My boyfriend and I just moved into a place where it became pretty clear that the prior tenant didn't properly clean the place before we got here. I noticed the carpet was particularly dirty and smelled of pet urine (yeah, that great). When we called to make an appointment David showed up the same day to evaluate the carpet. He also had a tool that confirmed the carpet padding underneath was wet from the prior tenant trying to clean their own carpets. Even better than we originally thought. David gave us a quote then came back the next day to do the service. He chemically treated the carpet to eliminate the urine, cleaned the carpets, then pulled all the water out. For the tub and shower pan, he proposed refinishing it, and showed me photos of a prior job he did. It looked so good but at first I was cynical because it looked like new. I decided to give this a try and spend more for the refinishing job rather than a thorough cleaning of an aging tub and shower pan. The results did not disappoint! After waiting 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time, I called to see if the technician was stuck in traffic or needed to reschedule. I was told that the technician arrived and was waiting outside my door. Not true. I requested a call upon arrival, as I needed to provide directions to my unit. Eventually, I found the technician and inquired why he had not called me. (The owner said the tech had my number.) He laughed softly, embarrassed. I directed him where to move his van and escorted him to my house. As we looked at the couch he was there to steam clean, I asked if he thought cleaning it would make a difference/get the stains out. He did not understand. He does not speak English. Really?! You are a carpet/upholstery cleaning technician, whether stains are going to come out or not is one of the most basic questions customers are going to ask. I called the owner to discuss. The owner asked if I was having my house cleaned. I reminded him that he and I just spoke less than 10 minutes ago about steam cleaning my couch. Then he said yes, steam cleaning. Realizing there was a language barrier, I handed the phone back to the tech and asked him to get started. The tech proceeded to open the sliding door to my balcony. I inquired why he was doing that as I specifically requested a company with portable equipment because my unit cannot be accessed otherwise. The tech left to get his equipment and advised he would return in 5 minutes. I went down to check on him a little after 5 minutes. He was still gathering his equipment and had moved a recycle bin to keep the security door open. I went back up to my unit. After nearly another 10 minutes, I went back downstairs. I found him outside the security door looking at his phone?? I asked if he was calling me. I had not received a call. As I let him in, he told me that he did not have my phone number after all (the owner told me he gave him my #.) Now, nearly 50 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, I was quickly losing patience. We still had not started the steam cleaning process! I called the owner back to discuss the situation. The owner apologized a few times for the delay and that the tech does not speak English. The tech not speaking English is not my problem, I did not hire him. I made sure that we had an understanding before wasting additional time. At the end of the day, I do not believe that they tried to get the couch as clean as they could have. I am not certain who is leaving all of the five-star reviews; I will not say they are paid/fake reviews. Yet, if a business has been around for 4+ years, with numerous five-star reviews, it seems highly unlikely that you are not giving customer numbers to the tech? Hiring steam cleaning techs that do not speak enough English to address basic questions (e.g., will this stain come out)? Very suspicious. These guys were hired to do some renovations, and it was absolutely a quick and dirty turn around. The work quality was terrible! We tried calling them for weeks to get them to come and fix the mistakes they made, but no one would return our phone calls. They installed doors that didn't shut properly, or at all, Light fixtures that don't work correctly. They sealed recessed lighting fixtures making it impossible to change the lightbulbs. Outlet covers were not put on correctly... Etc. I honestly can't tell if it's incompetence or laziness. This is probably the worst job I've ever seen, and we now have to hire a new contractor to come fix everything. I would not recommend these guys at all. read more

I called JDF to service my house after my tenant moved out. Jose came promptly for an estimate which turned out to be fairly reasonable since he's a one stop shop. You don't need to call cleaners, painters, power washers, carpet cleaners separately since he'll do all of those jobs. He did paint touch up, power washed and cleaned my windows, mopped cleaned the hardwood floors, cleaned the carpet, stairs and made the place sparkle. Highly recommend. read more

David helped me with several projects in my home projects including 3 bathroom remodels, kItchen ceiling replace and painting walls. Everything looked good at the time he finished. And then, after less than 1 year, my half bathroom was leaking everywhere. We hired another plumber and found out the pipe was actually sealed by glue. I couldn't believe this can happen. We spent $750 specifically on this bathroom's pipe cutting and fitting. I think the pipe should definitely last more than 1 year. Another thing was the master bathroom always had dripping water. We found out that the valve was rusted. He originally said this couldn't be fixed. Today, my plumber fixed the broken pipe and this broken valve for $250. I trusted you for doing so many projects for my first home. But i feel so disappointed now when I knew how badly this was done in the past. read more

Great work, very satisfied with my newly painted and epoxied garage! I reached out to JDF (Jose) to receive a quote for having my garage rehabbed and painted. He responded in a prompt manner and came over the following day to take a look and offer a quote. He was very reasonably priced and more competitive than many other quote I received. The price quoted included supplies and paint, which many others did not. I had mentioned there was another person that was going to come by to offer a quote on getting the garage floor Epoxied and he said he is able to do it. So I was able to get all my needs done with one person. Jose allowed communication over text and we were able to pick out paints and all my desired requests without ever having to go to a store. Jose and his crew were professional each day they were here. He prepared me to what they would be doing so I could plan my schedule around it. Jose remained flexible with my requests and also with my schedule. The project took 1 day to paint and 4 days to epoxy. They prepped the floors, grindings down needed areas, removed all stains, power washed and prepped on 1 day. Then the following 2 days they laid down the paint and the sealer. I was happy with the final result and it has the show room feeling. Over all I had the garage ceiling, 3 walls and the floor epoxied. I plan to use JDF in the future as they cover a multitude of different household needs. I highly recommend JDF and they perform affordable, quality and professional work. He cleaned both our tile and carpet floors and there was a noticeable difference in the color of both before and after he came. He also cleaned our shower and was able to remove most of the debris that had gathered there over the years although there are a few spots he couldn't remove. He did a particularly amazing job on our shower doors and bathtub, removing gunk that had been there even before we moved in. The reason for 4 instead of 5 is because he offered to patch our grout but on the day of used grey instead of white without consulting me.
