There seems to be a common thread in the negative reviews of this business, and I can confirm a lot of the things mentioned. A few months ago, I took my daughter's phone to Rapid Repair to have the screen fixed. I was told that it would be ready in a couple of days, which turned into more than two weeks. Logan claimed he had a "family emergency", which I understood, of course. On December 31, 2025, I took my other daughter's cell phone in for the same issue. Once again, Logan told me that I could pick it up in a couple of days and that he would call or text me when it was ready. I paid $186 up front and, as of today (01/22/2026), I'm still waiting to hear from him. Not only has he not responded to my numerous voice mails and texts, but the business has been closed every time I've stopped by in person and the website is not active anymore. I filed complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General a few days ago, and apparently I'm not the only one who has done so. FIND ANOTHER BUSINESS!! This company is the WORST!!! I've been dealing with them since August 2024. Paid money. Just got my device back in January 2025. Device isn't fixed. I was told I would get a refund because of how long it took them to get my device back. Of course that still hasn't happened. Now they are avoiding my calls and text. Which I shouldn't be surprised because that has been what I've dealt with since August. I've reached out to the police station, Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General is next. One person shop and He simply does not communicate! I called, left messages, emailed, iMessage'd and texted 14 TIMES. He NEVER replied until the last day then wanted me to be there within a half-hour window because he had to leave. What was supposed to be a fix in one day turned into one week! I have never dealt with any business that did this. He needs some business classes. He's a young man with children and I generally will tip 25% and then post on my neighborhood FB page to recommend a business, but I could not do that. He told us he gave us a discount. So BEWARE about this business RAPID REPAIR owner name LOGAN. We paid him $256.78 no receipts. He kept our phone for over 2 months with little communication totally ignored our calls and texts and gave us so many excuses about Covid (completely understand) then he gave us his excuse about his family his house his 2 jobs his employee and finances and so forth...Logan (owner) knows that we've been patiently good to him but we got ignored 98% until we got so frustrated to the point we filled a complaint. If you have a complaint about his services call this number at 1-800-551-4636 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Be patient filling up the complaint form because it's worth it. Updated: After 2 months we finally got our phone back (since October to December 16, 2020 around 7pm) because we kept threatening him about it and showing him how frustrated we are. My iphone 10 had gotten water damage by being outside in the rain, I thought they were water proof..nope! My screen was shot and would only partially work. I went into my provider to ask them how much to get this fixed and they said it would be more than you have left on your phone to pay, which was allot of $$$. it wasn't just the screen it was the LCD (I don't know what that meant), I was super bummed, wishing I would of had insurance on my phone!! Very pleased with this repair company. He was able to diagnose and repair in 20-30 minutes. Didn't try to push up sells. I asked about the battery on it and he showed me how I could find out whether it might need to be changed so I could make the decision myself. They sent me an invoice for $87 in September 2020 to buy a new speaker for my LG stylo 5 that buzzes after I dropped it. I spoke to the guy a couple times to connect for a mobile repair, but he was always out of town. Now he does not answer his phone and the website is down. I am writing an updated review. I have pasted my previous review below. Please see the attached photo of the manager's conversation with me. Two months ago Logan, the manager, contacted me to ask if I could change my review to a four or five star rating in exchange for a refund. I let him know I wasn't comfortable fabricating a review, but I would take it down if I received a refund. After waiting for a month, I wrote to him, since I still had not received a refund. He said it was too late to refund it on my card, but I could come in person. I let him know that I moved out of state and would like a refund mailed to me. I have received nothing. In retrospect, I completely wish I would have had it repaired by Apple, so my repair would have been done correctly and my warranty would have been salvaged. This company is unreliable, dishonest and unprofessional. I would avoid using them at all costs. Previous review I had an absolutely terrible experience. I brought my iPad mini in for screen repair. Tony quoted 100 dollars for the repair and said it would be an hour. We walked around the mall, and when we returned he said he needed to order a part, so we would need to leave it with him. I was apprehensive about leaving such a valuable item without a receipt, but Tony said they don't issue receipts. I requested an email confirmation. He finally acquiesced, sending an email with only basic contact info. He said it should be ready within a few days, but after a week I hadn't heard anything. I called the store and was told that the repair would actually cost 150 dollars since Tony did not realize what type of iPad it was. Tony said he had not ordered the part, since there was a new price. No one had called me to discuss this. He had already voided my warranty by opening the screen. When I complained to the manager, he agreed with hesitation to honor the original price, stating he was doing me a favor. The iPad screen took 4 weeks to fix. When I picked it up, I couldn't help but notice the employee, who I had never met, gave it to me without verifying it was mine. I just pointed to it. When I brought it home, I realized the finger recognition feature no longer worked. I called, and the manager agreed to order a part to correct this problem and call when it was ready. This was several months ago, and I have not been contacted. To make matters worse, the software no longer updates. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

