WE payed to stay there and that includes our use of coffee creamer. If guests need more creamer than it is HER JOB to go get more and refill it, NOT scold the guests for using what is our preference. SHE works for US, NOT the other way around. This needs to be addressed.

Decorated fine and had all the necessary items, including a mini fridge and microwave. The king size bed was comfy too. The hallways had kinda a strange odor, almost like smoke. There was also a dog on the first floor even though pets aren't allowed. I saw it running in the hallway. The breakfast was self service and I was satisfied with it. I was there four mornings and they had same items every time. I enjoyed making my own waffle and the scrambled eggs were good. The sausage was nasty. They also had pastries, cereal, yogurt, fresh bananas and apples, coffee and two juices. I tried to use the indoor heated pool but it was way too cold for me. Another big disappointment. It was also right off the lobby which was odd. But I suppose they want to be able to see what's going on and that people are safe. For the price or a quick one night stay, this might be the place for you. I would try somewhere else if I ever came back to the area.

The first thing we're told is that there aren't any roll away beds left. To compensate, they're waiving the $20 pet fee. That's all good and great, but now three people will have to share one bed. The room is dirty - questionable stains on the lower mattress cover, mold on the shower curtain, cobwebs in the corner of the shower, shredded chair/disgusting carpet, and the whole room reeks of stale cigarette smoke. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The only reason we're staying here is because we're in town for a wedding and a block of rooms was reserved for the wedding guests. Never, ever again. The only positive is that it's pet friendly and there's a nice area for the dogs to run.

We were not aware you need an actual key to exit the parking garage. I was using my phone as a key. Your phone won't open the gate. My husband ran into the lobby to grab a key, and was met with instant attitude. Programming a key is hard work I guess...let's go to Saturday morning. The hotel puts on a beautiful breakfast. My sister in law wanted iced coffee, so she brought a hotel provided cup to the bar and asked for ice. Again, was met with an attitude from the same worker. Was told she can get ice on floors 2,4, and 6. Again, i guess giving a guest some ice is rough work. Sunday she made sure to bring her own bucket of ice down to breakfast. Now let's go to the bar. My in laws went to the bar and asked for a manhattan. Guess who's bartending? Little miss attitude! Instead of nicely explaining the cocktails are premade, and they don't have manhattans, she went on a rant about how she's supposed to run the front desk, make food, and drinks, and coffee, and do it all herself. In my opinion, this lady should not be the face of your hotel. Doing her job is too much to ask from her. She ruined our experience, and next time we come to Lansing, we will look for a different hotel where we don't feel like a nuisance to someone that's supposed to be hospitable to your guests. A a result, I noticed some people putting their trash outside of the door to their rooms. I had a standard double queen. There were no issues with cleanliness, and the room met general expectations for what you want need. The only problem was the noise factor. The people were quiet, but the air vents made a whistling sound. My room was on the back side of the hotel, which was right against the highway, so I heard the cars going by all night. If you aren't a light sleeper, there are no issues with this hotel. I didn't have time in the morning to eat breakfast, but it looked good, and the apple I grabbed tied me over to lunch.

On the second night, the same group was gathered outside the hotel entrance as we returned. People are having sex in their vehicles. Their presence made the environment feel unsettling. I brought my concerns to the front desk, and the employee acknowledged that these individuals are frequently in the area around this hotel and the neighboring hotels. I checked out early because of these issues. While I appreciated the honesty, I was disappointed that there didn't seem to be any effort to address the situation or reassure guests about their safety. A hotel should provide guests with a secure and welcoming environment from the moment they arrive until they leave. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. I hope management takes steps to improve security and create a safer atmosphere for future guests.

Although he was low in stock and didn't have my beer nor did he have french fries so he made tater tots crispy and made three different types of dips for my tater tots and made a really good chicken bacon sandwich for me. I just can't complain about him or the meal he cooked, I'm very grateful.
