    Seafood Pasta & Chicken Francese
    Tara T.

By far the most bland pasta dish I've consumed. Salt and pepper couldn't save this one.. going to bring it home and doctor it. Chicken francese at least tasted like something. But $30 for crab toast...? $160 for 2 people with beers, sharing an appetizer, and 2 desserts is absurd.

This 1 inch pile of sauce and mozzarella is supposed to be lasagna.

I ordered 3 in one dish. Lasagna, Stuffed shells, Chicken Parmigiano. My dish of food was an inch high. Covered in sauce and mozzarella. I had to fish threw the sauce and cheese to find the chicken and the shells. Lasagna, I'm not sure ..... i asked the waitress, what is this? She replied, I dont know. I'll ask my manager. He stops over. He's telling me it's lasagna! I'm Sicilian, I know what lasagna is. I've ordered from various restaurants. Never saw anything like this. Bottom piece pasta, thats it. I told him I'm not satisfied, I wasn't going to pay. He said I have too... i asked, no compromise, he said no. It's a half of lasagna. I said what? An inch high?! Because it was in between funeral viewings. I paid $ 30 for a pile of mush! The manager was arrogant. I would never recommend Fallston Basta Pasta.

I will start with it's a quality pizza. Crust is the star, focaccia I think. Sauce was good, and cheese seemed like it was a good quality. I didn't expect it to be so good I thought this would be a Italian sit down restaurant, that threw pizza on the menu. This pizza is a main dish.

For years we would visit the Timonium location until it shut down during covid. We lost our favorite server Matthew and wanted to see if this location knew of the last location. This location is inside a small shopping center in the middle of nowhere . The place has ample seating and space including a bar area. There weren't many people there so everything came out hot and fast. Our waitress was very attentive offering suggestions. We tried the dessert of the week called Chocolate Fireball it's chocolate mousse in a chocolate shell placed on top of 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream with fresh berries and whipped cream to garnish. once at the table, the manager Nick lit a small pour of Cointreau on fire and poured it into the mousse melting the chocolate shell. What a treat! Of course, I had other things but I was most excited about the desert.

My parents live nearby so we come here off and on. It's like Olive Garden but the food is a lot better. Friendly service and great prices.

I've had better edamame though because it lacked flavor. A huge shoutout to Bret behind the bar for providing top-tier service. Attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and just genuinely great energy. The drinks were perfectly made, recommendations were on point, and he made the entire experience even better. Between the amazing food, craft cocktails, and outstanding service, this place absolutely lives up to the hype. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Harford County and definitely a spot worth coming back to. Highly recommend!

Decided to have a little "celebration" for a successful year end at our business. The good - attentive service. Called ahead and they held a table for 15 min until we arrived. Friday and it was packed. Cocktails good. Food, I've got some concerns. Appetizers - ordered cheesesteak eggrolls and octopus. Eggrolls were excellent. Octopus thought, I'm used to the presentation at Bacco's so I could do without it being cut into tiny pieces and buried in sauce. Salad - shared the kale salad. Great flavor but the ( wife's pet peeve when I serve it ), the kale was in very large chunks, could use a bit more chopping. Main Course - wife had stroganoff and I had the NY strip. I don't know what it is about Harford County but it's the last time I'll try to get a proper NY strip here. I should have known when it was only $52 on the menu. Steak & Main advertises "best steaks around" and serves the same 1/2" thin cut slice that looks like it came from Ponderosa but they charge $65 which is a ripoff. I like my steak rare and with a steak this thin, it's impossible but at least they were close. Again, stuff all over the top of the meat, a bit too much. Stroganoff - solid!! Dessert- Bananas Foster / solid!! My only gripe is the steak. We will be back for sure but I'm done trying to get one out and will just continue getting a nice cut from a butcher and treating myself at home.

The fish sandwich, the actual fish was delish but it was SOAKED in tartar sauce. Sandwich fell apart. Cheese is a weird thing to put on a fish sandwich, and it just didn't work. Cheese was cold and not even melted. Honestly this whole sandwich was gross. Just get a plain filet as that's the only good thing about the sandwich. The cream of crab soup was wayyyy too thick and rich. The actual crab pieces in it were delicious. The soup part was too thick, it was almost like goop consistency. Not much flavor to the actual soup. The mac shrimp salad was gross, I only had about two bites before I threw the rest away. My coworker recommended getting this, I'm not a big fan of these type of salads overall, so I'm sure that impacts my review of it. I spent about $3 on a single crab deviled egg. It was good, but a weird combo. You either tasted one or the other, but not both at the same time. The clam strips were the best part about this meal. It was $4 for a big cup full of clam strips, and there was even more strips at the bottom of the bag. The clam strips were cooked perfectly and not too chewy, and had decent size pieces. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. I WILL try this place again and get something else though. I think their actual crabs would be great, but their other food items were not my favorite. The soup was very bad, wayyyy too thick and rich and bland. The sandwich filet was actually delicious, unfortunately the excess tartar sauce and the gross cheese ruined it for me. And the salad was just not my favorite at all, but I'm sure salad lovers would like it. It was about $30 for all of this food, and most of it got thrown away.

Our server, Dee, maintained a professionally cordial and accommodating demeanor throughout the service. The cream of crab soup was exceptional: It possessed a desirable thin consistency, avoiding the heavy, pudding-like texture sometimes encountered. The portion of crab meat was generous. The flavor profile was exquisite. The quality of the draft beer indicated meticulous maintenance of the beer lines. The brownie sundae was satisfactory. Areas for Improvement (Negative Observations): My filet mignon was served with noticeably burnt edges. This was only discovered late in the meal, as the service up to that point had been ideal. Overall Conclusion: The overall rating assigned is a B+. Given the presence of the executive chef, an A-level performance was the expectation.

The crunchy onion straws. Then I bit into the white, flaky meat, hopeful it would match the caliber of its accompaniments. I was sadly mistaken. To avoid reaching for my dad to give me the Heimlich, I gulped water to get it down. Considering fish comes from water, it's quite a trick to make it taste like kindling. If you're going to serve your patrons dry fish and make them sweat to death in your hot dining room while they wait for refills, kindly put a carafe of water on each table. Or let them wear CamelBaks. Our waitress was clearly overworked. She was managing about 20 tables, making it hard to get more water--or anything, really. At least put man bun to work and have him ask customers if they need anything. Like water. If it were socially acceptable for me to wring my shirt into my glass, I would have. I didn't want to embarrass my father, so I refrained. I swore I wouldn't rip any more restaurants, but no one asked why I left three-quarters of my fish on the plate. Not the overworked waitress. Not the manager, who walked past our table half a dozen times, intentionally dodging eye contact. If they had, I would have told them the truth. Frankly, I think they already knew. So here we are. The truth hurts sometimes. Just like dry fish going down the gullet.