Screws missing, parts not functioning after repair, "top of the line work" are you kidding me?? IF YOU NEED IT REPAIRED, GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE TLDR at bottom Had my Galaxy S4 repaired a few months ago by these guys (broken LCD). Cost was $175 for a new LCD and labor. Normally I choose to repair my electronics myself because of experience, but this time I felt it would be easier just to pay them to do it. (BAD IDEA) Phone seemed fine at first when I got it back except for the metal bezel around the screen being broken in many spots and with new scratches on the screen that had not been there previously (the guys explained hurriedly that in the repair process those things just happen and if I wanted new glass, I needed to pay more) Later I got home and noticed the LED notification light didn't work. Nor did the vibrate function. There also were dead spots on the touchscreen so swype could no longer function properly. (Unrelated but it's really fishy when I picked up my phone, I just pointed out which one it was and he handed it over. Wasn't even the same guy who I gave it to originally and he didn't ask to see a receipt or confirmation, ID, anything! What's to stop a random person from walking off with your iPad/iPhone/Android, w/e?) Fast forward to today when I stupidly dropped my phone (in a very thick case this time) and the screen broke again! Okay that's all my fault, I can't blame anyone for me dropping my phone. So, deciding I would look into the repairs myself, I opened up the inside of my phone and found when these guys "repaired" my phone THEY DIDN'T PUT ANY SCREWS BACK INSIDE IT!! NONE, NOT A SINGLE ONE! Screws holding the structural back panel covering the motherboard? GONE. Screws securing the motherboard? GONE. Screws securing the LED, front and back cameras, headphone and USB plugins? GONE. The ONE screw that connects from the motherboard to the display housing? GONE. Thanks to how badly rapid "repair" threw my phone back together, I was able to strip down my phone to just its components in 5 minutes and without needing my tools because there was NOTHING holding them in place! Think about it, a phone is made like a sandwich with lots of thin layers stacked up. Screws go through all of those layers and secure them together giving one, rigid structure. Without those screws, it's just a bunch of loose layers held by ribbon cables and tiny plastic clips. Not putting the screws back in isn't repair, it's sabotage! No wonder my LCD broke after one drop, my phone didn't have ANY sort of rigid structure thanks to rapid "repair". Finally, when I finished poking around inside my phone and seeing all the damage these guys did "repairing" it, I manged to fix the vibrate function AND LED notification because they didn't properly seat the connectors! TLDR-They will fix your phone, but they intentionally or idiotically leave screws out of your phone making it much weaker. They will overcharge you for a service that they don't even perform adequately. If you need it repaired, go anywhere but here! (What's worse is a verified Samsung OEM Amoled display with digitizer and housing, shipped and ready to be used is $100 online, while these guys charged me $175 JUST TO REPLACE THE LCD) read more

I'm giving two stars because the staff was friendly but I have to be honest: they broke my phone, took several weeks to try to fix it, then had the audacity to ask if I would just take my broken phone back, accept a refund for their time and effort in breaking my phone and call it even, since they would be losing money at this point. Thankfully when I declined that proposed resolution, they ordered a refurbished replacement phone without further argument, but honestly that replacement is a bit buggy and I wish I had taken it somewhere that would have been more careful with the initial repair. More background: I brought my phone in with a cracked screen. Understandably, they needed to order the screen which took some time, so I wasn't there when they installed it. The type of phone I have doesn't have a home button, it's more of a sensor. It didn't move. When I picked it up a week or so later, the sensor was wiggling and not flush with the rest of the screen. I asked about it and the guy said they bent the piece that holds the sensor in place when they were installing the screen. He said they would try to fix it and I left the phone with them. In trying to fix it, they broke the screen again. No big deal, just had to wait for a new screen to arrive and a replacement for the bent piece, which took some more time. They got the new screen installed and the sensor was closer to being flush with the screen, and at least not wiggling any more. Unfortunately that screen was defective. When I used the touch screen, it did not recognize the touch in the correct location, making the phone next to impossible to use. They tried to figure it what was wrong and couldn't. That's where they called it and asked me to take it back. