Excellent work at a very reasonable rate. Also, just a really nice guy to deal with. 100% recommend.

We have had a Mercurio's technician at the house three times recently to address problems with our…read moretrouble prone water heater. Each time, the technician listened to the problems we were experiencing, correctly diagnosed the problem and repaired the unit. This last time, the technician was able to assure me there was no leakage problem and the alarm was an error. He did a through investigation. I have been very satisfied with the communication. Too often, a service provider is unwilling to take the time to talk to the customer (especially if the customer is a woman). We have purchased a Priority Plus membership because I anticipate on-going problems with this water heater. I trust the technicians who have provided services. Several services are available at a discount with the membership and I plan to use them.

While scheduling the appointment, I have just been told, that because I said, "I didn't think it's heating like it should" That I now have to make an appointment for a " repair technician" that will cost $100+ for the visit. I asked "well then what am I paying for monthly who comes out for the free maintenance appointment?!? and she said something like well that's the "maintenance and safety technician". The "free" appointment that I pay for every month is only for the once a year visit by the "maintenance and safety technician" and because I simply said I don't think t's working quite like it should" now I have to pay $100+ for this visit. What?!? SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!! Bait & SWITCH! I told her on the phone "OK, I take it back. Suddenly my heater is working beautifully. I need the free maintenance visit," she replied "well now that I've already said it wasn't working properly and it's been recorded, I have to pay the $100+ for the appointment. I became a total 'Karen' and asked to speak to someone on a higher level. I was furious!! She couldn't transfer me because it's a Saturday. She continued refusing to give me my standard free appointment (that I actually pay every month for). How does she know if the safety maintenance man can simply push a button and it starts to work better? She doesn't! SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! Do NOT use this company! Do NOT buy a unit from this company! And absolutely do NOT pay monthly for there scam of the "free maintenance visit" THIS IS A CLASSIC, GREEDY COMPANY SCAM!!

We did not have huge mysterious problems - a toilet that was not flushing correctly every time, and a dripping faucet outside. They were scheduled at 9 am, and they left at 10:25. There were a few questionable things. Not about Matt and Jason, who seem to be very nice people. But about their charges. They exchanged a flapper in the toilet for a Toto flapper. A name brand, so it might be more costly. Matt charged $38 for that Toto flapper, which is selling for $6.86 elsewhere. I understand that materials must be upcharged, but that seems excessive. He also charged $180 for 2 hours labor. I cannot quite figure that one out. Perhaps bc there were two plumbers here, then each was a 1 hr labor charge? But this was a one plumber job. Changing a flapper in a toilet, or a leaky faucet only required one plumber. They were not actually here two hours, so it could not have been charging 1 plumber's labor for two hours. ? Not sure about how this charge was figured. The other questionable thing was the credit card processing fee. I always pay in cash or check bc I hate that a businss has to pay 3-3.5% fee. I paid him with a check. However, Matt caught my attention when he said he charges a 5% fee, if you pay with a credit card. Not sure if he is aware of this, but that is illegal in WA state. The state allows you to charge the actual % fee from the credit card company, OR a maximum of 4% . Charging 5% is against the state law. So clearly this is questionable on his part as the business owner. Overall, they seemed committed to doing a thorough job, and helping the customer, but their charges may be excessive

Tim went under the house in the crawl space and discovered that the Heat-pump installers several years ago had lifted the sloping 2" drain to accommodate their own lines creating a low spot which allowed grease and crud to accumulate. Tim came back out later with materials and replaced the lines to required specifications and fixed it for good! I might add that all the folks there are very friendly. I will use them again, if ever needed. The only minor thing I would add is that if quoted a bid, get it in writing and sign it to protect both you and the company. If it is an hourly quote, you should be fine also, since their prices and service are very reasonable. Service: 5 stars Quality: 5 stars Value: 5 stars
