From onset to completion, Bay Carpet did not disappoint. I called a couple of weeks ago. I informed them that I would be out of town, and wanted to move on this project quickly. Bay Carpet was able to set up an in home appointment for the next day. The salesman, Mark arrived promptly. We went through all of the laminate floor samples. There was no hard sell about choosing one product over another. We agreed on the design, he took measurements, we set up the date of installation, and I paid the required 50% deposit. Dan, the manager, called the day before installation to review the terms of our contract. At the end of our conversation, he assured me that I would be pleased with the results. On the day of installation, the two-crew members, Alex and another worker, arrived on time, were courteous, and worked diligently. They removed all of the old carpeting, tied it in manageable cylinders, and carried it out to my trash receptacle. They also moved several pieces of furniture (Note: It is an additional $75). They installed the beautiful new flooring in two rooms and 2 closets and the left the rooms impeccable. The entire process took under 5 hours. At the end of the job, I spoke to Dan, who asked me to carefully check the rooms to make sure I was completely satisfied. Most companies don't give you this personal service. I highly recommend this company for your floor installation project. Their professionalism exceeded my expectations. I definitely plan to use them again in the near future for four additional rooms. read more

I was glad I contacted Bay Carpet. They came with samples of exactly what I specified which was flooring vinyl similar to linoleum or carpet samples. I mention this because I had several other vendors come in, they were more to what they were selling, to receive the pricing I was pressured to give them an immediate sale, and asked about what about promos, they told me did not apply to what I was looking at. I thought that one of them actually role played on the phone to pretend drop the prices. Bay Carpet listened to what I wanted, understood so when the salesman Phil arrived, he had just what I asked for in the samples and made reasonable suggestions. Pricing was so much better than what I was quoted by the big name carpet guys, so I ordered the carpeting immediately and it was installed the next day by very professional and skilled workmen. A very big thank you and solid vote of confidence in Bay Carpet! Joan and her staff pulled out all the plugs to install an area carpet, making things happen on short notice, in the middle of COVID and even installing the carpet on New Year's Eve! After making sure things were just so, the installers, John and Jesus, left. Then Joan called back to say that John, the lead installer, had noticed that the binding wasn't precise. Frankly, it wasn't noticeable, but John wanted to return, and did. He said "You paid good money for the carpet. We want you to be really happy and satisfied." He brought an entire binding sewing machine up to the second floor and got to work. He readjusted the carpet until it was just right. I'm glad I close to shop locally in Glendale, and gratified that Bay Carpet has such a high regard for customer satisfaction. I would not hesitate in recommending this firm. read more

Let me start off by saying this is my 22nd year doing business with Bay Carpet. They have always been so helpful to the salesman that come over with so many samples (Last three times I had Phil come over who is EXCELLENT in explaining any concern or question. I recently had a problem with a floor I had done couple years ago that needed a replacement and they were so understanding and came over to fix it. Telmo who came over does pristine work . He's done work in my house three times and every inch is perfect . I'm so happy!! my floors look beautiful I have Laminate in my kitchen and my other 5 rooms have carpet and the hall including my stairs are carpeted, I get so many compliments . We had our dining room and hallway done last weekend with Bay Carpet using Syncorex brand flooring. Telmo and his work partner did a fabulous job. Exceptional service from them . A manager at Bay Carpet, Joe Csukardi, came over to show us flooring samples for vinyl plank tile. He was amazing and very helpful. I can't say enough nice things about this company and their employees. Price was also right. You get what you pay for but we were not overcharged. :) We're also getting a rug laid down in one of the bedrooms and I am looking forward to it. My church needed new flooring and we were disappointed in the work done previously by another company. We consulted two other companies and Bay Carpets was by far the most professional. Joan, in the office, was pleasant and returned my calls promptly. Our salesman, Phil, called me with plenty of time to let me know he was running late. We had several unexpected complications but everyone was willing to work with us in a timely and professional manner. And the workmen (Alex and his team) did the most meticulously detailed work. I recently needed to get carpet for a studio apartment I was subletting. After shopping around with several companies I called Bay Carpet on a Saturday and picked a carpet on Monday which was installed on Tuesday. My price was way below Empire Carpet and other competitors and the carpet was installed expertly and quickly. I had a new inlaid floor put down in my kitchen. I used Bay Carpet because some other people told me they where good. They where excellent. A salesmen came to the house his name was Phil and he had samples with him saving us a trip to the showroom. We where able to pick something from the samples and the price was in our budget . A few days later Leo and his son came to install our new floor. The workmanship was very very good and they did a very good clean up. I would highly recommend this company to everyone. I would not recommend this company to anyone. First the sales rep made a racist comment when leaving asking me if I was happy they kept Popeyes Chicken open...then they called to confirm installation. I wanted to push the date back to install plywood to the floor to strengthen the floor. Before I could explain my reason for pushing it back the owner said "what you don't have the money". I had Joe come to my home for an estimate on ripping up old linoleum in the kitchen and having a new piece put down. The quote was great!! When the workers came, they ripped up the old flooring, cleaned up the mess, put down the new flooring, and it looks absolutely awesome!!!! My appointment was on Monday to see samples and they install on Tuesday Before I came home from work.
