Going into work late to bring my tv in to get an oil done. I was here before. Guy comes out telling me how they can't do inspection on my Rv. I said you should have told me no the phone. Then another guys comes out no hi! No good morning starts telling me he can't change my oil, no one told him I had an Rv. I stated I always come here why don't you know ! Then they tell me they can't pick me up at 430 from work because the shuttle doesn't run that long ! Wtf!! Getting oil done here. Because they know how pissed I am. I had called in the morning to see if there was a vehicle available That was posted on the website.When they said there was I went down to see it. When I got there we went through the motions and we were ready to go take a test drive for the car. The salesman came back to tell me that The vehicle was already sold. Apparently the general manager had sold the car and had not told any of the employees or had even taken the ad down off the website pretty frustrating. That is poor management on his part. Our salesman Mike was great but I felt bad he had to go through all that work for nothing and give us bad news. Thankfully I found another vehicle somewhere else and will not be going back there even though I had already purchased a vehicle from them before. read more

My husband and I ordered a truck in January of 2021. There were none on the lot that met our needs. We needed a 2500 HD to pull a fifth wheel camper. We were given the option to order the truck on the Chevrolet website. Our salesman was Mike Easton who had the typical "full of crap" lines. Calling my husband "boss" and inexperienced. We went on line with him and personally ordered our truck from the factory. We ordered a specific color and the fifth wheel hitch system. So after waiting almost 18 months to get the truck with various excuses why it was not coming in the truck finally arrives in a completely different color, way off what we ordered and there is no fifth wheel in the back. Of course our salesman gave us a bunch more line of crap and basically it was a take it or leave it. We took it but had to pay another $2000 to have the hitch installed. We purchased 8 cars here in the last 8 years with family. Never ever coming back. They could care less because they are such high volume. read more

They will let you know right away that they sell 200 cars per month so they don't need to drop their prices. They're priced higher than most other dealers in the area. LIED TO ME I had an intermittent engine light on my Chevy Colorado, after a few months I finally brought it to a dealership to get it fixed right. Please have a look at the engine light, I suspect it's an oil pressure switch as I've already run the code. Oh, and also rotate the tires and inspect the brakes (slight pulsing while braking hard). Meet Steve: a 13 year Army veteran who's happy to help out a military brother. "No problem! There's a diagnostic fee, and I'll call you in a couple hours with an update." 5hrs later, Steve calls. He says the oil is contaminated. $450 to flush the system and that should take care of it. The brakes are fine, the pulsing could be the larger tires you have on it. ...wouldn't they pulse all the time then? It's only when I'm braking, tires don't work like that. Calls me back, the brakes are in terrible condition. I shouldn't even be driving on them. and the oil? It has METAL SHAVINGS in it, AND FUEL in it. $5,000 for a new oil pump. Steve tells me that he can put me in a new truck for that price and a trade in. I decided to pick up the truck and get a second opinion. Steve pulls up in a new Colorado and tells me about my oil problem. "Look at your gauges during engine start, you have ZERO OIL PRESSURE for 15 seconds! It's a wonder the truck still drives." I ask him to start up the new truck and I watch the oil gauge...it does exactly the same thing. (it's the computer starting up and testing points). SO. I took it to another shop (not a dealership). They put a pressure sensor on the engine oil cap during start, IMMEDIATE OIL PRESSURE. The system is fine. Also, no contamination, no fuel in the oil, no metal shavings, and the pump is healthy. oh, the brakes? like new. The pulsing is from an uneven rotor, which can be replaced with the next brake job. Steve. You lied through your teeth; your company will not see me again. Thanks....brother. read more

