This is the second time that I've used this company. The owner came both times, and remembered my…read moreplace from the first time three years ago. I was pleased with the work both times. Counting the business owner, three plumbers came today. This time my initial request was to replace two faucets. The plumbers who came to give an estimate a week ago discovered that the cold water valve needed replacing. Notice must be given to building residents 3-4 days in advance of water shutoffs per my HOA rules. A few months after the first time I needed this plumbing company, a contractor working on remodeling my kitchen should have found the valve problem. But since he did not, the silver lining is the quality of the work by this company. I have complete faith that the replacement valve will work perfectly since they installed it. They showed me the plastic valve they replaced and how it would not turn at all. We all liked the faucets I chose for them to install. In the bathroom my glass waterfall faucet has LED lights to indicate cold, warm and hot water. After installing it the plumber showed me a video of the lights working before I went in to try it myself. The kitchen faucet is a Moen which looks nice to start with, and has some great functionality. As the handle is turned for the water the head floats down a little. Then it is possible to select an angle for the head to remain, for example 45 degrees. It will stay in the selected position while the water runs. The owner took a video for himself! Besides the top quality of the work, I appreciate the polite and respectful manners of the owner and all the plumbers.

He presented us three options and solid estimates. We chose the middle one and then decided to also ask about a toilet replacement. Again, Sean presented us options and we agreed to one He gave us. As he didn't have the toilet on his repair truck, Bee's dispatched an employee with a new toilet. Sean was very professional in his work, answering questions as he proceeded with the work. He mentioned a couple of things that needed replacing due to their aging. We agreed to have them replaced. When Sean presented the invoice, it was exactly as he stated. Only now my kitchen is torn apart, and I was informed today that the restoration company has a backlog on the restoration of over a month and that I have to contract my own restoration company if I want it done sooner. I've contacted Bees and am waiting for a call back, yet again. I'd like to provide some feedback to Bees: I have made a total of 4 calls to your company over the last several weeks. Your customer service staff has always been friendly and concerned about resolving this issue. I leave the calls feeling like this issue will get handled. However, every time I have been told that a manager will contact me. This has not happened once. Not one phone call from someone in charge to reach out to me, to apologize, let me know what the plan is, what to expect, what the timeline is. I'm honestly fine with a phone call that says "we don't know but we're working on it. We'll call you on this day with more information." I don't understand why no one has reached out to me for a 5 minute phone call to let me know I'm not being ignored, in over a month. That needs to change.

Unfortunately concerning Pristine we were met with resistance and denial. The representative went straight to saying they shouldn't do a heat pump, due to the lack of floor insulation. This didn't make sense to us, as three other companies already reviewed the home and claimed otherwise. However the representative from Pristine seemed to not want to hear that, and after a bit of back and forth said the words "I guess we aren't the company you want to go for". They made the decision for us, which is odd considering we were only trying to purchase more than a standalone furnace. Maybe it was a miscommunication somewhere but it's clear from the rep that they didn't want our business. Edit: Further reduced score based on the reply from the company including false truths, never once did we claim that what the representative had said was "B.S." and to be clear they never said nor verified the home was insulated properly. The claimed the floors needed to be insulated, which was debunked by other companies as heat rises, and floor insulation does very little in terms of holding the homes heat. Poor response taking no real responsibility.

This felt very much like a bait and switch. Beware for them to give you a low bid and raise the price when they arrive to do the work. Edit: After follow-up discussion with the company, I no longer believe this was a bait and switch, just poor communication from the woman in the office, the original estimator, and the people on-site who showed up to do the work. Each of the three areas that I was expecting to be done (attic, walls, crawlspace) had legitimate reasons for why they couldn't be done.

First, I…read morehad the estimator come out just a couple days after I called, he spent an hour or so going over my house & checking the insulation and then figured out the estimate. I was shocked, with the PSE rebate, which NW Insulation takes care of, the estimate was thousands less than I thought it would be! I signed up, and a day or so later I got a call to schedule the install, again, surprisingly, they could do it right away and I scheduled for about a week out. The installers got to my house about 8am and were very polite and professional. They basically worked all day, got the job done, and were on their way. They left everything clean and it is amazing to me how the house looked when they were done. They blew in the insulation from the exterior and the method that they used left no trace, they removed a course of siding, drilled holes, filled the walls, plugged the holes, and replaced the siding. You can't even tell that they were there. I have only had a few hot days to determine if there has been an improvement and honestly it really does seem to stay cooler inside, looking forward to winter for the real test. All in all, this has been a great experience, I very highly recommend NW Insulation for your project.

