Due to covid, Thanksgiving is a little different this year. This means no large family gatherings and turkey. So I decided to purchase chicken instead since I really enjoyed it last time. After placing the order, I realized I placed the order from the location near Yonge and Sheppard instead of the location close to Yonge and Cummer (where I went last time). I wanted to pick up from Yonge and Cummer instead because there's a parking lot where I'm positive I can safely park and pick up my food. It wasn't a big deal at the Yonge and Sheppard today as I was lucky enough to find parking behind the building because somebody was leaving when I turned in. There's no lines in the parking area, but if people park considerately, there's enough space to park 4 cars. Back to the food. Again, I ordered the half half with secret spicy sauce and the golden fried and a side of the cheese balls which I didn't get to try last time. Although, the chicken was freshly made and packed while I was there, by the time I got home, the food wasn't hot/warm. Maybe it's because the weather was colder out and I had to walk around with the food to the back of the shop to my car then drive home? Anyways, I started with the cheese ball. It was really delicious, the cheese was oozing out. It's the perfect appetizer to share! The chicken was crispy and flavour was great, however, the chicken cooled down by the time I started eating. It would've been nice if the meet was warm/hot. But of course, with the temperature dropping outside and the 20 minutes commute home, that's beyond their control. Regardless, the food was fresh and was nicely packed.

Being a KorFC lover already this place is okay. Maybe it was overhyped for me after watching crash landing and other folks reviews but it wasn't as crispy and flavorful as I'd hoped. You can call in to pre order. It takes around 20mins. There is a lot of competition in the area, I'd try them as well. As for their donkatsu, its pretty mediocre. It comes with a miso soup, japchae, rice, salad and, 1 pork katsu steak. The katsu sauce is SUPER salty. The katsu itself was cooked in pretty old oil and didn't have much flavor by itself. The japchae was the best part of this meal. For $10 on yonge its not horrible.

Note: Delivery, not at restaurant Stumbled upon this place scrolling through the UberEats options when I saw a logo I recognized from the Netflix show Crash Landing on You. Figured what the hell, might as well... Ordered: -Cheese Ball -Crunch Prawn Stick -Duk-Bokki -Half and Half (Original and Secret Spicy) -Cheesling -Soy Garlic -Galbi Q Before I began, the first thing I thought was, I thought I ordered the chicken boneless, but none of them were boneless. Maybe it was me who made the mistake, so I will need to check again next time I order. Small thing, but just mentioning it because it kinda set things off on the wrong foot. The saucy ones were pretty tasty but to my surprise, the ones I liked the best were the original and the cheeslings. Those two were definitely the tastiest to me. The flavour and crunch were excellent and not oily at all, unlike what you might expect from typical American 3-letter fast food fried chicken chains. The reason this is a pretty big deal is because it's coming from someone who hates dry wings. When I go to a pub or wing restaurant, there HAS to be sauce. Not saying it has to be drenched, but I always feel sauce-less wings are too plain. Yes I know these aren't exactly wings, but all I'm saying is I favour dishes that have sauce. These however did NOT need sauce at all. The duk-bokki was saucy and tasty with a good amount of heat to it, but might be pretty standard to other Korean restaurants that serve this dish. I would say at LEAST average, if not maybe even above. And when pairing the sauce with the crunchy prawns though...mmm. DELISH. However, the real stars of the show were the cheese balls. I've only ever seen them on tv and as soon as I took a bite, they truly were everything I hoped for and more. The shell was crispy, while the inner walls were chewy and the cheese was the PERFECT balance between stretchy and liquidy. There is no way I'd order again WITHOUT ordering the cheese balls. To me these were a MUST. Overall I would say the experience was fantastic, and this is all for an order that was not even at the actual restaurant. I couldn't even imagine how much better it might be fresh from the kitchen. Now I know why everyone in the show was always eating at this restaurant.

Warning: it's addictive! This place specializes in Korean fried chicken and it is delicious. I can see why it's a top chain in Korea. How the fried chicken stays crispy when you get home is a world wonder. Wish they had more combo options so you can try more flavors at once. A sampler option would be fabulous. The half & half is not available in the cup size. When you make it the upstairs, the place seems to sparkle like an oasis in the dessert. Or maybe I was just hungry. Place is clean, with staff wearing shield masks. Recommend calling your order in advance so you don't have to wait around. Definitely coming back.

Second bb.q chicken place I went to. Because I am that obsessed.. so good! This time I got the hot spicy chicken and I was not disappointed. It was spicy, and sweet at the same time. So delicious! I just love the batter, so crunchy and light!
