They do not honor their battery warranty. Deep cycle batteries went bad a little after a year. I was told because I use solar as part of my RV charging system I voided the warranty. I also use a multi stage charger and my trucks alternator to charge. Literally 3 different ways of keeping batteries healthy and full-time use monitoring is not good enough! read more

Total amateurs here. Wasted so much time at this damn store only to have more problems than when I first came in. Initially I went in to get a new phone battery because mine had swollen and apparently needed a new one. First of all it took over two weeks to get the battery in the mail, and also they never called me when it arrived so I had to call them 2 days after it arrived. Took the phone in to get repaired and when I got it back there were Dead pixels on the screen and the back of the phone wasn't completely flush. I have used "u break I fix" in Boulder before to fix the backing of my phone and they did a professional job in about an hour and there was no open seem at all. So I know it can be done correctly, these guys just didnt. Dropped the phone off and came back two hours later only to be told by the employee, that I dealt with two hours earlier, that he doesn't recognize me and has not seen a phone like mine all day. This is ridiculous, you guys can't remember something that was two hours ago? So now I have to wait for them to order a screen because they broke mine in the process, they don't have the correct color so who knows how long this is going to take. This isnt an isolated incident because the guy that was standing in line before me also had a screen broken by these guys in the same fashion. Oh yeah, spent at least an hour and a half waiting in the store overall, yes there were computer issues, but waiting in line 3 different UPDATE......Management totally made up for this whole thing!! They fired the employee that broke my phone, and other people's phone too apparently. Jesse, Juan, and Ashtin did their best to fix my phone, but when that didn't exactly work out they decided a new phone was in order. Got the new phone and all is well! I totally understand that mistakes happen and they really do care about customer service here. If you have any problems they will definitely help you out until you are happy. This is the way it should be, great job and thank you all! Very sorry it led to someone losing their job but quality control is more important. Also Mike, regional manager, was great. He called to make sure that things got resolved and was very friendly as well. So, in summation, a mistake made by one employee shouldn't reflect on a company as a whole. As you can see they actually do care, and I really didn't have to fight them at all. More than willing to do whatever it took. I will be back, thanks to all! read more

NO STARS. Horrible horrible store! Incompetent employees are rude and unwilling to sell customers the correct battery. Jan 2016 ordered batteries Feb 2016 called to see if ready, not ready... Mar 2016 called again still not ready April 2016 walked into the store... Left with no battery. I waited two months for a simple AAA battery pack that costs less than $5. A very common STOCK item. I walked into the Boulder store this morning to see if I could get the battery, this is what she said in a not so nice tone " we tried calling several times so we unbuilt the batteries you ordered and it will take me all day to build a new one. Can you come back after 3:00?" I left the store and called the Longmont store and they said they can have it ready for me in 5 minutes. Batteries Plus Store in Boulder Colorado is a Horribly operated location and should have every employee retrained or fired. read more

I recommend you take your iPhone to Apple. Here's why: I took my phone in for a battery replacement on Feb 6th, 2017. When I picked it up, the battery worked fine, but the headphone jack did not. No problem, he said, he can fix that. Bring it back in. I did. When I got it back, the headphone jack worked, but the home button and speaker (that you use to make make calls with) did not. Okay--another "appointment" (waiting around--they do not have real appointments). When I got it back, the speaker and home button worked. Yay! But the screen was jumpy when I tried to swipe. Sorry--we'll have to replace your screen. I had 5 screen replacements. Each time a different problem. "The screws we used were too long," I heard. It was still not working. Once, it actually worked--but the screen and home button were the wrong color (white instead of black, like the phone) In the mean time, I have spend dozens of hours working (mostly) patiently with 4 different techs. I did get rather cross when I was once kept on hold for 45 minutes--I never apologized to the young guy, but I should have. The last screen replacement, I was told, would be the final one before they would get me a new phone. It is now June 17th. The store manager has offered $200 for my iPhone or a reconditioned one (plus the battery service refund). But he insists on having my phone. (Spoiler: a factory reset will not actually remove your personal data--email, contacts, passwords, etc.) I don't want to risk that. Take your phone or computer to Batteries Plus at your own risk! I would not believe their guarantees. read more

I have been to Batteries Plus Bulbs several times and each time has received excellent service. At my most recent visit today the District Manager happened to be in the store as his store manager had had an emergency. He spent many minutes taking a part a multi=tool piece with a small light and getting to the battery storage. This item was not meant to be easily accessed. The cost of the button batteries in no way compensated for his time but he was friendly and persistent to do all he could to get the item working again. read more

Incredible service! The store manager, Jesse, went way beyond even my expectations. My daughters car was in desperate need of a new battery. It was a complicated installation. Jesse took the time to do it right and without complaint. All the while taking care of other customers. I would recommend this store to anyone needing what they do. read more

I have bought 3 auto batteries and 2 failed in under 2 yrs. The 3rd is only a yr old, so the jury is out. Their free replacement warranty is only 1 yr vs 3yrs at Walmart. The prorata deals are nothing special and a real PITA because you have to buy a new battery, then wait for a couple days while they determine if they will give you any warranty adjustment. I am headed back to Walmart. read more

Instead if saying "nope we don't have it", the wonderful man working there offered to build me a battery pack! What!?! His willingness to go above and beyond really impressed me. Anytime I need any kind of exotic battery or light bulb I always come here. They've always been extremely helpful and I have always found what I needed. The batteries may cost a little more but the selection and customer service more then make up for it. read more

A couple of weeks ago I was trying to find a specialty bulb. I finally decided to give Batteries Plus Bulbs a try. What a great experience! Was greeted by Paul who immediately found the bulb I needed. Then he advised me not to touch the bulb when I installed it as skin oil would damage the bulb. After a quick trip to the back room he returned and offered me complimentary latex gloves to use to install my new bulb. Because of the excellent customer service I returned to the store today to purchase a new battery for my car. Paul provided complimentary installation of my new car battery and I did not have to wait. Installation was smooth and price was excellent. They have won me as a customer for future battery and bulb needs. read more
