Lori, the inn keeper, replied promptly to my emails when I was inquiring about the rooms they had available. We chose a suite and it was perfect for a romantic getaway. Loved the hot tub in our room and the beautiful sleigh bed. There is a private balcony off the room but it was January so we just looked out the windows to see the grounds. I understand they have beautiful gardens and walking paths in this 26 acre paradise. The home was still beautifully decorated for Christmas so that was a treat. Lori made a made delicious breakfast in the morning too. We had enjoyable stay and would stay here again.

As for the hotel- the lobby and dining area was nicely done, but tiny. They have free breakfast every morning and the food was decent. They also have a room for watching a movie on the bigger screen TV. The coolest part is the pool which is in a separate building outside lobby. Indoor, heated and large enough for many to attend. It looks fairly new and clean. The yard had outdoor patio seating AND grills for cooking some BBQ. As for the gym, it was disappointing... can't win 'em all. The rooms I felt like were outdated. Maybe some new carpeting and cabinetry would spruce it up a bit. Also, did not feel like it was super clean.

Connie was very helpful and always quick to respond to any questions I had during the event planning process. We also had the bonus of beautiful weather that da so our group was able to enjoy lunch outside on the patio. That was a fun change of pace from our typical meeting lunch breaks. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh. Al even showed us around a bit before we left. We will definitely be back to stay again.
