This bar has a really cool atmosphere. It's a chill vibe with couches and low lighting. The drinks are good and the service is great. Bar tenders are attentive, helpful and friendly.

Vibes! The music is loud, but also expected. The recent remodel is refreshing, way more seating. The fully stocked bars gives plenty of options for every taste, and the changing menu is always fun. Servers are full of energy, and personable. Definitely a fun place to go to grab a drink with friends

It is really nice place. Nice mood nice conversation with bar bartender. If you like alcohol, you can visit a small bar at least once.

My fiancé found this place and it's been our favorite ever since. Best spot for some fun drinks. Everyone always has a good time here- and NO, you will never find hair in your drinks! super clean (the barber is sectioned off.)

The best new bar in Rochester. I visited this location twice in one week thanks to the great reviews. This hidden gem is actually very well branded and easy to find off Fourth Street. You will likely see the barber chairs through the window before you'll see the bar. The cool lower level shop is refreshing on a hot summer day. The first time I went was late on a weeknight and the second was on a weekend. Never packed though that may soon end as more people discover this sweet spot. The bar is modern and minimalist. My favorite thing about Baus are the well crafted cocktails from one particular bartender, Danny. He is friendly and welcoming while I can't say the same for all of the staff. He makes killer drinks and actually listens to his customers cocktail preferences. You can tell he has fun with the cocktail creations. The drinks are expensive and made with love (to the tune of $15 per drink). We were told there is daily happy hour though from 10-6 and drinks are $11 then. The bar is well curated and has a nice variety of spirits to appease even the toughest cocktail critics. Can't wait to go back!

I really love this spot! Drinks are delicious, love that they serve coffee during the day as well as cocktails! Their "pop off" cocktail is my favorite and such a fun drink. Also really like their espresso martini. A very cool addition to Main Street in downtown Rochester!

What a funky idea! My girls and I stopped in last winter time for their Christmas cocktails - they had been trending on TikTok so we had to give it a try. The bar is in a hair studio - which I think is an amazing idea for using the space and giving their clients a unique experience. The Christmas cocktails were beautiful. I got a boozy Nutella hot chocolate cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. I think it was so smart to create Christmas cocktails, especially in the Rochester area with the beautiful Christmas lights. Additionally, I had a group of about nine girls with me that night, and they were able to accommodate us as walk ins. I would have to say that the area is small and pretty dark/loud, so it might be suited for smaller groups if you do want to speak with your friends!

Love this place! Music is great and drinks are amazing! Service is good too even on busy nights.

We had a blast at Baus! Shoutout to Ashley and Cassandra--they're the real MVPs. Super cool, mega helpful, they can randomly pick amazing cocktails and because of that they made made my visit top-notch. Seriously, five stars for these awesome folks!

The Hemmingway Room - Key Lime Pie looks better than it tasted. Less whipped cream, more lime flavor would be better.

Right now it's Hanana Nights and the menu is Cuban. We ordered cocktails while we decided on dinner. My wife ordered Hotel Nacional and I got Call Your Mother. The drinks were served in fun cups and were absolutely delicious. We started out with an order of empanadas. They were crispy and full of tender meat. For dinner I ordered the pork shank and my wife the pineapple burger. She liked the burger, but stole most of my plantains and rice! The pork was delicious. Cooked to a perfect tenderness that fell off the bone. It was super flavorful and, while I didn't get much of the rice or plantains due to my wife, they were excellent. I would love for Havana Nights become a permanent restaurant, but look forward to whatever Hemmingway does next!

We had a nice table which started quiet and proceeded to get louder and more vibrant as the night went on. Service was fine and fast throughout. She had the Smoky Maintain which was strong enough for her to ask for an extra splash of pineapple juice. I had an Amaretto Sour which was nicely presented and tested good enough. It wasn't as strong as hers though. She ordered their Salmon Bowl which had both teriyaki and boom boom sauce; tasted good and was an ample size. My steak and frites came. The steak itself needed a little more seasoning and could have been larger but the truffle fries were top shelf. The chimichuri sauce was good too. The key lime pie for dessert presented well, but it packed the tartness one wants. There was too much whipped cream and not enough lime. That was the only real disappointment. Everything else was pretty great. A 4.6 rounds to 5.

I had seen the Royal Park Hotel before but never been in - the lobby is gorgeous as well, and a front desk staffer directed me to the conservatory, which is directly behind it. I've also heard they have a nice restaurant on site, so I'm hoping to come back and experience that, at some point. All of the catered food at the conservatory was tasty, as well - we had appetizers, salad, and I had an herb chicken dish, I believe. Waitstaff was very courteous and when I went up to the bar to get a Diet Coke, they asked how everything was tasting, etc., even though I wasn't the hostess of the party; nice customer service. My engaged friend said that they originally looked at Royal Park as a wedding venue, but unfortunately the conservatory wasn't large enough for their number of guests - I'm glad they had their engagement dinner there, so I got to experience it. There were about 30 guests there last night but the space looked like it could fit more, I would guess 40-50 total, easily, and possibly even more. Based on this experience, I'd love to come back to the hotel either to dine or to stay overnight.

Had the appetizer steak bites which are very tasty (just wish there were more for the $18 price) and my husband had a burger which he loved, perfectly seasoned and an actual burger that was more than a 1/2 inch thick. I ordered fish and chips. It was probably some of the best I've ever had, lightly breaded but not the usual tempura batter (you know, the stuff you bite into and it's soft and white on the inside or completely falls off the fish). Are you guys going to respond to the alleged sexual predator issue going on with your head manager Jacob Wutka or what? A post (the text in quotes below) is circulating around, there are plenty of comments from past employees corroborating your guys hiring of and keeping predators employed and these comments talk about this issue being existent years ago. Time to address this regardless of what is going on. You cannot run from this. We will not let it happen. The circulating post: "Meet Jake. Jake is a current registered child registered sex offender who is a current employee at the Hamlin Pub in the downtown Rochester area. Jake was charged with having sensually charged contact with a minor under the age of 18. Jake was involved some time back in a sting operation ran by none other than Chris Hansen, which led to his initial charges and current status as a child sex offender. As a former employee of hamlin pub who worked closely with Jake for the last couple of months without any knowledge of his past crimes, I am very well informed by the fact that, since he is employed as a head manager at this Hamlin Pub location, has minors from high-school around the surrounding area (adams, rochester, stoney creek) currently working and employed under his care. I made my own attempt to confront management and ownership of the fact that they currently employ a registered child sex offender with the management and supervision over minors in high-school, I was subsequently and permanent tresspassed from the property on part of management and ownership as a result of bringing this information to light. Please do your due diligence to make this individual famous around your own communities and around the rochester and rochester hills areas as well. Please share this post with friends, family and neighbors so that we can cultivate a culture of accountability towards these deplorable sex criminals within our own communities. Jake clearly shows within his own mugshot that he expresses no remorse for any of his actions or criminal conduct, and should be placed in an environment in which high-school minors are frequently employed at.
