We came in yesterday after leaving Eureka next door because the drinks were really awful. Laura was sweet angel and made us the best drinks! She was quick and was super friendly. We moved tables and had another server and she was super sweet too! They were following COVID distancing and mask guidelines and the bar was really clean. Great atmosphere and great service! They had 5 for $5 wings and they do not tell you the second order of wings you get will be regular price until it is time to pay. So instead of paying the menu price of 13.99 for some wings we ended up paying 15. The service was okay the server was friendly but I think it was a miscommunication with the kitchen because we ordered the sweet hell wings but were brought out bbq despite us saying nobody at the table ordered bbq. The cherry on top was the wings just were not good in general. The lemon pepper had no seasoning at all. Respectfully yall can do better. Service wasn't the best, but it's July 2021 and I think they have a shortage of workers, but the service can be improved. I ordered the 3am burger and the burger had too much bread for my liking and it tasted "off", I tasted everything on my burger individually and determined it was the beef patty. I'm not sure if it's the seasoning or if the beef was bad, but it didn't taste like any beef I've ever had so I just ate the bacon, egg and cheese from the burger and my tater tots. The waiter and the manager did not know what a California ID looked like so we were turned away and accused us of having fakes. She was not willing to google what they looked like. When we came again the next day, not looking to have a drink, they turned us away very rudely, and said they had no seating (the restaurant was empty). I'm not sure what's going on here. Best wings I've had in a long while! Put in an order for my work crew on FAVOR. Was a bit leery about it because of some of the reviews on here but glad I did. Two of us got wings and loved them. Great flavor and well cooked crispy. The other two had a burger and claimed each to be one of the best burgers they've had. My only negative was the sweet potato fries weren't cooked all the way through on some of them but the done ones were tasty and would have been amazing had we gotten them fresh dining in the actual restaurant. Arrived at 315pm on Sunday. After the first set of NFL games were done. Sat at a dirty table for 15 min, no server ever passed by so I went to the bar to order a drink. At the now 23 min mark the bartender asked me if I was at a table. I said yes but no one has been by. She said you'll have to orser from your server. I asked Who is my Server then? I'd like to get a drink. She said I dont know. Ugh. So i sit for another 15 min and finally go to the server station at the end of the bar. A girl says ill be right there.....10 min later nodda. I go find her and asked for a beer and a coke for my wife. 17 min later no drinks. But same server has now brought 3 full trays of drinks, food, waters to a table 8ft away. Never even looked over at us. So i follower her to the server station and ask how much longer for that beer? Oh we're really busy....um ok but its been an hour and I just would like a beer.......we went back to the table. Waited another 8 minutes. Bartender still hasnt poured one drink behind the bar. We just walked out. Look I've worked in restaurants, I get it. You got slammed earlier and everyone is playing catch up. But jeezus a beer and a coke isnt that tough to accomplish. Hell walk behind the bar and pour it yourself. 2 min and you're on your way to a happy insanely an overtipping customer. But here I am a few doors down at Eureka watching the football game, getting outstanding service, and had food in under 15 minutes. F all of your rude employees. I can eat med rare, med, med well meat. I order medium, so if it's either over or under, I should be fine. Last week I ordered medium burger. It came out well done and dry, so I sent it back. The replacement burger came out rare. I ate it anyway and had stomach issues that night. I thought it could be new staff or something. Today ordered medium burger, came out well done and dry. From what I understand, this is a new restaurant. I am not sure what this location used to house or used to be. The atmosphere is clean and lively. The staff here were great, and were prompt, professional, and friendly. I ordered a couple of items from the menu, and the food isn't the most fantastic you'll find in Austin. But it was good, freshly prepared, and I hope that they add to the menu and try different items rather than just the nachos and burgers they have now. I would definitely say that this restaurant is worth a try. read more

We walked in and sat ourselves, waited almost 10 minutes to receive service and never had my order taken. We weren't even acknowledged as we walked in. The owner was conducting an interview next to us, and once he was finished we were continuously ignored. The waitress was looking for tasks to do behind the bar, and never even came to the table to say hello or get a drink order. I ordered a burger with the chicken patty after asking the waitress whether it was fried or grilled. She informed me the chicken option was fried, and I ordered it. After nearly 30 minutes of waiting for the food, I was brought a grilled chicken sandwich. I had to wait another 10 minutes to find a waitress, who told me our original waitress was gone, and I could either wait 20 additional minutes for a burger or it was "too bad." First of all it's clear that the management places a premium on courteous and attentive service. I was on a business trip during the NFL playoffs and stopped in here twice. There were signs on the tables that seemed to indicate that they are in a 'soft opening' phase working on new elevated menu items and service training. This is a Sports bar surrounded by Frat bars and saloons blasting bass. So that's the first great comment - I chose this location because they featured the game audio rather than music which is what a Sports bar is supposed to do! That's why the other bars were empty and literally carnival barking shot specials for business. Now the food - It's definitely more sophisticated fare than a typical pub and with great presentation. The wings were well prepared, I don't care for breaded wings, but the sauce was essentially Hooters 3 Mile Island sauce. I ordered the gumbo as well - problem ... it was definitely not gumbo, it came with a clump of undercooked rice clumsily placed to the side of the bowl on a bottom plate. This was a Southwest Chicken and Vegetable soup. It had a very thin broth - no roux was ever an element of this soup. Here's the thing - it tasted pretty good once the rice rehydrated in the soup, I liked it, but it needs to be renamed immediately before someone from the Bayou suffers a heartache upon being presented with it as Gumbo. Also - if you are serving gumbo you need Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco, Chilula won't do. The Hummus was grainy like store bought, homemade Hummus should be off white and should have the consistency of spreadable margarine. Last two suggestions are as follows: 1 - Be aware that when the NFL playoffs are on the back wall should not have 1/6 of TV's on the game, 2/6 on non-regional NHL, 2/6 on Women's non-regional college basketball (they fixed this when I came back the next day) 2 - Every table is a high top with backless bar stools - tough to endure that physically for a 3 hour game - rethink that.
