Amazing wine tasting! We had a huge group and the host made sure to accommodate everyone's needs and make sure everyone was enjoying themselves! Would highly recommend! Get there late evening and then you'll have the place to yourself!

This place is really nice! Small but welcoming and the space is nice and open. I like how it's indoors but theres still big windows to see outside. My boyfriend and I came here for the Tradition tasting experience and enjoyed it very much. I used my priority wine pass to get a 2 for 1 tasting. My favorites were the 2023 Mario Bazán Sauvignon Blanc and the 2018 Mario Bazán Cabernet Sauvignon.

Excellent wine. Our server, Bob could not been nicer & educated us all about the wines & history of the winemaker.

Truffles and Chips to pair with the wine tasting!

What a lovely wine tasting experience! Bazan Cellars was our first stop for the day and it really set the bar high. Our host was lovely, personable, and told us the history of Mario Bazan and how he made his mark in Napa Valley. Also, this was my first tasting experience where we were given complimentary snacks to pair with the wine. It's very interesting how the profile of the wine changes after taking a bite of the snacks, which makes for an interactive and fun experience! Definitely would be back again next time I visit Napa.

Chocolate, manchego cheese chips, and a raspberry ganache paired beautifully with Bazan wines!

Great wines, and super informative. I learned so much about wines and found out that I really like Mario Bazán Pinot Noir, smooth!

Cute Chateau-style sparkling winery in Napa. Since this was our last stop of the day, we went with one glass of the Brut ($16) each to toast the birthday girl, the Caviar Flight that includes three 0.5 ounce jars of caviar, potato chips, toast points, Carr crackers, small bowl of crème fraiche and lemon wedges, and tried the salmon gougeres. While they had good flavor, they were on the drier side. We easily hit our minimum spend with the selection and enjoyed the French opulence, along with the cute goods for purchase on the way out. They also added 18% automatically for our party of 6 to the final bill. Great for pictures, although we got rained in. Still a good stop for sparkling wine lovers.

0/10 - do NOT recommend. The building here is gorgeous, although it sits right next to a very busy…read morehighway so there is a lot of traffic noise. Beyond that, the winery is so full of itself. From the moment we walked in they could NOT be bothered to have an ounce of customer service. We waited more than half an hour for a table despite a reservation, most of it being ignored, only to be plopped down at a random table without an umbrella and next to a couple who REEKED of weed. Sure, not the winery's problem, HOWEVER, said couple arrived after us and was sat before. Maybe they're VIPs? Maybe not. The fact remains that the staff made zero effort to welcome us or make it a pleasant outing. On to the tasting - we waited 15 MORE minutes before a waiter came over and by then, we were pretty fed up with the situation and weren't interested in any of the spiel so just ordered right away. Your mileage might vary if you choose to let them tell you about their winery, but honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath. He made a single apology (and to his credit, he was spread pretty thin - this places needs A LOT more staff and for everyone to, I don't know, actually care?!?!). Our cheese plate was delivered and we weren't sure which crackers were gluten free and when asked a simple question about the kind of milk in the cheese, the food runner told us we had to ask the waiter, but then it was on us to flag him down. Seriously - could they be any more careless? Finally, get to the check and they READ YOUR TOTAL OUT LOUD! Who does that? The lack of tact and decorum was appalling!

Alpha Omega Collective - Nice restrooms.

Everyone having wine chose the Signature Flight, which included one white and three reds. I appreciated the option to substitute a Sauvignon Blanc for the Chardonnay, a nice personal touch. Each wine was distinctive, balanced, and delicious in its own way. You could really tell the care and craftsmanship behind every pour. What really stood out was the hospitality. Our host was not only incredibly thoughtful but impressively knowledgeable. She explained where each wine's grapes were grown, described the flavor profiles we could expect, and added insights into how the terroir influenced the wine -- all without it ever feeling too technical or over our heads. Even better, our designated driver was offered iced tea, lemonade, or an Arnold Palmer, which I really appreciated. It's always a plus when tasting rooms consider the full group's experience, not just the drinkers. The vibe was so warm and relaxing, we ended up staying for over two hours. It felt less like a stop and more like a true experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in downtown Napa.

Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. Owner Comment - Congrats on your family's success since 1939 and congrats to this winery's success since 1992.

After we finished eating, I frantically researched (read: checked Yelp) for a winery to visit. Housley seemed to fit the bill--good reviews, dog-friendly (we had her dog with us), and what seemed to be a reasonable tasting price. We get there and we realize it's owned by Tamera Mowry (who is now Mowry-Housley!) There's a picture of her and her husband (a former baseball player) in the window. We're sort-of starstruck. Shortly after, her husband (and the winery's owner) Adam walks up with their daughter and asks us how we're doing. We continue to be starstruck. Service was wonderful. Seating was comfy. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better. I wish our wine tasting could've been free if we bought two bottles or something--I would've done that! Cute merch and store with goodies inside. Bathroom is clean. Would be back!
