I had a great experience with Batteries Plus on Watson! I went there specifically to get help with a watch that needed a new battery but also needed help with getting the back cover off in order to replace the battery. I was greeted and asked what I needed help with. I spoke with Owen and he started helping with removal of the back cover and determining the correct battery needed. I looked around while he cared for the watch. They have so many other things I wasn't expecting! Car batteries! It makes sense now but I had never been in and really just expected home type battery needs. They also had fun lighting, and flashlights. Light bulbs in a variety of types. I had fun looking around. Owen got me squared away with the watch and battery replacement with a couple extra batteries for other needs. I asked a question about key fobs that they had advertised, and he gave me the info that I needed on approximate cost and such. Owen was friendly and helpful and I got what I needed. read more

Every time I come here there are extremely helpful and friendly staff members who help me with whatever random issue I have.

BEST customer service!!! During this recent snowstorm my car battery was dead in my garage. Batteries Plus in Webster Groves came to my home within 30 minutes and installed the battery for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I was only charged for the battery plus tax. Two employees came and one was the owner. I will always use them for my battery needs. read more

Even during a #pandemic and only providing #curbside service/sales, my experience today was top notch. There were two associates working and they were hustling it. The door to the store was locked for safety. There were a couple of us waiting our turn and as they'd bring out the purchase for the previous customer, they'd ask who was next. When it was my turn, I showed the young man the two type of bulbs I needed and the quantity of each. The older man working, came out with the bulb for my track lighting and informed me that that bulb was no longer made. He recommended, another one that he did have in stock. I agreed to purchase that one instead and when I got home, I actually like the light it makes better. I also, picked up some bulbs for my recessed lighting in the kitchen. I always take my used bulbs here for recycling. Today, however when I asked the younger associate if they were accepting recycling during the pandemic, he told me no. As, I was waiting for my order to be processed, I returned my bag of recycling to my car. As I was walking back to the storefront, the older man came back out and asked for my recycling. He said, since I was making a purchase, that they'd be happy to accept my used bulbs. When the young man brought my purchase out, he thanked me for my business and told me how much they appreciated it. I've said it before, if I need bulbs or batteries, this is my go to store. The customer service I have experienced here, has always been top notch. Will I return? - When a bulb burns out or I need a battery. When: May 23, 2020 Why: New Bulbs read more

This store is the world of batteries and all things batteries and oh, by the way bulbs too. The staff seems knowledgable and listen to what you need and the inventory seems very good. Not sure there are any bargains here but I think the products they sell here are of a higher quality than what you often get from Amazon via China. I think its THE place for hard to find batteries or if you need to get information on options. read more

I was really really happy with my purchase of a car battery until the next day when I looked at my credit card account and found out that they charged me 3 TIMES for the battery. The web site was having problems when I was ordering it online and somehow I GOT CHARGED 3 TIMES. No wonder they give you a online discount, they make up for it by charging you repeatedly. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!!! If you do be sure to check your account right away. I called right away to get it taken off, she said the charges would fall off in a couple of days, it's been 6 days and now they're telling me it could be 7-10 days not including weekend days before I get refunded. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE...REFUND MY MONEY PLEASE!!!!! I will not be ordering online again, and depending on how much longer this takes, not shopping there anymore! read more

I was directed by the Forest Park Batteries Plus to this store to replace a NiCad battery in an old shaver. He replaced it at this location with a new one, and the shaver is good to go. I'm glad to be able to reuse it, rather than trash it. read more

"How come I have been late all week?" In 5 minutes and $8.99 later, I had my answer. I know it is minor, and I may love them because they are in the neighborhood, but, these folks are great. No matter what the gadget, they have the juice. And, when it comes to my watch collection (no, I did not say obsession) I like to keep things running. So, don't just blow past the Batteries Plus near you, check it out, especially if you are running late! read more

Did you know that you can buy phone batteries from this place? And they have a guarantee warranty on them for almost life? After talking to the sales associate, which was on point by the way, I am sold that if I ever need a battery for anything I am coming here or to one of these stores. Not only did the associate answer everyone of my questions about batteries but he was even giving me comparisons to other places about prices and warranties. I was blown away with the knowledge that this associate had in his head. I felt bad that I didn't get my car battery from this place knowing I could of got a better deal. Definitely will be back. dp read more

