The selection from BVE is incredible. I found the most beautiful James Martin vanity with built in makeup counter. Bryan called me within an hour of placing my order to walk me through the process of accepting delivery and inspecting the boxes. I would recommend to anyone to be sure that your contractor or a team of helpers is available. The vanity comes on one pallet--ours was stacked about 8 feet high and shrink wrapped. To make it worse, it was after 5 pm so our contractor was gone, it was getting dark, it was snowing and windy, and the delivery ticket was so wet I was unable to document the damage to one box on the pallet. Fortunately the delivery driver was very skilled and he able to transfer the pallet to our tow trailer with my husband's help. The damaged box turned out not to be the issue. When we removed all the packing for install 9 days later, there was damage to one corner of the vanity. It was too late to return the piece, so Bryan had a repair kit sent to us and our contractor did the repair. You would never know it had been damaged. After 6 months of waiting and multiple postponed deliveries) - I get it, Covid and supply chain) - I was persuaded to change from the unit I had ordered to one from Fresca. It was the only one available and our bathroom had been ripped out in anticipation prior to the last date change. Big mistake. It was junk - cheap MDF (not good in a bath room), damage to three drawers, two wouldn't fit and fell out. I had to get custom drawers made which cost me more than the unit. Only response was "well, we'll talk to Fresca and see if they can get replacement (cheap MDF) drawers" and "we'll, you can't expect this unit to be as good as the ones you had made". BVE reviews seem good, but I would say never let them persuade you to take a cheaper unit. Needless to say, Fresca seem to have ignored this sorry story. read more

I had a completely wonderful experience with Bath Vanity Experts and there representatives - and I would recommend them 100%. When I was confused about the online discount, I called the company. They explained it, it made sense - and then I got a VERY personalized explanation of how to prepare for and manage the shipping/receiving/return process. The shipping companies vary greatly I guess in terms of service and tricks they play, so my contact was very clear and direct as to what our rights were, and how we should receive the item in a way that made it possible for us to return it without cost if it were damaged etc. We also ordered two faucets, one of which was defective, and the other had installation directions that were hardly instructions. Not their fault. Therefore, when we called for help, they helped in emailing us additional installation instructions/advice that was very helpful. Brian was very responsive and helpful until I wrote to inform him that the finish was peeling off one of our James Martin mirrors (we purchased three vanities and four mirrors). He did not respond at all until my third email when I asked for the courtesy of a reply. I told him about the problem which was then fairly minor and he offered to send some touch up paint. Ok so far. When the problem became worse, he suggested that the mirror was hung too close to the sink (isn't that where a bathroom mirror is normally hung?) and that the problem was caused by exposure to water. The problem with this theory is that an identical mirror hung alongside the first, in the same proximity to the sink, was (and is) not peeling. Neither are the other two mirrors. I asked him to replace the mirror and he again ignored my email. Replacing a mirror cannot be a very expensive proposition for Brian but apparently it is more than he is willing to spend to stand behind his product and protect his reputation. Nice looking vanities and mirrors, but if problems occur, don't expect any support. You too will likely be ignored. read more

Bath Vanity Experts were very responsive and returned all my phone calls and emails. I even received a refund of 12% after I failed to click on the coupon located on their website. Their bathroom vanity is well made with beautiful drawers, but it has some serious manufacturing defects. The top and bottom cabinets (which sit on top of each other) are of different widths and do not match up. The top section overhangs the bottom drawers, as it is about 3/16" wider than the lower cabinets. One of the drawer glides was assembled incorrectly and needed to be repaired. Most disappointing was the difference in the stain color. The middle section of the vanity matched the lower drawers, while the top section is stained significantly lighter. My installer didn't notice this difference and recycled the boxes they came in before I could contact the company. In all fairness, they did offer to replace the top boxes if I had the boxes they arrived in. I didn't, so I will have to pay and have this refinished. Again, the customer service was very good, but it is apparent that people at the manufacturing plant don't talk to each other. If they fixed these problems, this cabinet would be 5 stars. read more

