The team started the removal on Tuesday but had to leave after 3 panels die to very high winds. I have a 2nd story steep slope roof so is was not safe for the crew. Sarah was very professional rescheduled a crew for Wednesday. Of course it was pouring when they arrived but the wind was not a factor. They removed the 28 panels but had to leave the roof mounts in. If removed I would have leaks all over my 2nd story of my house. Daddario roofing is scheduled for Monday to remove the roof and again Sarah came through. Sarah had a team out Friday morning to remove the roof mounts and we are good to go. Sarah did a amazing job of rescheduling 2 different crews that I am sure were already scheduled to get my job on time. Great work by all!

When I first inquired, Tim (the owner) reached out and scheduled a consultation/evaluation of my existing system for the following day. He arrived on time, was professional and very knowledgeable. He sent me over a couple different proposals that he believed would be best for me and my usage. I reached out to competing companies to test the market and one company found out that I was on a different NEM standard than we previously thought. This discovery made me second guess getting solar for the time being. I reached out to Tim and he said that he estimated I would still need to upgrade but that I could give it a few months to see how my energy bills were in the winter and early spring. To say he was right was an understatement! My bills went from $60 to over $300 some months. Now that I knew that adding to my system was worth it and had more information, I reached back out to Tim. He didn't miss a beat in suggesting a system that maximized my output and didn't break the bank. (Mind you, he spent hours going back and forth with me answering questions and concerns I had) Ultimately, I chose to go with Tim because of his expertise (he was an electrician prior to starting Golden State Solar), professionalism, customer service and honesty. Because of the good experience I had with having Clean Solar install panels at my house I reached out to them to see if they would service panels installed by another, and thankfully they accepted the job. After some back and forth with their customer support, they remotely assessed that the inverter failed and they would install a new one for a reasonable price. Clean Solar employee Jose arrived early for the install and he was very polite and relatable. He replaced the inverter and did not leave until he made sure that the system was back up and running and production was being reported in the app. I recommend Clean Solar to anyone needing their panels serviced or to install a new system. Jose is an excellent employee and my mom had a great experience working with him.

However when 1 person is acting unprofessional, crossing the line, asking homeowners to borrow a usb cable to charge their cell phone, super loud, tries to impress (why), doesn't listen to clients (would walk away in mid conversation), act as if he is the owner of the company, talks way too much (not in a good way), talking about his side hustle business, a bit juvenile, not completing and complaining about the job in front of clients plus not showing up when he said he would to complete the job, leaving tools at the site and asking the homeowners to put it in their garage until he returns to pick it up, calls in sick last minute leaving the load to other team members plus more well then this becomes a problem and 0 stars (if possible) especially the amount of money you invest into this project. We also requested that this person not show up again but they kept sending him back. At the end of the project half of the Tesla walls were connected and working but the other half wasn't connecting. At one point our bedrooms electricity didn't work, it wasn't the breakers and Nick was awesome enough to take our after hours call and help us manually override those other 2 disconnected wall panels. The dream team (Nick, Kevin and Albert) resolved the connection and all is working now. Also, Nick stayed late to make sure our Tesla walls were configured and updated properly. Plus , a shout out to Jeremy for staying late as well to help fix a broken issue. Feedback: Organize a team that works well together to effectively complete the project. Provide sexual harassment training (this is excluding people listed here). If a female client doesn't feel comfortable with a person don't resend them back. The consultation with Grant was quite expert: he assessed that our house in a forest would get plenty of sun, and he was right. He also suggested we try a single battery before spending for two. He was right about that. Jonathan (and his electrician skills) was a known quantity to us, and he performed perfectly on our installation. The system served us well for nearly a year. Then the 3-day outage over Christmas proved the wizardry of the Tesla StormWatch system, - we never stumbled around in the dark of shuddered in the cold like many of our neighbors with no system. Carmel is infamous for frequent outages, ranging from 10 minutes to 3 days and more. This system eliminates the anxiety and discomfort of living with that. When I had a question today about Tesla Settings, Jonathan took my first call. And his routing us to the patient and intrepid Melody at GFSE HQ sorted it all out. That was two professionals who answered the phone on the first call, late on a Friday afternoon on New Years weekend. When was the last time you had that experience? There are many vendors in the solar/battery space. They may all be OK, but I wouldn't bet on it. The delta in cost from other bidders is trivial. I am certain that BFSE is run with top talent and integrity.

On one occasion Bright Future contacted us to tell us something was wrong with our battery. Bright Future found that the battery was failing. They replaced the battery without charging us a penny. Several times we had electrical issues from PGE surges and other electrical issues. In every case Bright Future came to the rescue. The staff of Bright Future, from the office staff routing calls to the owner always try to be helpful before they say no to a request. And they have never said no to a request. Bright Future provides the best customer service with extraordinary expertise I have ever seen. I can not recommend them any more highly. The best.