This is by far the worst business I have ever been to. I went in to get my phone screen replaced because it had a mild crack on it. After I have dropped off my phone to be repaired I return and my home button does not work at all. My phone worked perfectly fine before. So they tell me to come back in an hour so that they can fix it. I come back and my home button works but my keyboard does not work. They tell me to come back in another hour so that they can fix the keyboard issue. I come back and it has not been fixed at all. They tell me that they can put my original slightly cracked screen back on so that my keyboard will function properly. I come back an hour later and they have replaced the screen with someone else's shattered screen. So now I have an even worse screen than I had before. These people have no idea what they are doing and you are wasting your time and money going here. Trash business. Trash customer service. read more

This place was completely unprofessional. The customer service lacked, extremely. They didn't care about the quality of my product, and didn't care that I had to make several trips for their mistakes. They made mistake after mistake fixing my phone screen, and they were only in it for the money and not customer satisfaction. They have no clue what they're doing... DO NOT GO HERE if you need your phone screen fixed. PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS!!! read more

I visited Batteries Plus after a small 3V lithium ion went out in in a piece of equipment I use for work. I checked Amazon and the aftermarket replacement was $6 plus $3 shipping. I decided to patronize a local business. Now I get it, I'm getting convenience and paying for some expertise at the store. I thought maybe this $6 battery would maybe $12 before tax. Imagine my surprise when the salesperson found a similar aftermarket replacement on the rack and happily announced "It's $45!!" I hope it didn't come across as rude, but I couldn't help but burst out in laughter. Sorry, no convenience is worth a 700% markup. read more

I visited this retailer for a new IPhone 6 battery and not long after I purchased it, it started to act up. It wouldn't hold a charge for even a day. At one point my phone flickered between a black screen and the Apple start up screen for an entire night-even while on the charger. When I went back, I was uneasy about leaving my phone with the man. He didn't enter any information into the computer system. That was last week-today I had to take my phone to a DIFFERENT location because the battery was loose inside my phone case! I called to ask for a refund from this location and was informed by Paul, the owner/manager, that he needed me to come in to HIS location for him to fix the battery-instead of issuing me a refund. When I requested this, he became defensive and told me, before he hung up on me, that I couldn't get it fixed at any other location. After visiting the DIFFERENT location today, I learned that any time you leave them a device, they are required to get your email to pull up your warranty and customer information. Needless to say, my phone is functional now. I will never step foot in this location again. read more

Worst customer service ever! Called us to come in to have key fob reprogrammed. First one malfunctioned. After showing up twice, because apparently only Matt can do this job, he tells us he can't do it. This is after 2 phone calls from Matt telling us that yes, he can take care of it. We won't be back. read more

I purchased a car battery at this business in April 2009. The battery was fine up until winter when I started to notice that the battery was getting weak. By October of 2010 the battery would not hold a charge for more than 4-5 days unless i drove the car daily, which I do not as we are retired and pretty much use only one car now. I returned the battery to the store, under their full replacement warranty, and was told that "there is nothing wrong with this battery, the problem may be in the car and draining it." My auto mechanic however had a much different opinion. He laughed when I told him about taking it back and said "2 bad cells does not make a good battery" Needless to say, I have purchased a new battery from a different retailer and will NEVER purchase anything from this retailer again. read more

Hi, the Batteries Plus in Creve Coeur has been very good to SSD, but the store on Watson Road (Yorkshire Shopping Center in Webster Groves) has gone above and beyond. Whenever we need boxes for school, they are very generous. They set them aside which takes up space and they carry them out to my car. When I was telling my son about them, he said the guys in the Watson Road store had been great to him as well. We appreciate their kindness. read more

I have been to this store three times for three different battery needs, and they are 0 for 3 in being able to help me. I wonder if they really have any batteries? On my visit today, I needed a simple cell phone battery, but they did not have it. Further, they said they could order it but it would take a week and a half to get here. A week and a half! Nothing takes that long to get anywhere in America anymore. I could order a sofa right now from Amazon and it would be here tomorrow afternoon! One itsy bitsy battery takes a week and a half?! Where is it coming from, Mars? I guess I'm through with Batteries Plus, at least this location. read more
