When I am in the area this is my go to for a delicious lobster roll and clam boil. The portions are on point. The staff is always friendly, a great little neighborhood bar, full bar, live music and keno.

Got take-out, 1st time having food from there. Very impressed. Very yummy. And with the whole curb-side pick-up because of the pandemic it was very easy. Called to place order, pulled up, they brought it out, paid & that was it ... drove home & pigged out. We'll definitely get food from there again.

This place have a very great friendly hometown feeling. The servers are inviting and happy and the food is very good every time we come here. They always have something going on like entertainment on the weekend and other things during the week like food specials. It's a fun and comfortable place to hangout...

    Best lobster roll this season!

A dive bar for sure but the food was good, drinks were cheap and they had good music playing. Our first time but won't be our last.

They have a New menu out now, and the food is really good. The guy in the kitchen is probably the most handsome man I've seen. Ever.

I had my eye on the garlic prime rib special, which I enjoyed with mashed taters and pickled beets. My starter was the thick clam chowder along with rolls and dipping oil. My friend had the eggplant parm, which she gave high marks to. I had a 40 minute drive home or I'd have ordered the blueberry martini or any number of signature cocktails that struck my fancy. Next time! This is a place frequented by numerous locals and the bartender seemed to know everyone by name! The menu is extensive from bar pizza to seafood to hearty sandwiches. I'll definitely be back again when I'm in the area.

It started to go wrong when the waitress pushed the hot plate into my arm to get it in front of me. I didn't know she was there. I think I was turned looking into my handbag. Instead of saying excuse me, she just pushed it into my arm. Are you serious?? She was holding the plate with a towel. No smile. No you're welcome when told thank you. I was a waitress. I understand the job. She does not. The final blow was when someone in my party started choking. I jumped up and said help. No one came over. My waitress did not come over. She saw. A young bus girl was the only person possessing a brain and empathy. The person who had been choking ran to the men's room. No one from the restaurant approached or asked him if he was ok. Do better. Your establishment has a responsibility to be prepared and have a plan for a crisis like I have described. I don't need to spend over $100 to be treated poorly by an angry waitress. I always tip well. Even if the service might not be the best because I've been there and a waitress doesn't always have control over everything. You're lucky you got any kind of a tip from me! I won't be going back to Mike's even with the great food.

She said it was delicious! I had a basic breakfast sandwich with a side of hollandaise. So tasty! We eat had breakfast and a drink and it was $20 for everything. What a steal! Dunkin is more expensive for breakfast! There was a ton of seating, but it was rather busy for a Wednesday morning! Food was out quickly and was hot! Loved that! Our server was super nice, i wish i had asked for her name! It looked like there wasn't a ton of parking, but there is also an additional lot around back and street parking if needed by chance! What a cute spot! I have to come back and try more items---they have some really yummy sounding French toasts!

We made a reservation and seated as soon as we got there. The host is very nice. The menu is great. I liked that they had lattes on the menu and not just regular coffee. Although, we had both. The latte was small, but very good. I ordered the breakfast tacos without me and substituted the mozzarella for cheddar cheese. I got three pretty good sized tacos. That were really good, not a ton of flavor, but they were definitely fresh. We also got an order of the PB&J stuffed French toast, which was absolutely delicious. The peanut butter was warm inside and the French toast was cooked perfectly. We got a blueberry pancake for the table because they have homemade blueberry butter. That was absolutely delicious. No syrup needed! Overall, I really enjoyed the food, and the place was very cute inside. The bathroom was a little rundown and only had one working stall, but other than that it's definitely five stars. We will be back.

I was escorted to my table and was soon greeted by my waiter Ethan who brought bread and the menus. Bread was just mini white loafs, exceptional only for its absolute freshness. So many places have done away with table bread so this was very much appreciated, but it was way too much for a single diner. The mostly Portuguese menu had much to choose from. I got the Pasteis de Bacalhau appetizer (codfish cakes). The 8 small-sized cakes had a subtly crisp golden brown exterior and a filling that was light in both texture and flavor - less salt cod than in some others would be my guess. This was served with banana peppers and black olives over a bit of lettuce. I liked them but felt a sauce of some sort would have elevated them. I used Red Hot from the table. The entree section was very heavy on the meats, particularly steaks of which there were 8, sirloin, shish ka bob, filet, and t-bone, prepared in a variety of ways. I didn't want a steak and, being in a Portuguese restaurant I wanted something more obviously Portuguese. So I went to the seafood section which was also extensive and found Swordfish Alhinho Style. I asked Ethan about it who replied confidently and correctly that it was a lemony sauce made with a lot of garlic and it is served over the fish which is grilled. Which was exactly correct. He was a great waiter in all respects. The dish was the swordfish, boiled halved potatoes, and broccoli. The fish was generously covered with the lemony garlicky gravy, the garlic in large chunks making up maybe 1/2 of the volume. There was plenty enough left over for the potatoes, which I liked for being just boiled and sliced, not mashed. The only flaw was the broccoli. I'm not sure but it tasted frozen, not fresh. That's a shame because there was a lot of it but it wasn't worth eating. So both the appetizer and entree were very good, and representative of Portuguese cuisine. Not innovative or special in any way but this isn't that kind of restaurant. It's upscale but not "fine dining". You can see that in the table settings too: the napkins are white cloth but the placemats are the paper kind with advertisements on them. But it was a nice atmosphere in spite of the Keno machine and many televisions, and the noise level was moderate. The cocktails used mostly standard brands like Bacardi and Stoli, with a few unusual liqueurs added in. I had a Portuguese Cha Frio (Iced Tea) made with Stoli Citron, Licor Beirao (a Portuguese liqueur), unsweetened tea, and lemon. I liked it and it seemed strong enough. The wine list included a few Portuguese ones by the glass. I didn't think my wine very good but I wanted to stick to the Portuguese theme as much as possible. I liked that it was brought in a carafe that still had some left over after Ethan poured my first glass. The espresso was perfect. No disagreeable sour notes, just pleasantly and slightly bitter, an aroma slightly fruity. As for desserts, I don't think they are made in house, and they aren't particularly Portuguese. My cheesecake (was it Crème Brûlée flavor?) was good, with a semi-dry texture, a layer of caramel on top, and a drizzle of something underneath. So overall I was pretty satisfied with Nuno's. 4.5 stars really. To get that 5th star from me they'd only have to improve the broccoli and add ethnic desserts made in house.