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! STAY AWAY! I got my phone repaired at their mall kiosk right before covid. I paid over $250 for them to repair my screen and another piece by the camera. I didn't notice for a week or so that my camera didn't work when turned around "selfie mode" and the face recognition no longer works. When the mall opened back up I went three different times in hopes they would be there. They weren't. I checked their facebook page and it says they are doing mobile repairs. So I texted the phone number they have listed. I got a reply, We texted back and forth, I told them what was going on with my phone, they asked my name and then I got silence. I gave it a few days and texted back asking if they would please respond. Nothing. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. I paid them over $250 for a 10 minute phone repair and they don't have the decency to respond and help me. I'm sure the piece they replaced just needs to be tweaked and it would work but they won't even respond. Since they don't have an actual place of business I guess they feel they can ignore customers. First let me tell you how skeptical I was about bringing my phone to an aftermarket repair center. I wouldn't have considered the option without the multiple referrals I had to this specific company. I had insurance on the phone I repaired and I work for Verizon so I could have gone that route through my carrier but I decided to give this a shot, (saved me time on not having to set up a new phone, transfer all my info, wait for the device to ship to me). KC provided excellent customer service, was timely and professional. I had my shattered phone looking brand new again within 30 minutes. I'm happy! I didn't do a lot of price shopping, but the guy did a beautiful job fixing my phone in 20 minutes at a cost far cheaper than the replacement price. It was $99 to replace the completely-shattered glass on an iPhone 5S after a car or two had run over it. And to the guy who "caught" the owner playing World of Warcraft at the kiosk -- WHO CARES!? Seriously so pissed . I was referred to rapid repair by multiple people to get my phone fixed, so I went in spoke to Jacob he told me he'd order the part and it'd be ready in a week. Went in after a week my part hadn't even been shipped yet, talked to Logan he said they'd keep contact with me and let me know what's going on. I Had to be the one to text them whenever I wanted to know the status on my phone because they never bothered to let me know what was going on unless I went in or texted them first. So 2 weeks pass by and my phone screen finally comes in. I text Logan that morning he tells me it'll be ready that night and that he'd text me the price in a few minutes, HOURS went by and I never received a text. I finally went in about an hour before close and my phone was just sitting there on the desk ready to go, yet NOBODY bothered to notify me. So obviously I asked for a discount because 1. I waited way longer than I was told to get my phone fixed & 2. I was told they would communicate stats with me and they never once did unless I brought it up first. I wasn't asking for a free repair, I was just asking for a discount . 10% would've been fine but no, they refuse to discount me anything after waiting for so long and not keeping to their word about communicating with me either. Took my phone here on 09/25/2017 and paid a total of $140.00 to get my phone fixed which is a lot of money for me being a single mom with very limited income. I had to get the screen repaired because the LCD was broken and the screen was completely black. Two hours later I put the phone to my ear to use it like normal and it cracked on the earpiece and shattered the entire screen. The earpiece is now not working so I can only talk on speakerphone!! I came back today 09/26/2017 to let him know what happened he told me that he could repair it for the same price!!! Really I came back not even 24 hours later and I use my phone as its supposed to be used and you can't repair it for free??These screens aren't glass like they are supposed to be they are plastic and cheap! On 09/24/2017 I was there shopping for prices and I over heard the associate telling another customer about there "guaranteed warranty"....so I guess that only applies to some people. This is a tough review for me. On one hand, I love small businesses and I'm glad that this is a small business started by 1 young man. Entrepreneurship is amazing and should be rewarded. I had a screen replaced after cracking it. I'd only had my phone for 4 months. The repair was a little slower than quoted, but it was done and I thought it was done well. I had a tempered screen installed right after the repair and my s-pen (Samsung Note) wasn't working. I assumed it was the tempered glass. Just last week, my battery started to drain too quickly and the speaker didn't work. Since, this should be a warranty issue I sent the phone to Samsung and had to remove the tempered glass to do that. The S-Pen still doesn't work. Samsung stated that I voided my warranty by having the screen repair done. So, now I have a phone with a non-fully functioning screen and I can't get my warranty repair done. In short, the service was pretty good here, but the product fell short of expectations. read more
