Pro's: Great place to get a variety of LED's. Love their business hours as well. There are two staff members that are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Cons: There are two staff members (wish I'd gotten their names/both very dark haired) that don't have a clue about customer service. They come across like unfriendly robots. Whatever happened to greeting a customer with a smile and saying how can I help you. If I hadn't started the conversation I would still be standing there. Since I'm a regular customer I've had this treatment more than once. I will never go back. read more

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Had my screen replaced on my iPhone 6S. The replace was completed really quickly, and they called when it was completed. Price was reasonable, and there is a 6 month warranty on the screen. In addition, I was able to use a $10 off coupon on the repairs. read more

I have been to this location several times for various needs and they always have what I need on hand. The staff is super helpful and pleasant to interact with. They have a lot of items you'd not really be expecting to find that make for fun gifts or personal impulse buys. Highly recommended. read more

On 8/4 2018, I visited the store to have a cracked screen replaced on my Samsung S-8 phone(less than a year old). The clerk also talked me into a screen protector -- Total cost $254.82. It was never mentioned that this Business is not a Samsung authorized dealer whose work is not supported by Samsung, therefore the guarantee is nullified. In January of this year I spilled water on my phone. Samsung phones are water resistant and this should not have been a problem. Because of improper setting of the screen, the water seeped into the phone, the battery was soaked and the phone could not be salvaged (per authorized Samsung dealership) Initial phone cost $700. I contacted Batteries + Bulbs by e-mail on their site and indicated that a gesture toward their repair cost would be welcomed. To date I have not received a reply from the store. To say the least I am very disappointed, I will not return to this store and will not recommend it to anyone. As a resident of Olympia for 45 years and at times self employed, we always believed in supporting local businesses. read more

I was having problems with iPhone, after an update the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I took the phone to Verizon and they sold me a new $800 phone. As an after thought I stopped at this store and Joe fixed my phone with a new battery. No problems. Likely I'll keep the new phone because I switched to an android. Twice I've needed batteries that were only available online and not at any of the big box stores (although I didn't check radio shack). Both times I came to this store and they had the battery I needed. Come here for your obscure battery needs or shop online and wait for it to get mailed to you. read more

So I purchased a battery for my Acura about 1.5 years ago from Batteries Plus in West Olympia, from an employee named Joe. At that time Joe consulted me on what type of battery was best for my vehicle and also provided different options at different price points. He thoroughly answered my questions and explained things in layman terms. I'm in finance and work with numbers all day and am fairly sharp in my understanding of things. But when it comes to mechanics and automotive things, I'm absolutely illiterate. That being said Joe advised me in a professional manner and made sense of all things to consider when buying a car battery, who knew of all the variables? Anyways fast forward to today I rec'd an alert from my vehicle alerting me that I'm losing charge in my battery. I called Batteries Plus and they said to drive over if I can or remove the battery and bring it in. Well, I drove straight there and I found out that Joe was still working there and he helped me again and tested my battery. He diagnosed that my alternator is most likely going bad and the battery was a low but still within functional parameters. So he said to try and get my car to my mechanic as soon as possible and have him run an alternator test to pinpoint the root cause of the issue. But as I was literally trying to pull out of their parking lot the battery lost enough of a charge that my vehicle was not operable. So Joe called his boss and advocated for me and he got his boss to approve a warranty replacement due to the fact that the battery was testing on the low side. So by him advising me of purchasing the right battery that came with a warranty over 1.5 years ago and him advocating to his boss to do a replacement, tonight they have earned my business for any type of battery I may ever need in the future. Thank you Joe and Batteries Plus of Olympia! Oh did I mention that he took out the old battery and put the new one in with out me having to do any work but watch him. I went looking for a really hard to find battery and I brought mine in as an example. They took a look at my battery and found out that it had a disconnected cable. They tested my batteries and connected it back up. They were able to fix it without even charging me for the simple fix. I was so impressed by their honesty and friendly staff that I felt compelled to provide them a positive rating. I highly recommend this store for your battery needs. read more
