The pani puri was good - especially the imli chutney. The "pani" had a nice flavor but the chutney really took it to the next level. I do wish that there was a little more filling inside the puris but overall it was good. The samosa chat was very good. I would say 8/10. But the star of the show was the masala fries. There were two different types of masala on top and they really made you feel like you were back "home" having these from the street vendors. They were crispy on the outside and just melted in your mouth delicious on the inside. The contrasting flavors of the two different powders on top really made it magical in your mouth. Like the fries were so good we got a second order. When I placed the second order of the fries, I also got a chai. The owner/worker is so nice that he asked me how I wanted the chai i.e. strong/sweet/etc. It took a while for them to bring it out which means that it was made to order and it tasted fantastic! Their Masala Fries (an appetizer), however, were absolutely incredible! I haven't had fries like this before and the crunch fries paired with the assorted sauce combination was so delicious. The yellow rice was a very nice complement to the dish, which is good because there was plenty of it. There were a few triangles of pita bread which were OK but kind of an afterthought. It was delicious cream with just a hint of a spice I can't quite place--not quite vanilla, maybe something from Indian sweets? In any case it made the item stand out. Picked up dinner last night- great service! Ordered Gobi Manchurian, Szechuan Hakka Noodles, Paneer Methi Malai, Chaap Curry, Jeera Rice, and Masala Soda. Food was good (Punjabi, which we love), but not spectacular - quite oily as the photos show, and Methi Malai, though tasty, was a bit too sweet. And, quite pricey! $13-15+ for relatively small quantities served. Probably spent close to $100 for the above, including tips and taxes! All in all, been wanting to visit since the establishment started - quite popular, especially nights and weekends - so be prepared to wait 20-25 mins as food is cooked freshly.
