Best place to have a kids party at especially a 9 year old boy!!! It definitely by far exceeding my expectations and my sons. His words -'best. party. ever. Mom! That. was. lit!- LOL kids these days (he wanted a nerf gun party, but my house wouldn't be the best set up for that, i was so glad this place existed) We had by far the most fun party host there - Shot out to Johnny for making my sons dream party the BEST EVER! Very well organized and planned out. From the set up of the party room, the décor, the activities, the food, the add ons (such as the ice cream bar, cotton candy, ect), the arcade area, the 'mess hall'. It was the best! I've been going here for 4 plus years people complain about me not calling my hits. iv always called my hits. there upset beacose I keep killing them it's really simple. me and this other person shoot each other and he continues to shoot me after I'm out. I looked at him with my arms out and he keeps shooting(keep in mind the ref was watching the whole time) I then turn around and light him up. he shot 20-30 times when I was standing still. so I shot him back. the ref throws ME of the field and the other person gets to continue to play. I went to ask why I was thrown off the field the ref ignored me and walked away when he could clearly hear me. I went to the Manager to ask for my money back oilr something he said the same thing(understandable for that place tho) then a random a girl ref comes from nowhere saying I threatened someone. I asked her who I threatened she just looked down and did not say anything. I was told I got warned be this( I didn't at all ) I don't cheat in airsoft, I never have cheated and I never will. this is frustrating because the other person did not get in any trouble what so ever and I admit shooting him as much I did was rong of me. I will probably go back there but if anything happens like that again I will not be going back. I'm trying to shine light on this not try to hate on them. read more

Played paintball and the gun kept de-cocking and sputtering. Wasted half my ammo due to gun issues. When you bring the gun to the refs, if it happens to fire twice when they have it, they just hand it back to you. Then your next shot fails and they won't help you. It's super frustrating that they do not maintain the paintball guns and don't help you. I complained about it to a manager and was fine with it. An hour later a large man that works there decided he needed to find me and argue that his guns were fine and tried to explain how paint ball gun worked. I played paintball for 15 years and I know when the gun has bad seals that need to be replaced. Avoid this place if you want to play paintball. read more

Customer service, food, and wait time is crap. When purchasing 2 hours we got charged for 4 hours. We literally had enough time to eat a whole meal by the time the place was ready for us to even play paintball plus I also think that the batter they used for the pretzel was stail. But overall this was a great experience if your tryna wait 3 hours to play a 15 minute match of paintball or air soft. Employee wasn't paying attention to the Pretzel in the oven so it burnt another 2 hours of our time gone. Employee was rude calling us boys lady's. read more

I've visited Battlegroundz a few times in the past few weeks and have spent over $1,000. Aside from the manager herself the staff is rude and SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH PEOPLE LET ALONE CHILDREN! I understand how confusing it can be to explain and enforce all the rules for all the different games available but the staff was so rude they almost had me in tears. They ruined the pleasure of the the games and the overall day. Complaints have been made with this establishment on my behalf. Not worth the money! read more

Every now and then you run into people that ruin the game. Because they know the staff and refs that work there as friends, they let it slide and continue to have problem players take advantage of other players. In my case, I cleared an area with 3 people with safety kills, 5 feet away. They all acknowledged and I turned my back to continue. After 2 seconds the "problem" player shot me in the back. Asked him "why", he said "it's an option" even though it was clearly already acknowledged. On the same day he was going around shooting people point blank or shooting while dead just to be a dick. I was on his team at what point and asked him where he was going. His exact words were "I'm just going around being a dick". I reported him to the refs and they just gave me the cold shoulder and told me, "so yeah, safety kills are an option so..." even though it was clearly acknowledged. And even though me and my friends brought up the issue, not a single word was said to that player. I told him to go f*ck himself in the lobby because he was being a dick to everyone playing including my good friends and he said "haha ok dude, get mad about it". Then he started conversing to the staff, talking sh*t behind my back. This is only one of the bad instances I had playing airsoft here. They ruined the game and the money I spent there to play. There's poor regulation on game play and overall sportsmanship. Don't come here to expect fair play. The rules apparently don't exist. And when not followed, don't expect the refs do do a thing about it. read more

You can only go to the beach so many times on vacation... so we needed something else to do. We tried BattlegroundZ and loved it. We did the 4 hour all activities pass and survived 3 1/2 hours of it. Laser tag was great. We played half a dozen games with various other folks and had a great time. "Paintball" was fun, but stung a lot. Wear long sleeves and pants... and don't get hit in the back of the head. :-) The bubble soccer was super fun... where else can you run around knocking family members over? All-in-all, BattlegroundZ was a super fun time for the whole family and well worth the price. read more

I really liked this place the first time I went, my son's friend had a birthday party there and the kids seemed to have a blast. Fast forward to St Patrick's day this past Friday. We walk in and we are the only two there. We play the games in the arcade and are ready to cash out our tickets for a prize. The guy working was so not interested in helping us as he sat behind his computer. I'm sorry if we inconvenienced him and interrupted his phone conversation. Cute place for birthday party! Laser tag!