Bought tires and front end alignment from dealer . When I left the dealership I felt something was off with my car. Continued driving noticed that my steering wheel was not midline and my car was pulling to the right. Called dealership and although they had me bring the vehicle back in they implied that it was something I had done. Sorry not the case. Will find another dealership for future repairs. My husband made an appointment to specifically see two vehicles on the lot. When we arrived to the dealership, the salesman couldn't find the vehicle. There was one excuse after another as to why the vehicles we requested to see aren't there. When returning later that week to see the requested vehicle, again the salesman "couldn't find it". When he finally pulled it around it was filthy. There was dog hair, used wrappers, water bottles and change all over the car. If we weren't in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, this would be bad enough. The sales person had the blue tooth hooked to the car and we kept overhearing them discuss their personal matters while we test drove the vehicle! The manager was incredibly rude, refused to even discuss the price with us and only after leaving did he offer a surly phone call. This dealership needs a lesson in customer service. After my husband called to let him know he wouldn't be doing business with them, the salesman called him back while he was working to state "I'm not worried because it wasn't much of a commission". That is not how you treat people. This is an awful establishment and I would avoid business with them at all costs. read more

Can't give less than one star or I would...told me they would have a loaner vehicle and that was a lie...they charge 130/hr for labor and I honestly think they put pictures of parts on a dart board and wherever the dart lands that's what they replace.. charged me 2500 to "fix" my truck and a week later check engine light came back on... "we have the best diesel techs out there" which is another lie.. this is their last chance to get it right next time I'll bring it to northeast diesel..they are snakes.. stay well away from this place... read more

Unfortunately you can't give zero stars. Had an appointment to see a truck. Drove 2 1/2 hours down and apparently it had sold a day ago. The listening is still on Facebook and their website. A courtesy phone call from Amanda Reed would have been nice. To boot when we showed up the two salesmen that greeted us laughed about it. Maybe an apology of some sort and we would have been open to look at what else they had on the lot. But no. They could have cared less. The people, for the most part, are pleasant, that's a plus anywhere you go. My gripe is with the service department. The prices are totally outrageous as they are at any dealership. They will gouge you big time for services you could get with a GOOD independent mechanic at a much lower price. Example: Brakes. Check out what they charge you for a brake job at Central. Then, check out what the materials actually cost at any good auto parts store. Get a person you can trust to do your brakes, pay for the materials, another $25. or $50. for the person who does the job and you've paid way less than half of what you'd get ripped off for at Central. It's insulting the way they try to tell you that it's something "that really should be done, now...." and then they add in the $$$$$$$$$$price. Yeh right....well, NO THANKS!! Shop around, there ARE a few good independent mechanics who are trying to make a living and a lot of guys who have worked on cars as a hobby for many years and know what they're doing. read more

I had two incidents with the service department that I will no longer have anything to do with them! The first time, they told me I needed a new battery when I didn't and this time, they tried to gouge me by telling me that it was going to take an hour and a half to fix my windshield washer nozzle and it was going to cost me $330.00! When I saw what the part cost, I told them not to do it so they then brought the price down to $135.00 and said they would rush the job and have it done in a half hour to which they had it done in 10 minutes. Not only that, but they charged me for rotating my tires and they never did it! I will never purchase a car there again even though Mike Z. was an outstanding salesman! I had never used them before, however, I had extremely poor customer service at Balise Chevy in the past and did not want to give them my business. Kathy at Central was a true rockstar! She made me feel welcomed, important, and kept me updated about the progress of my vehicle the entire time. My car was in pristine condition upon picking it up. Absolutely horrible!!!!! My father's 2009 Silverado (still looks brand new and is taken care of like a baby) failed inspection and they don't know why. They have had it for TWO WEEKS and still don't know why the sensors failing. He called today since it's such an inconvenience being without a vehicle and was told it "wasn't a priority" and they would get to it. He asked for a loaner car and was denied. When the dealer returned the car the service was done well but the power plug for my radar detector was in pieces. I returned it to the dealer and they put it back together and called me to inform me that it was not broken and I went and picked it back up. I did not like that they did not repair it before they returned the car to me or inform me that their was a problem with it. First of all, the building was immaculate and laid out in a very organized and efficient way The lounge was more than comfortable, and we felt very relaxed sitting there while we waited for our car to be inspected. Now to the restrooms. They were beautiful and immaculate. Just the way we like them to be. Okay, now to our sales consultant, Michael Easton. One word for him would be AWESOME!!!! He was completely knowledgeable, efficient and extremely helpful. He answered all of our questions very patiently and never made us feel rushed. His personality is one that can not be beat. I had a vehicle involved in a minor accident and it took 37 days for them to finally release the vehicle. That's 7 day after the maximum number of allowed rental car typically from your insurance company, which is 30 days. This was a minor accident, and are you willing to take the bus for 7 days while (well, who knows why!) they decide to finally give you your vehicle back? This is a convertible, and NO money can get the summer of 2019 back! Horrible. read more

