They sold me rechargeable batteries specifically for a vape that are specifically engineered not to fit in a vape because it would blow up in your face but would not refund them because I had opened the package to find out that they didn't fit. They sold me a battery charger for them that they wouldn't even fit in and that wouldn't even register smaller batteries presence when they were inserted. They managed to get it to register the smaller batteries for about 10 seconds after spending about 3-4 minutes tinkering with them. Durring that time it was indicating that that all batteries inserted were faulty including the perfectly good one I had brought from home. Every area needs a store like this. They have all kinds of specialty batteries for vehicles, phones, camcorders, and so on. They also carry LED bulbs and flashlights. Service so far has been very good. Competition: More expensive than Amazon, but you can be sure you're getting the right battery. Very similar to Interstate Batteries. The atmosphere is kinda like Radio Shack used to be, but I wouldn't go to RS now for batteries. No compelling reason to choose over Sears for automotive batteries. read more

Don't stupidly take your car ignition/key fob cuz your car indicator light came on to change the battery ( like it won't start very soon because battery getting low). I was charged $28.00 for them to change 2 cr2032 3 V batteries on key fobs. Came home and checked Amazon- 4 batteries for $6.00. I'm so pissed at myself assuming a special tool was needed to change the battery. Clerk on 132nd & Center reluctantly did not hide his tool from me and offered 22.00 for a lifetime battery change per battery. What a racket. After being left without a good working cell phone battery on 7/15, I was finally able to take time off(just in case I had to talk to a manager), I went to the 90th St location and helped even though my information wasn't in the system. He simply asked about the battery's behavior, gave me a new one, and reinterred my information into the system and sent me on my way, happy. After my car wouldn't start one day after work, I took my battery to Batteries Plus so that it could be tested. I was prepared to purchase a replacement, if needed. After fiddling with the tester for several minutes, the clerk said that it was too low to test. No worries, he said that I could leave it there so it could be charged over night and re-tested for no charge. I called the following day and I was told that they were re-testing it at that moment. A few minutes later I was told that the battery was good. I picked it up, re-installed it and drove off. The next day, my car wouldn't start again. After a jump, I drove to the Firestone where they tested it and told me the battery was bad. The end result was hassle and the need to purchase the battery elsewhere. Based on this experience, I will not go back to Batteries Plus and will instead visit Husker Battery. I'm still not sure why the clerk would give up a sale if the battery was bad unless they failed to test it, couldn't figure out how to test it, or lied. read more

Store Manager Chris Pelach lacks proper business ethics and refused to pay for an item that was ruined while in the care of his store. The store accidentally short-circuited a pricy Norelco men's razor that I brought in for a routine battery replacement and Mr. Pelach, being the person who authorizes refunds, did not examine the item or speak to me in person; he just decided that he would refuse to compensate me for the razor in any way. So I think that it is safe to say that Mr. Pelach can expect that I will be seeking legal relief through other means, and that not only will he be hearing from me very soon, but I will be posting the longer, fuller version of this incident with other online reputation sources, as well as contacting the corporate offices of the Batteries Plus Bulbs franchise, so that they know the character of who is representing their brand. There are plenty of identical battery and repair shops in Omaha; my recommendation to you is that you find one whose manager is more honest and ethical than Mr. Chris Pelach. read more

I brought my iPhone here to get my cracked screen fixed. They fixed the screen perfectly for a great price. After I got my phone back I noticed my front camera was fuzzy and there was a weird pixelated look to my pictures so I took my phone back in the next day and showed them the picture quality. Got my battery replaced in my iPhone 6s+. I made a same day appointment online and got a $10 coupon. They did the replacement in an hour. When my phone was returned to me it looked like new. No damage, they even cleaned the charging port and headphone jack. So far the new battery seems to be performing well. Plugged it into my Mac and used coconut battery app and verified it is correct capacity. Price with coupon was $20 less then the Apple store and average with other phone repair shops. I've purchased several batteries at this location in the past I purchased a used drone and the battery wouldn't charge. They tested it and confirmed the battery was no good. Ordered a new battery and picked it up s few days later. When I got home and looked at it realized it was not the correct battery so took it back and received s refund. It has been awhile since I have replaced the battery in my truck key (to lock and unlock) so to avoid hassle I stopped by battery's plus to have them replace the battery in my key, it worked right after they replaced the battery but I had to push the button 3 or 4 times to get it to work, I was on my lunch and didn't have time to go back in and ask them to open it back up.......the next day I found myself calling AAA to get me into my truck. After getting home I opened up the key and saw what they had done wrong ....when they snapped the two sides together the foam around the outside was way off center.
