Just for the records, since this NEW location does not have a Yelp account listed. This review will be posted on the Hicksville location BUT it is for the new Coram, NY location. Right off the bat I would like to welcome BBQ nite to Suffolk County, New York. Better yet, coming to Coram, New York where everyone has been deprived of good, authentic, Pakistani desi cuisine. You might have visited BBQ nite at their Hicksville location but they just opened up a new location right in the heart of Coram, NY. The service was fast and courteous and the nice gentleman behind the counter ensured our order was made fresh and delicious. The ambiance is like your typical take out fast food however, they're doing things differently at the Coram location. Trust me when I tell you that it is highly recommended that you order your food 20 minutes ahead of time so you can beat the traffic. My family and I started our food journey earlier today and we selected some of their popular food items. First off, you guys have to try out their chicken briyani. Not too spicy, but packed with masala and flavor! Perfectly cooked chicken and the flavors of South Asia hits you with a boom! We also order their not single but DOUBLE kebab roll which involves 2 seekh kebabs wrapped in a freshly baked naan roll! With some lettuce and house made chutney sauce, yum! 10 out of 10 recommended! Love ordering from here because of the food. Their chicken biriyani, goat pulao, goat biriyani, zinger burger, chicken Philly and masala fries are all great. The goat pulao and goat biriyani are only on select weekends so we always call to check. One thing that has changed is their service. When I call to place my order, they hang up right after I say my items and they tell me how long it's going to take. No warmth. Super rude staff despite us being regular customers. No smiles, no welcoming their customers, they'll just be hanging out in the back and ignoring people in line no matter how busy it is. And it's not even occasional, it's their constant vibe lol. I just had to say something about it because the Management needs to do something to fix this. It's so bad I dread going in to pick up my order. This trip to BBQ nite is super tasty. Simply loved the Nihari, Chicken Achari, Seekh Kebabs and Biryani. Kheer was also good. Naans were also good this time. Ambiance not so great, but not bad. The masala fries are good as always. Fresh and hot. Tasty seasoning. However, Spicy Zinger was very disappointing. The only difference between the original and the spicy version is that the spicy one is doused in Frank's Hot sauce. It caused the sandwich to become way too spicy and soggy. The hot sauce overpowers the rest of the flavors and is the only thing you taste. The chicken cutlet used is very thin, mostly batter, and very dry. For $8 this sandwich was a let down. I've been here many times and mainly had a good experience with the food. I took one star off for some past experiences, but this time was a 5 star. This time the food was hot, fresh, and very delicious. The food always takes a little bit of time but it was worth it to me. They've revamped the decor and the place is nice and clean. I especially like the new, clean bathroom because the old one sometimes wasn't so nice. We got the cheeseburger, zinger burger, and masala fries. This time the cheeseburger and zinger burger were the best I've had. Particularly, the zinger burger was crispy and cooked to perfection. The masala fries were good as always. The lassi was given to us complimentary, which was super nice of them! It was a little sweet for me but if you like sweet and tangy it's for you. I prefer the mango to the regular in general. The staff was nice and wore masks. My previous issues were that the staff yelled at each other in front of customers, however, this time there was nothing of the sort. A couple of times the zingers didn't seem fresh. So I normally order take-out from here, but finally had a chance to eat-in at the restaurant this past weekend. Food is great as usual. Everything here is very flavorful, from the Zinger Burger to the Chicken Makhni. However, they started putting cheese in the Zinger burger and I don't like the way it tastes. Gotta remember to tell them to hold off on the cheese. One thing I don't like about their restaurant is that it's never clean. I had to clean the table before sitting (it's the same at their other locations too).There's also trash on the floor at times. They definitely need to hire a full time person to clean up. read more

Ordered Uber Eats from the Hicksville location because people recommended it over the East Meadow store. Ordered the chicken makhni-it was creamy and the chicken had a good texture. There was a lot of fat on the chicken pieces and the sauce was spicier than usual. Ordered the butter naan for the chicken makhni sauce. It was somewhat dry. Also got the zinger burger. Have come here many times but this time was the worst. Terrible customer service. The girl behind the counter is rude. Order plain fries they brought out masala fries. (Kiddo can't eat that). Ask them to fix it. She didn't want too. The replacement fries we got were a quarter of the plate of the masala fries. Ordered naan. Got cold stale naan. Ask them to fix it. She yells a across the restaurant tell them "it's fresh". Ordered biryani they served us some biryani rice with goat curry on top of it. Why? I don't know. I've been to both this location and the Elmont location but this one is better by far! Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious either way. Large portions and cheap prices and so much flavor. Whenever we come, we usually get an order of their Masala Fries, their Mixed Roll, and their Zinger burger (I think that's what others meant if they wrote "ginger" burger in their reviews). You can't go wrong with either of those. We came in on a Saturday early evening and had a pleasant experience as well! The staff were very friendly and didn't rush us. When we said we were dining in, they were clear on which table they would serve us at, and the staff that brought our order out was warm as well. I'm noting this mainly because you can usually tell if employees hate being there or just aren't warm towards customers and that was not the case this time around. The food also came out pretty quickly and when you're ordering at the front, you have a clear view into where they prepare the food - which is pretty neat. The space is also very well kept, neat, and clean and they sanitize each table after someone leaves which is reassuring to see especially during Covid. Food is absolutely delicious, I really recommend the mix grill with cheese naan. It's basically a wrap and the flavors of their mix grill is very flavorful, as it is seasoned through the roof without being overwhelming. They can take a while with orders so call ahead in advance. read more