Well, I liked the salesman Steve. We talked about my wanting a 3 year 12k mile lease. After being there for 6 hours, I finally left with my new truck. When I got home, I took a closer look at the contract, and they had me on a 39 month lease, not a 36. Now I know I signed it, but I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe it was a mistake. I plan on following up until I get this fixed. In the meantime, my suspicious nature tells me they thought they could slip it by me, which they did. I will not recommend them to anyone unless they are prepared to correct this "mistake". I will explain it on the customer survey I get as well. Go somewhere else. Don't trust them. read more

What I loved about the "Central" experience was how grounded my sales Rep Dana Potter was. There was no 'greasy' feeling, no feeling of "I want to take a shower when I get out of here" that I experienced with other dealers in my lifetime. He was low pressure, all about education so that I could make an informed decision. He was patient, steering me when I was unsure, and asking the right questions of me to let me make my own decision on what model I wanted to settle on. His gentle guidance was refreshing amongst the throngs of pushy slick sales reps I've experienced in the past. My deal was fair and accurate for my trade in, I felt good about signing the deal. After my decision was made, I was then very happy with my dealings with Kathy Jones. Her professionalism and love of her job was clearly evident to me. Again, I was advised with education, not forced to make quick decisions. There was not one bit of 'buyers remorse' that day nor in the days since I've had the vehicle. Kathy was a joy to work with to finish my deal. The staff I viewed while in the dealership appeared happy and engaged not only with customers, but with each other. That's important to me -- not to see discourse which would have been a distraction during my decision making. The appearance of the dealership was excellent also. I felt comfortable and welcomed by the people and the surroundings. I will definitely refer friends and relatives to Central! Thank you for a great experience. read more

I told him my situation and then he encouraged me to make an appointment for the following week. I came back to the dealership and Mike and I started talking from where we left off. My husbands car broke down unexpectedly and we knew that it was time for a new car. We called Central Chevrolet and got set up with Steve. By the time we got to the dealership, Steve had a car already pulled up for us to test drive. We fell in love immediately and started the process. Melissa worked so hard to get us a payment that worked great for us and we couldn't have been more please. When we returned the next day, Steve had left for the day so we worked with Bob. Bob did everything he could to make signing the papers as easy as possible. My 2013 Silverado makes a clunking noise every time I stop then take back off. From what they tell me, this is something called backlash and it is a normal sound in these trucks. I have had so many terrible experiences with this place but this one has to have taken the cake! Having had my car in the shop so many times for the same problem (even though we told them what we thought it was time and time again and we were never listened to...) I brought my car in for a routine oil change and fix the oil leak (because the tech didn't know how to properly tighten an oil filter...) and simply asked that I be called before any work was performed so I could OK it... Well, when I went to pick up my car and asked why I wasn't called (and why I wasn't notified that ADDITIONAL work was done) service writer Ken Griffin proceeded to call me "obnoxious and ridiculous". REALLY!? I get you had a bad day but that is never acceptable to yell at a customer, especially when your co-workers are saying how wrong you are! This is how you treat your customers?! And to top it off... SEVERAL employees made a point to tell me how wrong he was and how they would make sure he called me with an apology the next day. Needless to say, it's been about a week and I still haven't gotten a phone call from ANYONE. Way to go Central! You better believe I will NEVER be back and will absolutely share my experiences with everyone I get the chance to. read more