We've been remodeling for 7 months and this is by far the WORST experience I've had with any vendor and there have been close to 100. Avoid at all costs. Their prices may be nominally lower but it's not worth the couple of dollars to deal with these people. I would buy ANYWHERE BUT HERE. They don't follow their own stringent delivery guidelines about checking everything before the carrier leaves. They don't bother to send an alert that the item has been delivered. They send vanities out with missing pieces (maybe that's why they leave it quietly in your driveway with zero notices you can't check). Customer service is nothing more than a battle of the wills. Their customers are apparently NEVER right. Vanity required signature and long list of requirements before carrier left. Instead, it was left in my driveway for 4 days before I saw it. (We we're in a hotel due to remodeling). It took another few days for the contractor to open the box and it was installed before he noticed it was missing the side bit. For 2 weeks I sent back and forth with emails. First, it had been too long....4 days are you kidding me? Then it's not up to them to replace missing parts but up to the manufacturer who says no. Then They wanted a pic of the vanity in the box ...how about the empty box and installed vanity? NOPE HAS TO BE IN BOX. I finally gave up and had a fabricator make the missing splash guard ....actually he made 2 because who sells a vanity with only one splash guard and delivers NONE? We purchased a 3 piece 95" long vanity for our master bathroom on a Sunday from our living room in Richmond, Virginia. What a great surprise it was to receive a call from the delivery company on Friday afternoon - only 5 days later! We opened up each of the 3 boxes to find exactly what we ordered and everything in pristine condition. In fact, the travertine countertops were protected with particle board, which was much appreciated. On 6/6/12 I posted a review on this site about the problems I have had with this company. On 6/23/12 I updated my review to say that BathVanityExperts had refunded me $300. on a $2300 order because of poor quality and pricing differences. I was then contacted by Michelle (office manager) telling me I was being shipped another side cabinet and she would be in touch with tracking information. Today I called to see why I haven't received this info and was told I could expect an email shortly. I asked Michelle if the cabinet had shipped and she said yes she believed it had. She also said I would get an email shortly with the tracking info. I have not heard from her since. I think this company is fraudulent and the merchandise they are selling is junk. I ordered a vanity that I desired to cancel before shipping. There was a delay in response until after it shipped and i was told they could provide a return quite once I got the shipment. I received an email the shipper would coordinate delivery with me. This never happened. I happened to have a pinter in my home while I was out of town and the shipper was trying to deliver IN the RAIN on our uncovered back door stoop. The painter had not answered the doorbell but saw them dropping an obvious furniture package in the rain so stopped them and opened the garage for the delivery folks to put out items in. Even though i had zero say in this and there are multiple gouges in the packaging and at least one scuff on the vanity, the response from BVE is that if I pay for return shipping and restocking fee of 25% and there is any damage that I will still not be refunded. So I now have a vanity I dont need that I cant confidently even pay to return with any certainty I will get a refund, and NO quote or resolution from BVE one month in after multiple requests to please provide the return shipping price to begin with. And this is after I took pics of various points of damage on the packaging and sent them to BVE and had requested a return before it even left the origin city warehouse. WithOUT any opportunity to inspect the package. BVE seems to not care one bit and has not responded to multiple emails and calls span ing the past month. Very poor service and don't recommend them to anyone. My vanity came with large area of unfinished paint on the front. I sent them the picture and decide to accept their offer for the credit so we would not need to delay the project. At the end, they refused to provide any credit for the labor to finish the vanity. Apparently they think that their product is so poor quality that it just needs few brush strokes of paint. I wish I had refused the delivery. Good experience purchasing a unique vanity set for our major bathroom remodel. Initial vanity we selected was not available so BVE worked closely with us to find a replacement for the small space. They expedited shipping and even honored the original price for the vanity we wanted. A year later a mirror on the cabinet started to de-laminate. We bought a 72" and 48" espresso Wyndham Sheffield vanities with counter top and sink bowls online at www.bathvanityexperts.com. Unlike other websites, this vendor had a choice to include the mirror/cabinet or not, which we liked because we had no use for these and were able to get some credit for not choosing that option. I was very hesitant to place the order because of all the fine print on the free shipping terms and fear of how I would handle hundred of pounds return shipment if it arrived damaged. I called the company and spoke with Bryan, who introduced himself as one of the sales managers. He assured me that in 90% of the cases items arrive undamaged, but that if there was going to be some damage, he would handle it personally. Somewhat hesitantly, I placed the order. It arrived as promised. One of the boxes showed a crushed corner on the outside. We noted that damage on the delivery slip "some damage noted and content to be inspected" so the driver can leave. Upon close inspection, everything was in order, except the small vanity - the right front leg was damaged in transit. We were very surprised how this damaged even occurred because these were packed extremely well! But I guess it could happen. We took pictures of the damage. I contacted Bryan who sprung into action right away. Within couple of business days, I received notification that a replacement was shipped. I was amazed at the responsiveness and turnaround with which my issue was handled. Bryan is a man of his word and came through for us so quickly in handling the issue -- the turnaround in which this issue was handled exceeded our expectations! Service was fine until I received a damaged vanity. Vanity was delivered with damaged packaging which I noted on the delivery slip and took pictures. Started to unpack box and found damage to actual vanity. Immediately called BVE and then called delivery driver to return to pick it up. Driver refused to return. Shipping company then denied BVE's claim and produced a "scan" of my signature minus any comment about damage (fraud). Delivery company is unable or unwilling to produce the original paperwork. Five weeks later and numerous calls to BVE have left me with a damaged vanity and no offer to resolve it other than to say that if they can get the delivery company to accept responsibility then they **** get me a new vanity. Seriously? I have had to basically manage this process for BVE as they have taken the position that it is OK for the customer to be left paying for damaged goods. Given COVID, I was not about to have a delivery driver stand around for 20 minutes in my garage watching my wife and I unpack it. I even provided time stamped photos showing the damage at time of delivery and the subsequent unboxing of the vanity to reveal the damage to it. Despite going above and beyond to provide all the documentation I can, I am left with no resolution and am being told that it's my problem at this point. I even read the terms and conditions of the deliver and I complied with them. BVE is hiding behind the fact that the delivery company hasn't produced the original slip with my comments and telling me I should have taken a photo of the original slip when I signed it. My time stamped photos prove I received damaged good but this clearly a case of BVE not wanted to to the right thing with a customer if it might cost them money because they deal with an unscrupulous shipping company. They are willing to find any way out even if it screws the customer. I would have gladly paid a little more money to another supplier had I know how BVE treats a situation like this. DO not but from BVE unless you are 100% sure you **** not have an issue with your item. Otherwise, you have been warned! read more
