We have been to the Bayside only once before since it's a bit of a drive. Our young server was very nice and incredibly patient. My brother has a tendency to ask too many questions, and I feel like several people were asking for things all at one time. Oh and there was a good 7-10 minutes where our little Norman was screaming his head off. ANYWAY, everyone really enjoyed their food and 4/7 were non vegans. My brother stole one of Norman's chicken nuggets and thought it was just like chicken. I had the yo egg burger which was really good. I had never had the yo egg. The "yolk" popped just like a real egg but waaaay less gross and way more cruelty free. The fries are really good. So good in fact, I had no intention of eating all of them and did. The owner was really sweet dispite the fact I interrupted her to ask a question. I hope the Bayside finds a location closer to the eastside...........that would be cool. read more

Best vegan comfort food we have ever had! The atmosphere is so cool and the staff is amazing! Everything including the bathrooms were clean and in order. Let's start with the lack of any street appeal. It took guts just to go in. Go in and it is the same dark gloomy look. More like an old nasty nightclub. Finally stopped here with my vegetarian 10 year old yesterday. We both raved so much about our meals (primarily to each other, as we were on a road trip) that we stopped on the way back today too! Update: We finally went to their new location after planning to for weeks. Completely solid and I couldn't ask for anything more. Their food is amazing and as I said in my original review, neither me or my wife are vegan but we happily will support a local business that not only makes great food but also gives great service. Personally I'm one of the few that prefers Pepsi to Coke and they have Pepsi! I tried my first Beyond sausage at our last visit and it was awesome!