We were in the midst of an absolute disaster trying to get a tankless water heater installed through Home Depot. Called BBC Plumbing and Bob came by within two hours, looked the job over and said he could come by the next day to do the installation. He showed up on time and worked non-stop until late in the evening so that we would not have to go without a hot shower for another day. Hits expertise and the quality of his work were outstanding. He replaced existing parts that were not up to his standard of excellence all on his own. The price for all of this was literally half of the quote we got from Home Depot's installer. On top of everything else, he was a pleasure to interact with while he worked. I will call Bob again, for sure, next time we need a plumber. I'm so glad I found BBC plumbing and Bob. I called on Sunday evening thinking I would get a recording to leave a message and Bob answered the phone spent a few minutes with me discussing the problem I was having and was able to come fix my issue at 8am Monday the next day. The valve on top of my water heater was apparently failing. For the last 2 weeks every time we ran the water the pipes in the house would make a whistling noise throughout the home and I noticed the overflow pipe that runs from the water heater to outside the house had a small steady drip. He replaced the valve and fixed this in about 30 minutes and no more leak and no more whistling. He was very fair in my opinion with what he charged and was very friendly, even taking the time to show me how to fix it next time myself if I chose. A quality remodeling contractor connected me to Bob Benson Plumbing who did an outstanding job, quickly, and for a very good price. Bob is an honest, skilled, experienced plumber who loves his work. I hightly recommend him! My tub faucet leaked, and was dripping down the walls into the garage. I was afraid to pay outrageous fees to big commercial plumbers, so I made do with buckets catching drips in the garage. Bob crawled under our house two times today to hook up the water line to our new frig. It was cold, dirty, and a really nasty job. He did it with a smile and without complaint He also fixed the leak on our outside faucet that hubby hasn't taken care of for at least two years. Bob helped install new water lines for our entire house, fixed a faucet for us and even helped install the supply lines to our fridge (after helping me carry the thing into the house because I hadn't gotten to it before he arrived). When someone came to my house they had no record or idea that their company did any work next door. So they went under my place and said they would have to rip through all the insulation to see if they could even find a problem. I asked about the valve they replaced on my neighbor's after fixing a broken pipe, bc maybe they could look at that part of the pipes. Once Again, no idea about what that could be. They needed a map of underneath my house and was going to see if the office had any or he'd need to tear through my plumbing. He left. He never came back. To my house. Walked off. No phone call either. My water worked perfectly for years, until Mainline was repairing next door and turning off and on water. I thought they would know what work was done so it could be looked at, or maybe what they had replaced need to be replaced in my pipes too. The level of disregard for their work and inconsiderate way of treatment is shocking.

The unit was still under warranty, only two years old, so AOSmith decided to replace the unit with a new unit but installation was at our expense. I approved the installation at my expense. The new hybid hot water heater looks great and we're very happy with the installation of the new unit. Rainier, Chad and his assistant, did a wonderful job installing the new unit. It looks exactly like it did before the repair. It looks so nice you can't even tell it was ever replaced. Thank you Chad and Rainier Plumbing & Rooter for a job well done and making sure it was done right. And thank you also for the guidance and advice about what to do if it happens again.

He returned two days later with his colleague (also named Brandon), and together they did a wonderful job with the installation and cleanup. Brandon kept me informed throughout the process, which I really appreciated. Justin looked at the issue, offered several quick fixes and made some suggestions we can do without needing expensive repairs. To be sure, when I do need any plumbing help in the future (because with a house it's always "when" not "if") you can bet Steady Flow will be my first - and probably only - call. Just as a side note - I had two other plumbers come out to review the same issue. One said it would cost $1000K+ to fix, the other recommended replacing our 6 year old water heater (which is working fine btw). Many small plumbing companies are being bought up by private equity firms, which push expensive and unnecessary repairs or products to pad their bottom line. Steady Flow is a company that is still on the side of their customers!
