner of our house and he is amazing. He truly revives the sad, dirty, worn-out BBQ. He has helped us with several issues on both of our grills, and we are very pleased with his customer service and the quality of his work. read more

Jack is a true artist. Our BBQ was on life support and he brought her back to life. Jack was on time, clean and tidy. He made sure not to leave a mess behind and the BBQ looked like it rolled off the assembly line when he was done. He didn't rush the job either taking over six hours to ensure the job was done right. read more

We were planning to throw out our 8-year old Weber BBQ, but Jack saved it from the landfill with three hours' effort, a few spare parts, and a very reasonable fee. He's a very articulate, thoughtful professional and I'm very glad we found him. Drop him a line at 'bbqrevivers@gmail.com' read more

Outstanding service. Jack is a very nice person and very talented in BBQ cleaning and repair. My grill has never had a service in six years and after his four hour visit it looks and works like new. Money well spent and excellent service. I would definitely recommend to anyone. read more

Absolutely terrific. Showed up exactly on time. Spent hours executing a job well done. Before: non-working grill with crust all over it. After: perfectly functioning grill that looked almost new. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

My wife and I were not thrilled about having to call someone to help us with our BBQ. We had already cleaned our Kenmore gas grill ourselves and were quite proud of the job we did until the burners did not turn on. Ooops! I called Jack with BBQ Revivers and he talked to me and gave me some trouble shooting options. I tried those the next day and when they did not work, I called him and he came to our house at 8 pm to make sure he could get our BBQ fixed. Since we were having a BBQ party the next day, his timing and willingness to come over were much appreciated. It was worth the $79.00 for the service call. Thank you, Jack. read more

Got the full clean done last week. Outstanding job. Grill looks & works like new.

Jack was knowledgeable, showed up on time, and fixed the grill quickly. He was willing to share and show how to maintain the grill in the future. A great value and efficient. read more

It was a long drive for him to come to my house but he came anyway. Thank you Jack for cleaning my built in custom, not so custom old barbque. The burners were very clogged and the gas was backing up to the source. He clean out the burner holes as best that he could and the burners work now. The burner also had rusted so he advised in the near future when this happens again i should have the burners replaced. He said not to try to clean them again. A honest man. We barbqued last night and it worked great. read more

Jack was just at our house yesterday and did a fantastic job! He fixed three separate minor, yet highly annoying, problems. He even removed a spider from one of the gas burners. He was thorough, patient and very professional. We are extremely pleased with the results. read more

Incredible. These guys work soooooo hard and my grill is like new. You must absolutely use them. Easily gained another 5 years of life out of my barbecue read more

Great experience with Jack of BBQ Revivers. We are well outside of the Concord area (SF Peninsula), so our appointment for a BBQ safety inspection took a little time to organize, but when the day came Jack arrived on time, was very knowledgable, gave me good advice, and lots of good actionable information. Very satisfied. read more

Jack was incredibly helpful! I called and left a voicemail about my grill not working. He called back and listened to me explain what was happening. He then gave me advice on how to fix the grill myself by replacing the regulator (~$23) and see if that fixes the issue. That was the problem and it was an easy self-fix. Jack then followed up to ensure that the grill was working and offered to stop by that day if there were still issues. While I did not actually utilize BBQ Revivers to repair my grill, I was blown away by Jack and his customer service. Thanks, Jack! read more

We are having a huge party on Friday night and the knob broke off my weber barbecue rendering 1/3 of it useless. I called Jack (having found him from reading his reviews on Yelp!) and he came over right away. It was at the end of the day and he happened to be close by, but truly this was such lovely customer service! I had been told by barbecues galore from whom I had bought the barbecue (who by the way doesn't sell weber parts!) that I needed to order the parts and then they would come fix it. I had no idea what parts I needed! Jack came to my rescue. He showed up and looked everything over. He said it's either a simple fix or he'd need to order parts and return. He tried the simple fix and it worked. Yippee! Jack did a great job on short notice. He knew his stuff and was very pleasant to deal with. 5 stars to BBQ Revivers!!!! read more

BBQ Revivers just left and I am so impressed! Our BBQ had not been used in a year, we inherited it from previous owners. It was rusted and a complete mess. They worked on it for over 3 hours and it looks brand new. The great part was the instructions they gave me on how to use it and keep it looking new. These guys are the greatest! read more

This guy knows his bbq's!! He helped me with my Jenn-air bbq that I inherited. I didn't have to wait long for an appointment and he actually came after his regular hours... I'm so pleased and learned so much about my bbq - he's a very cool guy! read more

Jack just finished cleaning our grill. I can't really add more to what has already been said but all the positive comments are true. Aside from the extensive and extremely thorough cleaning that took many hours (my mind is blown on just how clean our grill is now), I really appreciated that Jack took the time to give me pointers on preventive maintenance and suggested cleaning tools that work better than the ones I found on Amazon. If I had to sum up the experience: Jack is like the friendliest neighbor who happens to be a BBQ expert and came over and took the time necessary to clean our grill as if it were his own. Yes I had to wait about a month but the wait was definitely worth it. read more

Another 5 star review! Jack is a really nice guy who showed up on time and did an outstanding job. In looking at the pictures here on Yelp of the "after" I was thinking... "Well MY grill won't look like that". boy was I wrong. The grill is sparkling clean. Can't wait to start getting it dirty again. Thanks BBQ Revivers. read more

Overall just a great experience with Jack & BBQ Revivers. From getting prompt calls back to setup an appointment to the cleaning and repair experience. Jack did an awesome job from start (8AM) to finish (7PM) on our Weber Grill Center. Replaced parts out of his own refurbished collection and made the whole setup look like new. Best of all, when he was done, the backyard area where he worked was as clean as when he left. His last piece of advice - "Don't be afraid to cook on it just because it is clean". read more
