Nice little spot. We order our food, got it and ate it in under 30 minutes we got there a little early so they weren't as busy but the guy behind the counter was very helpful as I am from out of town. Would recommend. Photos is what remains of my lunch that I'm taking home.

I went back to this gem of a restaurant to see if it was as cold for dinner as it was for lunch last time I was in town. The answer is definitely yes. I started with some pan fried dumplings which were delicious. My Hawaiian shrimp were cooked perfectly, the rice was steamed just like I like it, the veggies were good and the miso soup was perfect. I definitely recommend Hawaii Grill.

Food was delicious and service was great! Very clean restaurant and relaxing atmosphere. I had the hibachi steak and shrimp with fried rice and vegetable soup. 10/10

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to eat and Hawaii Grill popped up, it had a 5 star rating and I was like I must try this, sure enough, it was definitely worth it. When I first walked in I immediately noticed the decorations, there were Tikis and pineapples everywhere. The food is fast, delicious and priced well. I ordered Pan Fried Dumplings, Hawaiian Shrimp with noodles and veggies, it came with broccoli, carrots, along with some pineapples. Everything was delicious, especially the shrimp. Overall this place is a 10/10 definitely would suggest it to others and definitely would go again! (The picture is a screenshot from my girlfriend's recording of the food)

We've been meaning to come for a long time. As soon as we walked in the Ambiance was very nice, serene. The music and lights are low at 7 pm and the menu looks great! Did I mention how freaking fabulous the Fried egg rolls are and the Hawaiian Chicken!!!! read more

There isn't much service since you checkout like fast food at the counter. However, they do bring the food out to you, and the staff were very nice. The ambiance was nice. Music was really good. The food was really really good. My only negative is I wish there was a bit more of the protein you choose. For almost $50 for 2 people we left still hungry. We did have an appetizer as well. Not a huge bummer. Just being greedy maybe. All in all, very good. read more

The food is always really good. But the girls behind the counter tonight need to be spoken to about their behavior. I walked in and the girl at the register looked at me and nudged the girl who couldn't see me yet and she peeked around the wall at me and they both started laughing. Although not traditional Hawaiian or Japanese food per se it is the best Asian Food being served in Lafayette at this time. Wonderful grilled pineapple served with each entree. Generous portions. Very disappointing:( These folks were great in New Iberia but here in Laffy they cannot get their orders right. And when you call Keagan offers no help what so ever. What can you do to fix it? I ordered through doo dash. Well they can do nothing but offered the right item that we would have to pick up. Point, we could not pick up we ordered door dash. Wish Angela was there. I don't know why this place is called Hawaii Grill they don't serve any dish that I have ever seen at a Hawaiian restaurant. It's all just plain Asian American style take out but they throw pineapple in a couple dishes. If you don't have Katsu, Spam Musubi, Kalua Pork, Loco Moco, or not even Macaroni Salad for a side, it isn't a Hawaiian place in my opinion. I was super bummed when I saw the menu and it didn't have one Hawaiian dish. read more

When I saw Hawaiian Grill, I was really happy but upon going there and looking at the menu, there is not one straight up Hawaiian dish. No Kalua pork, no Siamin or Lau Lau. I ended up ordering the shrimp soup and it was ok! The name is misleading, it should of been Asian Fusion but definitely not Hawaiian Grill. We need a L&L Hawaiian BBQ here in Lafayette, LA really bad because it is straight Hawaiian food. read more

Let me start by saying the flavor of the food is great but not sure if it fits the name and the type of food it implies. The hawaian chicken was good sweet salty and tender. Rice and veggies great flavor. But not sure if it is Hawaiian taste a resembles a Chinese menu. Every Hawaiian menu I have ever seen has macaroni salad, katsu and definitely Loco Moco and they have none of this. All in all food isn't bad but it is typical of all the quick Chinese food that we have all around town nothing new like I hoped for. A missed opportunity for something new to the area. read more

Is on Amb Caffery behind Jason Deli! It is absolutely awesome! The employees are so friendly it feels like a home atmosphere! Love love the food, always hot and are so delicious! What are the best things about Hawaii Grill ... let me count the ways I love this place. It's CLEAN. I mean they keep it REALLY clean. The staff are not just friendly, they are awesome. The decor is authentic to their theme. The food is fresh, hot and tasty. This is not the type of Asian cuisine where you get hard mystery meat bits. If you like your meal prepared just for you and guaranteed delicious, then stop by Hawaii Grill. If you don't, there are plenty of mediocre Asian restaurants in Lafayette. Ate here between errands on a popular "romantic holiday' in February. Compared to the Cajun place next door they were pretty slow and quiet, but that was perfect for us. The food was good, hot, and fast. Fried rice and noodles were decent, but not amazing. We both loved the pan fried dumplings and our entrees (bourbon chicken and Hawaii chicken). Service was friendly and personalized. We typically try new to us places when in Lafayette, but wouldn't mind trying this one again if the opportunity arose. read more

Tried this place today with 3 others and we were all very pleased with the food and service. The service was quick and the servers were very friendly and helpful. An employee saw me fanning myself bc I was a lil warm and adjusted the temperature! Also, I found the prices to be very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back. Tried out for the first time tonight. I was very pleasantly surprised to say the least. The spicy Salmon was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of heat. Husband had the Hawaii Steak Spicy and it was also really tasty. Kids meal portion is huge. The restaurant is very clean. The service was impeccable as well. So helpful and friendly. This little paradise was the most unexpected delight I've had in a while! The aura is amazing and the decorations are adorable! (Luau themed of course;) the service is incredible and fast, I love everyone who works here. Their prices are also incredibly low, with great lunch specials on some delicious fusion food. I'd never tried Hawaiian food before, but this fusion of Japanese and Hawaiian was the most delectable creation I've ever put in my mouth!