I give this place 3 stars because of the variety of things to do, and it's a good concept... the staff was also good- however - I really didn't like how we were moved from one activity to the next. I had my son's bday party here, and I paid for the Bravo package (10 kids) for Dart Wars, since there was going to be a couple of younger kids (3/4 year olds). The paperwork that I received in the mail said to arrive promptly because the activities would start promptly. Well, the party began at 3 and we didn't get going with the activities until almost 3:30. We started off in the back room for Dart Wars, but had to wait until another party was finished. We were then moved into the area where I think they usually do Knockerball. Overall, it was a lot of waiting for the kids. We were also told that many of the Nerf guns were not functioning very well. Overall it was okay, but I don't think I'll schedule any more parties here. We may be back just to play some of the games. read more

We had our kids' birthday party there 4/2/16 and while it is expensive it is worth every cent. We had Jarred and Josh as party hosts and they were on top of everything from beginning to end. Greeted us very enthusiastically were great with all of the kids very patient and kind. They made it very stress free for the parents! We ordered 2 pepperoni and 1 cheese but received 3 pepperoni the workers had also ordered Pizza so they gave up one of their cheese to correct the pizza places mistake!! They seriously were just so amazing! The only downfall of the place is when upstairs in the room there isn't a designated spot 4 adults or ppl not participating but other than that I would highly recommend Battlegroundz for a party or just some fun...very clean and the workers r kind and enthusiastic!! read more

Its a good airsoft and paintball place or even lazer tag for birthday partys or just playing with friends. Overall the place has a good variety for people of all ages. For 10 and younger I would reccomend sticking to lazer tag but what really stands out more than everything else is the paintball and airsoft .If you buy the Paintball package you get a hopper every round, a chest protector, and a facemask, and a paintball gun (not sure of the price but here is the website http://battlegroundz.net/). For airsoft ( which in my opinion is the what really makes it stand out.) a similar procedure will be followed as the paintball package. You will get a m4 rifle ( note I would suggest that you bring your own, the rental doesnt compare to what most of the other people are using, if you are interested in purchasing one i would bye from Airsoftmegastore, or evike, Do not buy a used gun from battlegroundz they are unreliable and mine was barely usable), and you will also get a chest protector, and about a mag for the m4 ( about 300 bbs per gun magazine)Also due to Battlegroundz being Close Quartes Combat only semi or guns you cock back are allowed.(This shouldnt be a problem considering most airsoft guns have select fire, and the close quarters makes shotguns a favorite among many players) The arena is pretty well set up,many corners, a hallway for more longer encounters ( the only time I suggest aiming the sights)and also, bizzare items/ obstacles such as a bed, a dishwasher( i think) and a walking chair and many more.Guns for airsoft should be chronoed up to the maximum of 340 fps in order to play. The staff are helpful, and will help you with problems with your guns, and will give you a tour of the arena and rules before games at times.(Arena is meant to look similar to Nuketown, if you have ever played Call of Duty Black ops 1 :D ) The players in airsoft consist serious players despite the average age of them consist of 10-16 years old ( they use fake bombs, and grenades and have 200+ dollar airsoft guns at times) and many COD fanboys, and the teams are usually randomized for objective game types where each team will have different objectives ( team deathmatch, raise the flag, hostage, and occasionaly zombie/infection). When you are hit in airsoft or paintballl remember to call your hits.Because neither paintball or airsoft have paint in this matter so its up to you to play fairly on the honor system.When hit say dead man walking with your hand in the air to avoid being shot anymore( prepared to get shot alot at times).After being shot return back to your respond box, wait for 10 seconds and you are back in the game, you have unlimited responds in every game and game type ( rules may differ in zombie/infection however). The only real problem I have though is that the staff can be rude at times ( not really a problem though, not regularly), and that people tend not to follow the rules at times, which really can ruin it for other people ( players will taunt other playes with " call your hits" if they are breaking the rules however this is not ceartin because many of the times they may be barely missing the person, or no bbs will be coming out because of their mag not being winded.) If you follow the rules and regulations, airsoft and or paintball will be a safe fun experience for you, and others which is why Battlegroundz is good for children or adults of all ages. read more

The airsoft is fun. Small playing area but always action packed. Paintball don't waste your time. No one calls their hits. It will drive you crazy. Not real paintball either. It's reballs. I had my daughter's 9th birthday here. We had about 20 kids who attended. I knew from calling a few times to book the party and make sure everything was set that the people were great. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. The girl who was our party host did an amazing job. She was great with the kids and really kept things organized. I heard kids actually saying this was the best party they had ever been to. The video played before they went in to play splatmaster was a little scary, because it went with airsoft. I think they should probably make a video just for splatmaster. The party was well organized and even the adults were allowed to go in and play splatmaster with the kids. Splatmaster was fun and thrilling. The kids had a blast and everything went very smoothly. The party was a little expensive, but taking everything into consideration was completely worth it. read more

