They took good care, and they have a nice waiting area with a water cooler. These days, one sits outside in the shade. GREAT, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE! After calling to make an appointment for October 7th, 2020 (During the Covid-19 pandemic), I took my mom's 2010 Honda Civic in for a smog check. When I arrived, I was seen immediately. Every precaution was taken (mask, open windows, social distancing, etc.). The young man helping me noticed that the tire light was on, so without my asking, he checked all the tires and added air to the appropriate level. I waited outside (by choice- there was also an indoor waiting area as well) for no more than 20-30 minutes, and I believe I paid $43 cash. (they accept CC, touch pay, and cash). Thank you! He was very gracious and told me he could fit me in but I may have to wait 20 minutes. I was in and out within a half hour! His wonderful customer service will keep me coming back! The company that I normally go to for smog checks just hired a new manager and raised their prices--a lot! So, to Yelp I go for reviews and pricing. I asked for a price through Yelp and received a quick reply with a good price. I checked Bayside Smog's reviews on Yelp and found a couple of negative reviews that turned out to be obviously fake. (Did you know that you can earn $ writing fake reviews on Yelp?) I made an appointment and showed up on time. I was greeted quickly and handed paperwork to sign while my truck was taken in for the smog check. The price was what I was quoted on line. I was even offered donuts! The truck passed and I paid and was out of there in 10 minutes! While there, another customer came in early for his appointment and was also greeted quickly and was told that there was an appointment ahead of him that had not checked in yet. They give a 5-minute grace period. I think that is fair. I highly recommend this business! Good, honest people! read more

Went to a smog place across the street that I had gone to before. Sign lit on door said open but the gates closed and bay was dark. Left for gym, went back and hour and a half later and still closed. If I could give 10 stars I would. I chose them because of their rating. I had difficulty finding (dang Google maps) and was at least 20 minutes late. When I got there I didn't detect one ounce of impatience. As a matter of fact they were so gracious and accommodating. There's a lot to be said for a business that treats their customers well; my experience was exceptional from the moment I called to make an appointment, to my experience once I got there. I came from another smog business, where the employee was not wearing a mask during the Shelter in Place. The employee I worked with at Bayside Smog wore a mask and politely asked me to wait outside to avoid crowding the small office. When I asked him how long he thought it would take to smog my car he said 15 minutes. It was faster than that, and he was polite and helpful throughout. Great place! Great service! read more

This place is the least expensive in town, service was outstanding! In and out in 15 minutes, my car failed due to modifications, I corrected took it back and it passed. All for a total of 42 dollars! The service tech is honest and quick, don't know why you would smog a car at any other shop in concord, worth the drive even if your 30 minutes away! read more
