I own a bmw 525i and oil leak is my biggest concern and headaches. i went to a local bmw shop near to my house (i live in cerritos) and they told me that its a common problem among all BMWs and i should not be bothered with it. however, its not just the oil leaks that i'm worried about. the dashboard constantly telling me "service engine soon". so i put an obd tools and it gave me an error that needs repair on fuel injector no. 3. the guy gave me an estimate which almost make my brain spilled out of my head. the price is almost the price of a certified used vehicle. so i bring my car to pedro. my wife and son is questioning me why did i choice to bring it bavarian garage, about 35 miles from cerritos. its toooooo far. however, distance is not issue compared to the satisfaction i got. i told pedro my problem , and i did not even finish my story for him to know whats wrong with the car. he told me his plan of action and the cost is unbelievably half of what the other guy gave me. 2 days after, i came to pick-up the car, lo and behold, no more leaks and the car is running like it was brand new. fuel efficiency is much much better and i'm getting more miles than ever before. this shop certainly is the best. i was about to buy a new one and, now, not only i saved tons of money for the downpayment, but i got to keep it and not having to worry about the leaks. my car is a stick shift, so i always got a lot of praise. and to make everything even better, claudia, the boss of the bosses, sweeten the deals for me. i told her i was missing one bmw logo on my wheels. she looked at it, gave me one, and when i asked how much, she didn't charged me, not even a penny. where on earth can you find that kind of customer service? the decal probably cost about 10 bucks, but the gesture, and kindness, that's superb customer service ... and that my friend/s, is PRICELESS ... so if anybody out there having any problem with your bmw, this is the shop you would want to go. workmanship is unquestionable and all works are guaranteed. don't worry if its far from your residence. every miles spent is worth the visit. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. The first time I came here was sort of an emergency -- my battery died in the area and AAA towed me to the closest auto shop that worked on BMWs, which was Bavarian Garage. They had a new battery put in that day. The second time was when I needed new brake pads, an oil change, and new brake fluid. I called around several places and Bavarian's quote was lowest AND they could get the job done the fastest. When I told them I was waiting to see if my husband could take a day off to bring the car in, they offered to pick up the car from our house. They got the job done and returned the car within hours. The icing on top when was they put in $10 of gas "because they didn't want me running on fumes" -- I had about 40 miles left. Payment is easy. Bavarian Garage charged me over $700 to fix a center support bearing, they only secured 2 out of 3 bolts. Because of this, the same problem happened only 2 months later. Then they quote me $2000 to rebuild the driveshaft and install it. When I took it to another shop to fix they showed me where they messed up on the installation. My 2008 750i got its transmission serviced here. Pedro was extremely knowledgeable. He has direct training from ZF engineers and was taught the correct way when servicing your transmission. Don't listen to BMW dealerships as they have don't give you the right advice. For example BMW will tell you the tranny fluid is lifetime but interestingly enough ZF recommendeds changing the fluid approx every 50k miles on their own website. Bavarian Garage put simply is just awesome. One day I found a business card on my windshield belonging to BG. I usually just throw away things like that but as many of us BMW owners know, it's hard to find a good trustworthy mechanic, especially a BMW one. So I held onto it. Few months go by and I needed my brakes done. I called dealer first and was blown away by the price. Dealer's out the question and decided to give BG a call. I try to do as much as I can on my own cars, just cause I like to wrench here and there. It also doesn't hurt that it saves me some money. Right from the phone call Pedro was very friendly and courteous. He even said, if you wanna bring your own parts, we'll install them. I was set! I visit the shop, and first thing I notice is the coolest thing I've seen at a shop. A glass table with a BMW engine as the base, how often do you see that! I talked to Pedro and it's just like I'm talking to a buddy I've known for years. He is very personable and at the same time professional. I drop off the car and few hours later its all done. I'm so glad I found Bavarian Garage. They are fast, efficient and know their stuff! They are also the most competitively priced BMW shop around too. They will diagnose your car issues and won't try to up sell you or be pushy about things that "should" be replaced. This is the only place I ever bring my 7 series to. Came here for the first time because I was having electrical issues with my '04 E46 M3. Pedro and his wife and very friendly. We had a nice chat about what separates him from his competitors and also just about BMWs in general. I felt really comfortable leaving my car there for