Long story short..I recently incurred a life changing event, I've worked very hard in avoiding. But due to circumstances above and beyond my control i did unfortunately become a victim of. I didn't know where to start or begin, all i knew was that my integrity as well as financial standing was placed in jeopardy.. Currently our climate doesn't really afford us the ability to connect to with one-on-one customer service agents who have the time to listen much less the time to humanely connect and relate. I visited the Westfield brank and was told by a teller that the system accepts codes even if they are invalid since it doesn't validate them. I asked if the promotion could be extended since it had just expired. The teller checked with management and informed me that no such courtesy could be extened for a new customer. I called headquarters and asked again if they would be able to extend the promotion for a new customer. I explained the main reason for opening the account place was the promotion and that the promotion still appears on their web site and no expiration date is listed. Again, I was told my request could not be honored. I informed the representative that I would be leaving negative feedback on Yelp and closing my account immediately. I left Peoples Bank 20 years ago due to their high fees and thought I would give them another chance. Seems not much has changed. There are many better options, including credit unions that are more likely to work with their customers. Stay away from Peoples Bank.

Mind you I've only had the car for going on ten days since purchasing the dealership gives you 1250 miles or 30 days for warranty they sold me extended warranty with my purchase as well but they insisted that I use my warranty coverage which makes no sense at all if I technically still have warranty left from the dealership why should I have to use the extended warranty they sold me with the purchase to fix a transmission issue the car was sold with ,you would think after buying a 22,000 car you would not have issues specifically with a transmission I feel like they sold me the car knowing that it had a bad transmission I spoke to Josh one of the owners who did all my paperwork but was very unprofessional about the situation I explained to him that I shouldn't have to deal with this issue seeing I only had the car for less then 2 weeks he pushed me to the side said he will get back to me after he spoke to the co owner Charles to figure it out which don't make sense if Josh was the one who did all the paperwork and basically sold me and my wife the vehicle this is a stressful issue to deal with I would not Recommend anyone to purchase a car from here they make it seem good when your signing papers but when a issue occurs with the car they brush you to the side as if they don't wanna deal with the problems
