Between the hour spent online with Apple and the dismissive attitude from Best Buy Alex was able to correctly diagnose the issue I had with my iPhone, and saved me money because the scripted response I received from Apple online would have had me buy a unneeded new battery. I have always recieved good service here. I was in today for deep cell 12v batteries. Therea a shortage due to shipping/ covid so pickings almost everywhere are slim. The counterguy found a a pair in the series size i need....before I could make a.move he had both of them in eitjer hand and lugged them to my truck....I hadnt even paid for them yet. Theyve been great chasing down parts when I come on waving a tiny battery for a key fob or a wierd bulb for a trailer. read more

My phone wasn't repaired properly. I went elsewhere for 2nd and 3rd opinions which proved Batteries Plus to failed in digitizer/screen replacement. Batteries Plus continues to tell me my frame is bent beyond repairable. On a mint condition phone? Yea I don't think so, nice excuse to try and cover up your failed repair. The only thing this place is probably good for is Batteries, let's hope those work correctly. read more

Don't take your phone here for repair. They don't use the right parts and don't honor their warranty. They don't do it right and they will lie to your face and tell your phone was fixed correctly when it clearly was not. The customer service is awful. read more

I went to this store in search of a laptop battery which I found but was a little on the expensive side. I purchased it anyway because they did have a refund policy and I needed one immediately. I did end up returning the battery and requesting a refund. One of the associates told me when I first bought it that refunds were no problem. When I came back I was told that refunds had to go to corporate and then you would recieve a check minus a fee. Oh yeah and the check would have to be mailed to me. The manager wasn't rude but wasn't nice about it either. I felt it was misleading to say at purchase time you give refunds then later say oh yeah we are going to mail it to you. Incompetent staff pretty much ruined my iPhone after I brought it here for screen repair. Do yourself a favor and take your phone to the Apple Store or you will regret it and end up replacing it again. Problems I now have: - They use a cheaper screen material that is not as sensitive as the real Apple glass. Typing is much more difficult now. - They were having troubles getting the phone to close and scratched the heck out of my black iPhone trying to get it back together. The screen is still loose at the top left part of the phone - My phone developed a black mark on the side of the screen roughly a week after taking it here. - The phone will now randomly start "typing" even when I am not touching the screen. This has caused my phone to lock out, mistype words frequently, etc. - You cannot use your phone with sunglasses on. The lower quality screen does work when you have polarized lenses on. Google this and you will see it is a common problem when places use cheap screens. read more

Went there to get a single mini fluorescent bulb, was told they can only get a case of 20 for $8 each, then was told no it's a case of 40 for $11 each.? Maybe they should buy the case and keep them in stock! There is a whole community that has all the same fixtures. read more

My iPhone 5 was just about useless because of the battery. I went to the Apple Store but the wanted $75 plus a 45 minute wait just to talk with someone. I went online and found Batteries Plus and took advantage of their $10 discount by making a reservation online. The next day I was there for my appointment on time and out just 10 minutes later with a new battery for just $50. I feel it was a good price and was certainly pleased with the service. read more

I thought the person behind the counter was rude and unprofessional. I went in to order a battery and they told me when it would be in and I never heard from them. So I waited an extra day and went in to check on it. When I went in they told me they did t have time to check for my order after waiting 10 minutes in line with no one behind me. After I get to the front of the line people started to come in behind me. They told me they were too busy with the line of customers to look for my order in the back. Apparently my money is not good enough for them. I will not be going back. It easier to order from another vendor online and I get it quicker. I don't recommend to anyone to go here. read more

Took my sisters phone for a screen repair, I was there on a late Friday night. I knew it would not get done that same night, keeping in mind there was less than hour left before closing time. The associate told me it would be ready Saturday morning and the amount to pay would be $159.99 + tax (i had a $10 discount for scheduling online) To which I told him was okay. I got a call Saturday afternoon to let me know they did not have the correct screen for the phone to where I was told they had ordered another and would be given another discount for the inconvenience. Now, the ordered piece would arrive by Monday. I called Monday, piece still had not arrived. It's the holidays, things can arrive late. I completely understood. Come Tuesday, no one bothered to call me and let me know the piece had arrived. My sister called Tuesday afternoon to get an update to where the associate told her they had received the piece earlier that day and would start working on it. That was only because my sister called, or that would have been another extra day without her phone. To top it off, we still got charged the original amount. More professionalism should be demonstrated in these situations. Good customer service is essential when dealing with customers. read more

Had the best experience here! My iPhone got water damage and was unable to turn on. They were able to identify the problem and fix it within an hour. Very friendly staff, the manager was extremely helpful as well. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here rather than Genius Phone repair, as they told me they would need to keep my phone for 3-4 days. On the plus side, since they still used my original phone parts, they did not charge me! read more

I have used Batteries Plus for a long time. These are some of the reasons. They keep records of all my purchases and I DO NOT need to have the receipts on me for and exchange or credit. I love their watch battery life time warranty. Yes, you have to pay more, but they remove the old battery and install the new one AND I never have to pay for a watch battery as long as the watch works. (expensive watches need to go to Jewelry Stores). They have good sales, and David (at the Mishawaka, IN store) is an excellent sales man AND customer service person as well. If I have a problem with needing a replacement battery, Batteries Plus is located in almost every state and would honor the same above guarantees. read more

I came in here expecting a quick fix on my cracked gold iPhone 5. while it was a minor crack it annoyed me so I figured I'd pay the price to replace it as they advertised. I went with my at the time 4 year old brother, expecting it to be a 20 min ordeal ( I dropped it off 2 hours before). after waiting an hour, they told me the screen they orsered didn't fit right but they could put a black screen on it although it would look different. already being tired of the wait, I said sure. then, after another 45 minutes of waiting, they told me that screen wasnt working either. their next solution was to have me wait 2 weeks to wait for another screen or I simply would have to go home with a non working phone. with an annoyed and clearly exhausted 4 year old i said Id wait. after a week they then told me they actually couldn't fix my phone bc it was my fault that my phone was incompatible bc of "the nature of the crack". I went home with a completely unusable phone and no refund. read more

My battery in my iPhone 6 was going out after 2 years of use and I needed a replacement. After just 1 month, my replacement was depleted and I was forced to go back again. This time they messed up a cable connection so my screen wouldn't turn off when I was making a call leading to my face hitting buttons on the screen. This also caused my screen to break a few days later. When I went back in they replaced the screen and the battery again. The screen is slightly muted from straight on and yellow when looked at from an angle. The battery they put in with the screen also was horrible. It also messed up the microphone making calls and Siri only usable when headphones are plugged in. I was out $150 for the repairs and in then end had to buy a whole new phone because the damages caused by the shop made it virtually unusable. Would recommend this shop if you have plenty of money and don't mind burning a bit of it for absolutely nothing in return. read more
