I needed a light bulb and from my last visit to the location on Watson I knew Batteries Plus possibly carried what I needed. I stopped in the Ritz center location as it was closer to where I was running errands. The parking lot is a little odd now with QT right next door, but I found a spot close to the entrance, and it was not a big deal. I was greeted promptly on entry, and I explained what I needed. Kobee was helpful and since they didn't have an exact match in the LED I wanted he indicated I could return or exchange. I was being nosy and asked if this store was associated with the one on Watson. He said his store was a corporate store and the Watson store was a Franchise. Either way, both stores were bright and clean, very helpful employees and had lots of other items beyond batteries, I guess that is the plus! read more

This is my go to store for batteries & light bulbs. My home has some lighting fixtures that use unusual bulbs, and I can always find them here. True, I could probably find them on line. But, I prefer to go to a brick and mortar store with the old bulbs and know for sure I'm getting the right replacement. Super friendly and efficient service from Carl today. read more

Very very helpful. Have never not been able to find a battety I was looking for. Salesman pointed out a 2 pack of LED 60 watt equivalent light bulbs they sold with a price of $10.99. Ameren U.E. was giving a $6.00 rebate and Batteries Plus took off .99 for a price of $4.00 a pack.. Bought 1 pack went home to see how they look and went back c or 4 more pa ks. I had seen on TV in several cities that in general, Batteries Plus Bulbs will fix broken iPhones. I needed to have my phone repaired because I drop on concrete floors rather frequently when I'm at work. I dropped it, and the crystal on the cover shattered. It's something that annoys me. I went to the one in St. Peters and didn't have time to get it fixed there, so they referred me to this particular store. I was in the area because of my work schedule and decided to go there. I went there, and explained what happened. John, the technician said that he could fix it, so I left it and my information for them to call me. They called me; I got it and went back to work. Except that it didn't work right. It turned out that it was a defective screen but John, the technician didn't know that when he fixed it. Since it was covered under warranty, he replaced it with no extra charge. What pleased me so much was that he went above and beyond to make it right, and there are not a lot of places that will do that anymore. When something was wrong with the phone, he went beyond what other stores would have done to make it right. That was good for me, and I left very pleased. In addition, they were friendly and nice to me which would not have happened at some other stores not affiliated with Batteries Plus. read more

I took my iPhone 8 in for a simple screen repair. Everything worked on the phone, and the "tech" told me to come back in an hour. When I returned, he said an internal piece came apart so they'd have to take the phone to the Ballwin store to have it fixed. He told me to come back the next afternoon. I did, and the phone was still in Ballwin. Why? Because the tech started to work on it but dropped oil on the motherboard, and then he left for the day. The following day was his day off. Two days without a phone to save $50 by not taking it to the Apple store wasn't worth it. Even worse, when I finally received the "fixed" phone, 3D Touch doesn't work, Siri voice commands are iffy at best, and the screen shakes when I scroll. Do not bring your electronics to these stores! The techs aren't certified--it's worth the money and safety to have the manufacturer fix things! read more

Ordered online classic bait and switch after you order and pay for your item .they tell you about additional charges. Like battery core fee's. Then you go to get what you ordered and it's not what you paid for at all they say online you get a 750 cold cranking amp battery but thin tried to give me a 710 cranking amp battery. No reason to do that when the automobile says 750 bait and switch. Horrible place to do business read more

I was looking for affordable batteries for my father's golf cart. I was very pleased to see that batteries plus had affordable option for these. The online ordering process was very easy and they even offered a 10% discount for ordering online. When I got to the south county store they were incredibly helpful in finalizing this transaction. They even unloaded my six old batteries and loaded my six new ones for me. They made sure to refund my core deposits. I will definitely be visiting the store again in the future for any of my battery and bulb needs. read more

Shattered the screen on my Android phone, luckily it was under warranty and Squaretrade sent me here to have it replaced. They did a great job and had it done within just a couple of hours. My only complaint is that someone should have warned me that the phone is no longer water resistant once the screen and/or back glass have to be replaced. I didn't think to ask and now only a few weeks later my phone was exposed to water and is destroyed. If I had known it wasn't water resistant as it usually is I would have been much more careful with it. So had to file a 2nd claim with Squaretrade and pay a higher deductible as it is unrepairable. Not their fault the accident happened of course, I just feel like they should warn customers. read more

I needed a new cell phone battery so I heard they sold them here. The gentleman that helped my grandma and I was so extremely polite and knowledgeable. Not sure what the name was but the receipt says TCLEMENTS. I was beyond pleased with how nice and helpful he was. He answered all my questions and even sold my grandma a couple LED bulbs. It was so nice to work with someone who cares about customers. That's a rare finding these days. I ordered a part for my phone I which they said they could replace. I wanted it by Christmas and they said, no problem it would be in by dec 21. I called on the 21st and it was not there and they told me the 23rd. I called on the 23rd and they said it wasn't there and the manager would call me in the morning (of the 24th). I didn't receive a call. It is now Jan 5 and I didn't receive a call, so I called to follow up. Turns out it was never ordered. They did say 'sorry'. So I am now off to go to the phone Surgeons and hopefully I will be able to leave a stellar review about their service. I would not trust this place or order anything again. read more
