Super fun place to visit! We shared an $8 Old Fashioned and a St. Patrick's Day bowl of Boozy Cereal with Jameson Whiskey, Irish Cream, milk, and Lucky Charms. Interesting and fun atmosphere!

was downtown one night and checked out this bar. They have so many different whiskeys. Literally floor to ceiling. Cute dark vibe. Our bartender was Vinny. He was super personable and very informative. Definitely a place to check out if you're a whiskey lover. They also sell cocktails with other liquor. (I had the purple drank rum cocktail). They have a sister bar downstairs in the basement "snake and barrel."

Great place for whiskey and bourbon! One of the biggest selections I've seen and yet bartender is very knowledgeable about recommending to your taste. The donuts were such a delightful pleasure to have while sipping craft cocktail and straight bourbon. We had the churro, crème brûlée and screwball whiskey donuts. I would say out of all the screwball and churro were the favorites. The music was great and mixed current alt rock hits with older goodies. I would definitely go again.

Excellent location offering a wide selection of top-quality whiskey, scotch, and bourbon. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and the prices are great.

Batch is a candy store for whiskey, scotch, bourbon, and spirit lovers alike. Not only do they have their walls filled from sternum to ceiling with over 1100 bottles of various spirits, but their staff (as their owners) are beyond knowledgeable and have heard about whatever bottle or limited release you could think of. The bar is only as good as the staff though, regardless of the swill or luxury spirits they serve. That is perhaps one of the brightest spots of Batch, despite the beyond impressive selection of spirits. The staff is happy to chat with you about their favorite spirits, places and/or sights in town, or discuss whatever is on your mind in a way that makes them feel like an old friend. Ryan has been one of the best barkeeps I've been around in my 20+ years of drinking spirits and visiting bars. The decor is that of old bars and speakeasies, which is both comforting and a bit... minimalist if that makes sense. The bar features dark wood features, empty barrels of specially made spirits made specifically for Batch, or the owner's favorite distilleries. Lighting is low, but the chandelliers feature empty bottles and more than enough light to see everyone and everything you look at in the place. It toes the line between romantic, modern, and even... curious, as if there is something to hide in the low lighting. I loved the overall concept of the decor, as it reminds me of any high-end, luxury bar but isn't frivolous with the decor as to take away from the real stars of the place: the rare and expansive selection of spirits. The selection of spirits will put almost any collector's or bar's cellar to shame. There is going to be something for everyone, whether it be the most abrasive and high-proof spirit or a perfectly balanced cocktail... there is something for everyone and anyone here. Are you new to the scene? There is an endless and vast wealth of knowledge and experience to educate you. Don't know what you really like? Describe your ideal spirit and let the experts choose your next adventure. Seasoned veteran and self-proclaimed expert? Intellectually spar with your guide to see who has the best takes and taste between the lot of you. Batch is the place for the true purist. Not only are the staff and spirits offered among the best this life has to offer, but you won't pay overly gouged prices of second-hand markets or self-proclaimed entrepreneuers that are looking to make a quick buck off limited release or rare spirits or releases. I found it hard to believe that this place could be found in downtown Tucson when I have struggled to find a place like it anywhere else. However, this desert gem is nestled perfectly in an unassuming place where it can stay on the down-low, only visible to the locals and those lucky enough to stumble onto it on a per-chance visit to the southwestern desert.

Walking in and seeing bottles of whiskey as high as the ceiling and covering every square inch of the wall is as magical an experience as a kid walking in to the "Northpole" to see Santa. This bar has an amazing vibe and even more amazing cocktails. If you're lookin for something sweet go with my favorite the Notorious F.I.G. or something a little less sweet try a Sorry, I'm Late. Service is paced due to the craft cocktail nature of the bar. Please don't rush boozy perfection.

Outstanding and unique whiskey bar in Tequila territory of AZ. The selection is enormous and the service is classy and knowledgeable. From the doughnuts to the rolling ladder, highly recommend this as must see spot for anyone traveling to Tucson!

As always- damn good cocktails! Extensive list of whiskey and bourbon options. Limited seating indoors with a library vibe.. except it's bottles instead of books! They have boozy donuts on weekends which pairs well.

If your a whiskey drinker this is the place for you! Even if whiskey isn't your thing, there are many other cocktails! Perk: old fashions and Moscow mules are only $6 during happy hour! Everyday 4-6. Very cozy hipster vibe!

This is a review for 2 different Friday nights, one in May and one this weekend. The batch sour was a little sweet but still good. Sorry I'm Late was sour but very good and it grows on you the more you drink it. The Gin Fizz was interesting. It wasn't spicy and was very well balanced. Ben loved the Buffalo trace batch select neat. The churro donut was delicious.

As a whiskey drinker I definitely enjoyed this place. The selection is amazing. The location gives you a speak easy vive. The bar tender was very knowledgeable and made a great Old Fashion and Manhattan. They give you the time to sit there and enjoy your drink without making you feel rush, but were near by to answer any questions you may have. We're are only in Tucson for a few days but will return before we leave. Note: we were advised they no longer serve food.

Gotta check this place out because there really isn't a "cool vibe" in Benson. It's a sleepy neglected railroad town that gets ignored by interstate drivers. There's not much in Benson to draw someone to visit this town. But I'm not an interstate driver passer-by, I live in Sierra Vista, 40 miles to the south. I actually planned a trip north to this place to check it out with a burger and beer Thursday special, and then spend some time walking around the old 'hood with my dog to check out the holiday lights. Bad move. I got here at 8:02pm on a Thursday night. The bartender told me the kitchen closed at 6pm. Huh? On a Thursday? I can understand Sundays through Wednesdays, but a Thursday? I was dumbfounded. The sign up front said the place was open until 10pm, but there was nothing stating "kitchen closes at 6pm." Nowhere. I drove all the way to Benson for nothing? Yeah, I was livid. The bartender was willing to talk to the manager but I was not about to request that the manager open the kitchen just for my order, not two hours after the kitchen staff was let go. I understand how restaurants work: hourly employees are let go early when business is slow. It's hard to make a living as kitchen staff for a restaurant unless the restaurant is popular for its food, ambiance and vibe. This place is too new to draw a fanbase. Give it some time. Then I remembered (once I calmed down) that this place is a bar first. Not a restaurant. You walk into a small room and see the bright lights, the comfy couch set up front to the left, and the beer list on the wall to the right. People sit at the bar to drink, not to savor a juicy burger. Lesson learned. I will try again in the future. The business has a Facebook page and when it advertises a meal deal for dinner, I'll be all over that like flies on feces. Maybe a weekend visit would be more appropriate.
