They provided a very fair quote, but we ended up having to put the project on hold. When we were finally ready to revisit it, they were willing to honor the original estimate, which we really appreciated. This is our first home and the first major renovation project we've undertaken, so we were a little apprehensive going into the process. We ultimately decided to expand the project into a full remodel, and even with the additional scope, the updated price remained very reasonable and close to what we had originally expected to spend. Once the project started, everything moved quickly and smoothly through each phase. Communication was timely and responsive, which helped keep the project moving efficiently from start to finish. Tony, the foreman, and his team were extremely detail-oriented and did exceptional work. The craftsmanship really shows in the finished bathroom. Everything looks carefully installed and precise, and the tile work in particular is incredibly clean. We're extremely happy with how the bathroom turned out and with the overall experience, especially for our first major home project. We would use them again for future projects and highly recommend them.

Their quote was detailed and competitive, closely matching the other estimates we received. Avi, the project manager, thoroughly explained each step of the remodeling process, which gave us confidence moving forward. We stayed in regular contact via WhatsApp, making it easy to ask questions and share updates. Their designer, (Elinor), provided valuable recommendations, assisted with shopping, and created a 3D design that helped us visualize the final outcome. Impressively, the finished bathroom closely matched the design, which was a major factor in our decision to choose Constructions and More. Joseph, the foreman, and his team were professional, respectful, and kept our home clean throughout the project. They did an excellent job handling everything from electrical and plumbing work to tiling and fixture installation. They also managed all the necessary permit inspections with the city. Added finished photo with the 3D Render. We are extremely pleased with the final results of our bathroom remodel and would definitely hire them again.

Overall, it was a good experience, and we were very satisfied with the project. Roy Haver was our project manager throughout the renovation. During the early stages, I also had lot of interaction with both Roy and Noa Azarzar regarding the scope of the work, project estimates, and other details. It was a very pleasant experience working with both of them. Noa was very understanding and helpful during the estimation and planning phase. She's one of the big reason we decided to go with Brother Brother. We really appreciated her support. There were some issues and challenges along the way, although nothing major, and they were all addressed and resolved. One thing I especially appreciated about Roy was how responsive and accessible he was. He was always available when we had questions, responded quickly, and consistently gave us the assurance that things would be taken care of. More importantly, he followed through on those promises. He also visited the project frequently and kept us updated on the progress. We sincerely appreciate Roy for being professional, responsive, understanding, and attentive to our needs. He made sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. I also want to thank Marco, the head of the crew, for his hard work and for helping get the job done. One thing we really appreciated was how they handled changes along the way. When our requirements shifted, they adapted easily and offered great feedback on ways to simplify our design to save time and money. The team showed up on time each morning, cleaned up before leaving every day, and were always respectful and courteous. Our kitchen designer, Michele, was fantastic and brought our vision to life perfectly, and the bathrooms were designed beautifully as well. The crew--Angel, Asher, Enrique, and Donato--were professional, hard-working, and a pleasure to have in our home. Replacing just the slabs takes quite a bit of precision and skill, so I was really glad they were willing to take this project on. There was some confusion at the beginning around scheduling, but once I brought it up, they adjusted quickly. Samuel then took over the project, and that really changed the experience for the better. We also ran into a misunderstanding around the scope of work and an additional cost that initially felt much higher than expected, to the point where I was considering cancelling the project. Samuel took the time to listen to my concerns, work through everything with me, and come up with a fair price. When the final scope ended up being a little less than anticipated, he even reduced the price further, which I really appreciated. He also sent two technicians to make up for the initial delay and get the work completed quickly. The doors turned out great, and the job was finished much faster than I expected. What could have been a frustrating experience was completely turned around by Samuel's responsiveness, patience, and willingness to find a fair solution. I would definitely recommend Proper Hour Home Service, especially for their technical skill and the way they handled an issue when it came up.

The team also handled uncertainty well. At the start, it was not clear how the kitchen exhaust hood would be vented. They worked through the constraints and found a solution that significantly improved airflow and met code. If we raised a concern or felt something missed the mark, it was addressed quickly. I interviewed six contractors before choosing HR Renovation. Hamlet stood out for one reason -- clear, upfront communication. That's rare in this industry and it matters more than most people realize going in. I came in with a hard constraint: five weeks, parents out of the house, done. I have a background in large-scale renovation projects so I set expectations precisely and we got all finish materials sourced and staged before day one -- Hamlet helped me build that list. Going in, there were very few unknowns. One change order the whole project, which I anticipated. Hamlet committed to having his full crew on-site for the month. He kept that promise. The crew put in long hours every day to make it happen -- and they finished in four weeks, a full week ahead of my already aggressive schedule. My parents were back in the house on time. The exterior sewer work ran an additional month due to permitting and city inspection timelines, but that's the nature of that work -- Hamlet handled all of it directly with the city, start to finish. High quality work. On budget. Efficient crew that didn't cut corners even when pushing hard. Good communicator who follows through on what he says. I rarely write reviews. This one was worth writing.

My mother in law agreed with the quote and they got started on the work immediately. They attacked the driveway first and seems like they got all the weeds and old rock out in one day which was impressive. We get a text later that day saying that if we put back the old rock, there's a high chance that the weeds will be growing back sooner than later. When we got the quote, we told Danny that our main focus with the driveway was to prevent weeds and maintenance for as long as possible. It seemed pretty reasonable that putting new rocks would prolong any new weeds from growing back soon. We opted to pay the additional 5500 dollars. After 1 month, I saw weeds breaking through the rocks and a whole line of weeds on every edge of the driveway. I eventually text Danny to see if they can come by to see why there were weeds growing through the rocks after only 1 month. It took some phone calls and some texts but he said he finally came personally to the house while everyone was at work and told us that the neighbors had some weeds and thats why we can see weeds so soon. I took a closer look and saw that the weeds were actually growing through the weed barrier, not on top. He said he would send a crew to come and correct the problem but that day never came. He gave me 2 days that he said a crew would come, but never did. It was great working with them when we owed them money. The were on time, curtious to everyone they came across and even went above and beyond what was needed for the job. The fact that we were up sold another $5500 worth of product to help fix our issue, but then within a month, see that the new rocks didn't help at all. I'm not exactly sure on the final price but it was over 15k for the job on the driveway, that's a lot of money just to have someone essentially just pull your weeds and have them grow back so soon. The retaining wall came out great. I wouldn't hire this company for landscaping but maybe they do a better job in other areas. Update: they did comeback and correct the issue. They also put in a plan for the future to make sure the weeds don't return.
