We booked our room through the best western. I called the hotel directly before I called the reservation desk. the hotel told me $145 for a single king for 2 adults for one night. The reservation desk told me 89.95. The reservation desk told me that they would send a confirmation email. I never received that. The reservation desk also told me that they would have a full hot breakfast. Was it a breakfast- Yes. Was it a full hot breakfast - No. When we checked in, the guy at the front desk told usnit was still going to be a bagged breakfast. It wasn't quite that bad, but it was enough to hold us until lunch. The list of food available when we were here is at the end of this review.
As far as our room. It needs some updates. They (housekeepers) need to be more careful about leaving hangers out where you'll hit your head on them. I whacked my head on a hanger when I walked in the door. NOT HAPPY. After a few choice words , I made sure I wasn't bleeding. I found some meds and took them for my massive headache.
The room was roomy enough for a king room. Nice seating area with a chair that is as hard as a brick. I always go through and check all my beds for bugs, and I will say that we did NOT have any. Although I really hated disassembling the entire bed because they have a zip-up mattress cover on the beds. I loathe those. They harbor funky stuff.. but I am glad I looked anyway.
Decor was alright could do with some paintings or something. The lampshade was broken or cracked in places. I could have been turned instead of in your face. Along with the patch job in the celing in the bathroon, which looked like they had a major leak at some point.
Also, someone should fix the toilet seat. It was all wonkey when we got in there, and it was hard to keep center while seated.
I am 5'5, and I could have used a step stool to crwal into bed. They are quite high. Anyone shorter than me may have some difficulty or anyone with any kind of disability my need more help.
If you are sensitive to light, bring a mask. I will say that having a 'built-in night light' was nice. However, I wish it was somewhere else or in the bathroom instead.
It was easy enough to get in and out of the hotel. The drive could be better lit as it just looks like a dark country road. But it was far enough from the highway that you didn't hear the highway traffic.
