I returned after recieving my Blue card and went home Happy. The price was fair and I returned to by more ammo and a gun safe. Highy recommend.

Instead of explaining what I was doing wrong and helping me, an employee yelled at me in front of everyone and called me a liar about my experience. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. I understand that safety rules are extremely important and that staff may need to speak firmly to stop an unsafe situation. But there is a difference between correcting someone and humiliating them. Once I stopped shooting and stepped back so my boyfriend could finish and we could leave, the employee continued talking about what I had done to another worker. Especially in a place where people are handling firearms, clear instructions and professional behavior matter. I would have welcomed guidance and correction. Being a beginner should be a reason to offer instruction, not make someone feel ashamed. The way I was treated made this a very disappointing visit.

Let me add that Sundays they are open until 5...well the owner was outside with us until 530 ensuring that everything was fastened securely and that we understood how to do it properly. READ THIS BEFORE BRINGING YOUR BOW I've had multiple people…read morebring me their bows after having work done by Mike and it's a butcher job every time. The way peeps are tied is nonfunctional and easily moved, Cable driven arrow rest cords are just tied right to the cable instead of being spliced in and served. I would imagine string changes are being done without a drawboard because none of these bows are in time and they aren't checking the work being done. The bow I saw yesterday had 10+ degrees of cam lean and a cable making contact with the cam after getting it back from F&F. Giving a customer their bow back when the cable is rubbing against the cam is straight up dangerous; If you can't identify an issue like that and communicate it to the customer you shouldn't be pressing bows. Know what you want before going to a store like this. This store does have the best selection for Fire Arms and Ammunition. I believe the Ammunition is the cheapest in the State of Rhode Island. Knowing the make and model is one thing. knowing the number the D&L web site has for the fire arm you are looking for helps a sales clerk a lot. Before going into this store check out the D&L shooting Supplies Web site and get the number on the web site of the fire arm you are interested in on the web site then when you go into the store, you will be prepared and the sales clerk will be able to help you more. The store in General does things by the book. Although, I knew the make and model, didn't have the number from the D&L Web site of the Fire Arm I wanted. The Sales clerk Michael G 3133 was able to find what it was I was looking for. there are many type of fire arms the make and model I wanted, some with accessories and some without. So, having a model number from the D&L web site of the fire arm are a person wants helps the sales clerk find what you want. Michael G 3133 did a good job in helping me. The sale went well. Also, when I called to pick up the Fire Arm, the Sales clerk told me a person has 30 days to pick up the fire arm. If a person has a blue card it takes 7 days to pick up. Sometimes a person can't always pick up the fire arm on the 7th day, sometimes life gets busy, it is nice to know a person has 30 days.