This place is mostly take out with few tables and chairs. We ordered the Zinger Burger which was seemed highly popular by many people on Yelp. We also ordered the Marsala fries and the chicken biryami. The Chicken Biryani was ice cold which was kind of strange. But it was okay because we were heading home anyway. The fries were SO GOOD. They were very well seasoned and not really spicy. They cut their fries thin, so they're more crunchy than soft. The Zinger Burger was creative with red onions, cheese, lettuce, and some kind of special sauce. There were very generous amounts of fried chicken in the burger, about like 3 pieces! Two people could share a burger and still eat very well. The burger actually reminded me of a Popeyes chicken burger with a twist. The chicken biryani was actually my favorite. After heating it up in the microwave it was VERY fragrant and flavorful! There were chicken pieces in there which were very tender and pieces of star anise mixed in the rice. I've been to both BBQ Nite locations. Even though this place is famous for their BBQ chicken and Zinger burgers, I come here for the biryani. The tandoori chicken is of course off the hook but BBQ Nite has been consistently satisfying that home cooked masala wali spicy biryani you crave but are too lazy to make! Hicksville location is more convenient because has a small parking lot. Plus you can hit up some other errands like halal meat shopping from across the street at Aladin halal meat (organic meat). Definitely recommend BBQ Nite. The service is great, friendly staff and food is warm and delicious. Packed on weekends so might have to wait for a table. read more

Fantastic food served here with amazing value. My mom and I often go here when the mood strikes for a good Roll. The meat is seasoned and cooked so well here. The Mixed grill is our favorite. My mom loves the fish and chips as it's got a nice kick to it. Their lollipop chicken is to die for. I've reviewed before giving it 4 stars because of their food and complained about their service. Now I'm giving it 1 star because the man on the phone is extremely rude. He puts me on hold for 5 minutes and then tells me to place my order. I say my order a little slow so they don't mess it up, and he gives me attitude and tells me to hurry up, telling me to order fast. Excuse you, we're not in the homeland anymore. Cooked food on display wasn't look good, not impressed. Definitely prefer halal meats. We love the fried chicken. It's even good cold! Planning on relying on this fast food chicken when my son is a teenage. Even from the frig, it doesn't have a greasy or fatty taste. We always order the largest bucket like portion. The batter is mildly flavored. There's a kick to it. I think there's paprika in the batter. Their fried chicken is better than HMart's. The pieces are a bit smaller than the steroid looking KFC pieces, which we prefer. Real chicken. So I went to order here as I was passing by, I asked a menu and one guy said we don't have one and its online, thats fine. First time and so happy we tried this restaurant (take out). I had ordered the Chicken Tikka Boti kabob and a side of Biryani. My coworker ordered a Mix Roll and given that we were novices at BBQ Nite, the gentleman threw in a Chicken Tikka Leg kabob. Along with this was some delicious sauces to pour over the rice and the chicken. What a great spot for lunch takeout for the office! Saw the sign when driving by "BBQ nite" had to check it out. Place doesn't do the American style BBQ. It's a Halal BBQ joint that does kababs and such. I can say that not being a big indo-pak diner type of guy I ordered a "zinger burger". The menu states it is "Most famous in town" I don't know what the locals think, but the burger was awesome. It was a chicken burger done fried with breadcrumbs (home style) Chicken was super moist and tender. I could have ate two of them. I went back but think it will be the last time . The food was just ok and I asked for a salad and received just lettuce and red onions . No tomato or cucumbers . The chicken was fried fresh and I did add an additional order of wings last minute but the chicken and rice I had requested only needed to be warmed . The man at the counter was polite and answered my questions . I didn't feel uncomfortable while waiting and as it seemed many regulars would come in to order . I removed stars because once I got home and looked at my container he'd only added 3-4 small pieces of chicken masala atop a large plate of rice . I was extremely disappointed and felt robbed . The food was tasty but I don't understand why he chose to short me out on a portion . Wish I'd thought to snap a quick pic. I also got the mango lassi and it was good and my daughter liked her tenders and fiancé liked his wings . Small and understated, but food is super tasty. I had the chicken tikka roll which was only 5 bucks! It was like a foot long and was more than enough for lunch... I saved half for dinner! Not only that, the flavors are amazing and the yogurt sauce adds additional flavor that doesn't take away from the roll at all.