The airsoft is the worst. Disorganized, rude staff and poorly managed and definitely not a place for anyone whose not a 'regular' - you will get bullied. There is not format, it's basically no teams because it seemed that everyone changes side. There is no safety, we saw no real refereeing and people were using automatic, head shots and tons of point blank shots. Someone is going to get really hurt here. read more

This is a great day event for the family, or just with a couple friends. I went with my friends for 4 hours of all activities. The staff was friendly and had a great sense of humor. Paintball is not paint but it is rubber pellets. They don't hurt too bad and definitely not as much as airsoft. Nerf is great for the younger crowd and provide eye protection and guns. Laser tag is awesome! Very big and is super fun. The knockerball is a blast and even if you don't know soccer. You have the option for free-for-all where you just run into each other. I did not play splatterball. Good food and cheap drinks. Clean and very well maintained bathrooms. They have a decent pro shop with all of the essentials. If you are new you just watch a safety briefing. Airsoft and paintball guns are very efficient. But sometimes they get jammed. Just get a ref. Chest protection works very well and cover your whole front and back. Different masks for if you have glasses which make it a lot enjoyable for myself and anybody else that wears glasses to play airsoft. The airsoft field is a nice size and has enough cover and the paintball field is a smaller size but still a blast. The paintball guns work very efficiently aswell. Absolutely blown away. Will go their again. If you haven't gone you are missing out, great for birthday parties. Games are 10 minutes long each. {PS. The arcade is fully functional and full of fun games} read more

The kids always have fun playing laser tag here. Only negative feedback is having to wait 45-60 minutes for a field trip of kids to play (that got here at the same time we did). They should block times out for those events so the public is aware (12-2 private, open time starting at 2 or something). Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted so much time waiting around. What a JERK! I brought my kids and their friends to play for the afternoon. I asked upon entry if I could buy food and was told the food court was not open. Then I asked if I could order a pizza and was told yes. I then proceeded to order a pizza and have delivered. When I went to front to inform them I was the one who ordered a pizza, the owner was a complete jerk, yelling at me about how I could not have outside food or drink. He stated I needed to tell him exactly who informed me I could order a pizza so he could fire them. When I couldn't remember who told me he got angry and said "Didn't you look at their name tag!?" As if I pay attention to the name of everyone I speak with. He then proceeded to tell me there was a huge sign out front saying "no outside food or drink". I walked outside and there was no sign. I do not appreciate being yelled at after spending hundreds of dollars as if I broke some rule his employees do not know about NOR are posted anywhere within or outside the building. read more

BEWARE going to this facility. They don't appreciate a younger more inexperienced crowd and take advantage of the kids. My son's gun was taken from him and the tip was broken. When we tried to make arrangements for repair, they were rude and unhelpful. They also tried to pass off another gun as his. Luckily he knew the difference. read more

Safety does not come first at this place! Showed up for a kids birthday party with my son. Upon arriving the "party host" immediately started to try and upsell the parents giving the party to buy more time. Then we went over to the lazer tag area. Everyone had to sit and watch the safety video before playing. The room is very dark and difficult to see to begin with. As I sat down on the bench there was a cable hanging down onto the seat that I did not see. Apparently it was attached to one of the charging stations for the lazer tag vests. The charging station sitting about six feet above the bench was unsecured and was pulled off its shelf as I sat narrowly missing my head and slamming off my shoulder. Trying not to make too much of a scene I played it off and said I was fine. The owner never came over to apologize or see if I was alright! Then there were not enough child sized vests ready for the kids so half of them had to play with adult vests. They very long for the kids and made it hard for them to run around. My son ended falling in my opinion because of that but could have been an honest accident but when they brought over a zip lock bag with ice cubes as an ice pack I found that unacceptable. I then went and confronted the owner who then said oh we ran out and I have a box of them in my truck. This now being around 4-5PM after being open all day not sure why they would not be readily available?? After that the kids went to play knockerball which they claim has a 48" height requirement. After the kids were all in there and starting to run around they quickly went in and pulled them all out because one kid could not keep the ball up off the ground. The employee said "a child could suffocate" due to this. For some reason they never measured ANY of their heights before allowing them into the area?? I could go on but I think you get the point. I wont get into the over whelming smell of pot in the paint ball gun area for now but... parents beware!! read more

As a mother of 2 boys, ages 10 & 11 who love to airsoft I find this place to be perfect. The staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. They are clearly very knowledgeable of the equipment needed to engage in airsoft. They have equipment available for rent but for those who have their own equipment that is fine too. The refs are very aware of what is going on and I can watch my children on a camera in the waiting area while they are doing battle in the arena. The ages of people who come here to airsoft and paintball range from young to old. EVERYONE, no matter what age, that I have encountered have been respectable and acted with completely appropriate behavior regardless of the audience. As the day goes on you can see that the "teams" bond and cover each other. It is nice to see how much fun everyone has and its refreshing to see kids actually doing something and not just playing a video game or looking at a screen! We just went yesterday and the kids are begging me to take them again today. This was not our first time coming and it certainly will not be our last, but it wont be today much to my boys dismay! read more