service. If you need superb BMW service, try Bavarian Garage. From simple oil changes through major engine work, they are simply the best. I own 3 BMWs, a '98 Z-3, a 2000 740i sport and a '94 530i. Pedro and his crew keep all of them going. They work as fast as possible, use nothing but genuine BMW parts, and are honest about costs. They are NOT the cheapest BMW independent service company, but are the best I've found, and I've been driving BMWs since 1976 (a 2002). What's best about BG is the integrity of the owner. Not only well trained and skillful, but he really is concerned for the owner of the vehicle. The shop area is clean, there's a good waiting room if your getting a quick oil change, and plenty of room in the shop so a door doesn't intersect with your car's quarter panel. I took my BMW to Bavarian garage for the first time I was referred by a friend .. I have been to Shelly BMW McKenna BMW and Monrovia BMW I always had decent service at these dealers but there was always something wrong.. I have owned several BMWs in the last 10 years And every time I took my car to the dealer something came back wrong or they forgot to program something or they forgot to put something back .. So When I was referred to Bavarian garage I was crossing my fingers that this independent shop would be different and better then the dealer.. It sure was :) I was introduced to Pedro the owner and we had a 20 minute conversation about cars and BMW mainly about my cars... The dude is very knowledgeable and very patient .. With that alone I was very impressed and within 10 minutes of our conversation i decided I was going to do business with them ! He introduced me to his head technician Nick .. He also told me what he was going to do and how to fix my issues with my cars .. These dudes are freaking cool and very patient .. They replaced several parts that my car needed.. Nick took the time to show me what exactly was wrong with my car The old parts were literally falling apart right in front of me .. Old motor mounts old brake sensors hoses belts etc etc etc .. I told him to fix everything .. He recommended more work on top of that but he justified why he was recommending more work on top of that and took the time to show me exactly how it's not working properly.. Again I was very impressed with these dudes .. I'm a very picky person and I want to see what's wrong with my car .. That's my style that's the way I'm programmed .. These guys took the time to show me what's going on with my car not just tell me ! I'd like to start off by saying that I am the most picky customer you would ever deal with (and these guys know it). I was recommended here and I am glad I was. When I purchased this car they invited me to their shop to inspect the car and made sure I got what I paid for. They also gave me a tour of the car and asked me if I had any questions about the car, like what some buttons did etc. I have a 2011 BMW M3 and every time I have needed their services they have always been there for me. They have earned my business for life. They have done all my maintenance on the car since I've owned it (oil change first, then installed suspension and then a 60K full service) and I have not had one issue with their service since coming here. Prior to coming I shopped around for pricing and noticed that they are very price competitive. I knew coming in that owning an M3 would not be cheap, but they made that pill a little easier to swallow. Paydro and Nick have both worked on my car and I wouldn't trust any other techs with it. This place is not helpful at all! Pedro wasn't too professional with handling customer service, and we took my car in his shop by a referral, didn't seem to care much about that.. Anyways, my car would misfire, and when he checked it, it smoked like crazy out of the exhaust. We left it there, and he said he'll diagnose the problem. A few hours later, he calls and says that I should dump it, and it needs a new engine, a WHOLE NEW ENGINE! WTF? So, I got a second opinion, went with an ex-dealer worker from BMW, he had his own on-call service, and checked the problem, fixed it, no need for any new engine at all! Pedro does not know that this car would be too new to need such a major thing, in my opinion he doesn't have a lot of knowledge...and I think that he needs to go back to school or something, I'm not sure, but If I were you I would NOT go to this shop, he simply just doesn't give you the simple solution, he wants to charge you a lot and expect that it's a major problem, when it's not. Please, it'll be a waste of time to take your BMW to this shop, so don't. But it's a good first opinion just to be curious about this shop.. read more

I highly recommend bringing your BMW here. The hospitality you get is unbelievable. They take care of you like you were a dear friend. They also treat your car if it was their own. My wife brought in her 535i at 3pm which is late for most places but not at BG. Perdo diagnosed the car and explained the problem. The next day Kamall took it a pond himself to find out that our car was under warranty. He called us and explained that BG would be responsible for having the car repaired. The great part was they got the car back to us a day sooner. BG and the staff are truly wonderful people and we will continue to give them our business.
