(There are non-alcoholic beverages at the vendors but you have to BYOB.) I ordered 3 lbs of spicy crawfish with mushrooms and spicy garlic butter. The crawfish were decently sized, perfectly boiled and the spice was on point! Really liked the extra kick of the dipping sauce. These were some of the best crawfish I've had. Also started with an order if tequenos which are miniature cheese sticks fried in pastry form. They were tasty with a nice cheese pull. Kind of like a mozzerella stick but thicker which is a good thing. The special hot dog was LOADED with things including potato crisps, fried egg, bacon, sauces, and shredded cabbage. I expected it to be messy but surprisingly held up well. Not to mention the taste was fire. Also only $6.99 which is such a bargain compared to other hot dog spots. This will definitely be on the rotation when I'm visiting this food truck Mecca off Gosling road. Cause all you need is a bite and some sauce!

Seeing the word "Pizza", my attention was caught as I placed an order for a especial pizza pastelito; also added a potato/cheese empanada and a nutella pastelito. After getting the goods, I dug in. First the pizza pastelito, it's just mozzerella, some bland pizza sauce, a bit of pesto, and some chewy salami and pepperoni. Cheese was melted but the texture and taste left more to be desired sadly. Not much flavor within my taste buds. The potato/cheese empanada had a similar taste profile: lacking flavor. The green sauce helps which was the only saving grace. The nutella pastelito was the best of the bunch with that savory hot nutella on the pastelito that ozzes out when you bite it. There's also some on top for a sweet taste. Probably should've ordered other items such as the tequenos, pastels, and either the ground beef or chicken classic pastelito. With all the other trucks around, probably will venture to those next time instead of here.

Yes, it's another Venezuelan food option but the eats just keep kicking with street goodies such as the arepas, empanadas, hot dogs, and burgers. Going a bit light, I went with the mushroom and cheese arepa and a shredded chicken empanada. The arepa had the right texture with the melted cheese and light crisp of the shell. The empanada was alright, similar to other empanadas I've had although I liked the golden brown color. My friend ordered the Pepi Primos sandwich which was stuffed with goodness beef, cheese, cabbage, dressing, onions, etc. A messy sandwich but he scarfed it down. like there was no tomorrow. I was going to order the herb roast chicken, but they were sold out. The owner said he'd make me a chicken breast with mashed potatoes and veggies instead. When it was ready after about 8 minutes, I got it and went home and gave it to my wife. She was unhappy that I had gotten her chicken breast (she is a picky eater), but she decided to try it. After her first bite, she went "holy s#%*, this is amazing" and "this guy can cook". I then tried it and agreed that it was amazing. It was not what I was expecting from a food truck. I am willing to bet that the owner has worked in the kitchens of very high en, fine dining establishments and/or was professionally trained. It takes skill to put out a chicken breast like I got tonight. I highly recommend Atos and will be back soon.

We got a to go order from them the other night--a steak picanha platter with grilled corn and veggie kabobs, and a burger with fries. The steak is amazing. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium but I have no complaint as it was tender and flavorful. The meat is well seasoned and finished with rock salt, and absolutely delicious. The grilled corn was tasty with a nice char, though the kernels were very tiny. The vegetables were great, particularly with their chimichurri sauce which also has great depth of flavor. The burger comes with all the trimmings, including bacon and avocado. It was a good one, tender and with great flavor. The one disappointment of the meal was the fries. They were soggy, the grease had soaked in. I don't think this was due to the meal being to go--the fries were either cooked in old oil or not cooked twice (gotta cook 'em twice to be crisp). The meat is cooked on a wood-fired pit. They have sausage and pork as well. The in-person presentation is fancy, a very nice hot platter for the food. The to go presentation is not bad either, they use quality containers that keep the food from being crushed. The price will set you back--a picanha for one is $16. It's in line with the quality. The truck is run by a family and they are very enthusiastic. If you're looking for a high-end open-air experience you'll get it here.

The other day I stopped in for lunch and had the Pabellon Criollo, which I believe is their signature dish. I had the beef version--some "pulled" beef, fried plantains, white rice, and black beans. The highlight for me was the fried plantains--they had a nice crust on them that brought out the sweet flavor. But Pabellon has no sauce, and I found it kind of dry. For those of you who don't like sauce, and I know you're out there, this would be something to try. We've also had the burger and it's quite good--the mushroom burger had a generous helping of mushrooms and great flavor. So I'd definitely get a burger next time around, or branch out for the empanadas. I would have had a dessert, but they didn't offer them the day I was in the mood for that.
