    Chicken Biryani

My fiend and I ordered here for lunch through Doordash. Pre-order was available so we chose the first time available, 12:10. The delivery guy came at 12:09 and I was excited hoping this was the start of a really good experience. It definitely was. We ordered the Chicken Biryani which came with a lot of food. It had a good flavor with just enough spice. Same with the Chicken Tikka Masala. I appreciated the fact that there was enough sauce to cover all of the rice they provided. They also portioned out a good amount of chicken for the serving size. We also got the Garlic & Cheese Naan which was very soft and not overpowering with the garlic. Last we got a veggie samosa. We only ordered 1 but it was big enough to split. Especially since we already had more than enough food. The prices were decent and the food was really good. While trying to figure out what to order it was weird seeing so many different types of food. There was Indian, American, and even Chinese options. Definitely didn't expect that. I will recommend checking this place out.

My husband and I were driving down Broadway.on our way to the Broadway Market when we saw the sign for the Bayleaf. Not sure what type of food but our interest was piqued. We did a u turn and parked in the lot and walked in. The outside is nothing to write home about but man o man am I glad we stopped. We had the curry special. They have many types of curry We had the lamb curry. Comes with Nan and a good portion of delicious rice. We also split the 2 piece fried chicken. The lamb was bone in. It was hot , well spiced The gravy was too die for. So smooth and well spiced also. The rice was buttery goodness itself. The Nan was plentiful. The fried chicken was a leg and thigh. The coating was crispy and light. The chicken was fresh out of the fryer. It was not greasy. We will be back. We saw the gyro which was enormous with fries on the top with a white sauce. I asked the gentleman that ordered it if it was as good as it looked. He said better. It his go to when he comes. We are going try that next time.

If this rating was based on pure taste and taste alone, I would have definitely given this place a 5 star. However it's ambience is not really ideal for dining-in. We have had large parties where we ordered food from this place. Simply because our crowd loves Bengali food. So if you are looking for authentic bangladeshi taste and you don't care about ambience then this is definitely a place to go. I don't blame the owners of the restaurant for not investing in the looks of it. They have had people calling over, ordering food and then not showing up. You will see a list right of black-listed phone numbers next to the counter.

Delicious! Chicken lollipops were super tasty... Indian barbecue meets buffalo wings! Uber Eats delivered. Yummy.

I had high expectations for this restaurant but I was disappointed. The beef seekh kebab was on the bland side and seemed sweet. The goat haleem had a strong garam masala flavor but was pretty good when you add lemon. The daal was good - basic daal that tasted authentic. The mango lassi was not good - very thin and not very flavorful.

Naked City Pizza - 3 cheese steak

    Naked City Pizza

    (33 reviews)

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

Wow. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

They've dabbled with a stuffed hot pepper pizza back in 2024 as a "Pizza of the Month" and it was excellent! For their November 2025 "Pizza of the Month", they're serving up their take on a steak pizza, FINALLY! Overall, this was a solid first attempt! On a Saturday, around 4:45pm, I placed my order for pickup, albeit it took quite a few attempts to call as their phone line kept returning as "busy". Once I got through though, I was able to place my order and was told it'd be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived about 20 minutes later and had to wait a couple minutes as it needed a couple more minutes to cook - Fine by me! The gentleman on the phone and working the counter was courteous and very friendly, easy-going. As we were chatting, he told me he was the one that came up with the November 2025 "Pizza of the Month", which was awesome - I made sure to tell him I was really happy to see a steak pizza on the menu at One Pie Pizza Co.! The only issue with picking up orders is their parking lot - I wish it were easier to navigate and larger. So for dinner, I ordered the November 2025 "Pizza of the Month" - a QTR (six slice) Steak Hoagie Pizza, which is a garlic butter and ricotta cheese base, topped with shaved ribeye steak, mozzarella cheese, (bell) peppers and onions, then drizzled with a savory hoagie sauce over the whole pizza, and per One Pie Pizza Co. tradition, served with a complimentary cup of homemade blue cheese. This pizza was delicious! The garlic butter and ricotta cheese base were excellent; I loved the balance of flavors and the creaminess of it! It was hard to tell by looking at the pizza but there was plenty of steak on each slice, all of the cheese on top did a nice job covering it up. The peppers and (red) onions tasted fresh and were sliced nicely. The hoagie sauce drizzle on top was a nice touch, but in my opinion, might have been a little too much. There are so many flavors and it comes off a bit "soupy" so, to me, the extra drizzle made it a little messy to handle. If/when I order it again, I'd ask for a lighter amount of the drizzle on top and maybe a minute or two more in the oven. Warning: This is a messy, greasier pizza - You'll want extra napkins and to wash your hands (and face) afterward. As for the price, it aligns with the pizzas under their "Extreme Specialty Pizzas" menu, so it's the priciest, but it's worth the price, in my opinion. One Pie Pizza Co.'s "Pizza of the Month" is always interesting and the November 2025 'Steak Hoagie Pizza' is one of my favorites! It'd be awesome if they add this pizza to their permanent menu, maybe tweak it a little bit to make it less messy. I'm certainly going to do my best to order the 'Steak Hoagie Pizza' before it's rotated off! For 2026, it'd be awesome to see this pizza, as well as their stuffed hot pepper pizza, added to the permanent menu... I'll continue crossing my fingers! haha
