Jim from Troy Really, the food's not bad if you can get it served. Arrived with a group of 10, only 2 other groups were already seated, both had already ordered. After we ordered, food started arriving and the staff had no idea which table to serve it at. Some of us , some of the others, rec'd their orders, others had to wait it out 20, 30, ...60 minutes before receiving their meal. A real mess by people who have no business being in the restaurant business. And needless to say, the bills were another disaster. The best stop when you bar hop! The cleanest, and most comfortable bar on Grand Lake. They have good weekly lunch specials. This place is a continued disaster! We sat there for 35 minutes and nobody even acknowledged our presence! The help is less than second rate! Good sandwiches and fries. The Pizza's are really good. Great atmosphere, live bands and plenty of music. If you do not like a bit of noise not the place for you. Or you could simply stay inside and enjoy your food and conversation where it is a bit quieter. Well light bar inside and plenty of room. Don't know if waitress comes to tables, we had to go up to the bar to ask for a menu and place orders. I would have given them 4 stars but the service just was not there. Slow, Slow, Slow, service. Seriously I think we could have killed and cooked our own food faster. Food came out cold, never got drink re-fills. Checks were wrong not once but twice. Got there a little after 6 and didn't get out of there till after 9 ( not by choice). read more

This place is aweful! The bathrooms are always filthy (and they are tiny) and the bartenders only pay attention to you if you are a regular. The drinks are mediocre at best but they do have good bands. I would rather pay more for my drinks to be made right than wait forever for a terrible cheap drink! read more

Worst experience of my life. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Not hard to mess up. I was with my boyfriend and his family for this meal. My boyfriend and his sisters meals were messed up. My boyfriends parents meals were not as described on the menu. After having to send all of our food back, it finally came out correctly and we were able to eat. The cheeseburger was delicious, even though it was kid size. The fries looked like they've been sitting out since yesterday, all browns and dried out. Took about 10 more minutes to get some new ones and when I did get them, I got half the amount I started with. So, needless to say, I'm still hungry. Starving actually. Now I need to go somewhere else to get food. read more

This is the best bar on the lake by far! Not only is the crowd very friendly, and always keeping the party alive, but the staff is also on their game! If you are craving chicken wings I recommend coming out to enjoy the best wings on the lake each Thursday for only 50 cents! This could be a super fun place - great atmosphere- they even had a fun live band - but the service is horrible. We had a party of 9 and sat outside. We waited and waited for a server who walked by us a few times. There was one other table in the entire restaurant. Food was good but again waited a long time. Really if someone could manage this place it would be great! read more

Never again will I even consider stepping foot in Bayview pub. My husband and I met my daughter and a friend there last night for dinner a few minutes after 6. The waitress came and took our orders. Ten minutes later she brought out my daughters food and her friends food. An hour and a half later we flagged her down and asked if our food was ever coming. She said she would check on it. Needless to say when she came back we were informed the kitchen hadn't even started our food yet. We just told her to cancel the order and left. We drove all the way back to Celina, ate at KFC, drove home and my daughter then texted that the waitress had just come to the table and said they were starting our food...where were we?????? Really????? All 4 orders went in on the same ticket but 2 orders(both sandwiches) took over 2 additional hours to make???? I recommend avoiding this place unless you have the entire weekend to wait for your food...oh yeah and definitely eat before you go.... read more
