Tried Bayou Bao for the first time and it didn't disappoint. We had:
* Baozi - Steamed and stuffed right. The texture was soft and pillowy with a solid filling. Pretty good, though not the star of the show.
* Korean Fried Chicken Gua Bao - Hands down the best of the bunch. Spicy, crispy, and balanced with fresh toppings. Could eat two or three of these without blinking.
* Pork Belly Gua Bao - Tender and flavorful pork. Only knock: the crushed peanuts on top were a little heavy-handed and distracted from the meat. Still good, just not as balanced as the chicken.
Food came out hot and fresh, despite them being slammed at Parish Brewery. I'll definitely be back for that chicken bao read more
