The crab cakes had a bit of a fishy taste for our liking, but the staff handled it professionally and made it right without any issues, which we really appreciated. They have a great head female manager there. It's just sad the ownership is despicable and the quality just isn't there. Honey old bay tenders comes with a tiny cup of honey and a sprinkle of old bay on top. Had to ask for more of both and do it myself. Meanwhile they make honey old bay wings as well. When I asked about why they just don't sauce the tenders I got attitude from the bartender. Joked saying I might just have to yelp this place. With its connection to The Local (which we love), we had to try it, but it was a disappointment. I got the rockfish tacos... I was surprised they didn't ask me how I wanted the rockfish prepared (grilled, blackened, fried). Well, I got something resembling fried fish sticks. The slaw was just lettuce, and it was covered in spicy ranch. They could do better. The mussels were good, but only came with two small pieces of bread. We asked for more, and they said there would be an upcharge... no problem... $6 for four thinly sliced pieces of French bread; c'mon. The atmosphere was cold and loud. Will not go back. read more

This is a new place we saw on Instagram that was recommended and wanted to try. They have an outdoor Bar and Live Bands that play on certain nights. We came for lunch and were immediately greeted and chose to eat outside on their Patio. We ordered several dishes, see pics. Everything thing was good, except the Seafood Pasta could have use a little more seasoning, it didn't taste like they put salt in the Pasta water. We love The Local, so we have been looking for an occasion to go to Natalie's, and our anniversary was it! I stopped by the restaurant around noon with some flowers I asked them to hold, which they did. I ordered our drinks and some oysters so they would arrive after our server greeted us. I asked if they needed a credit card for that, the manager Lou said it was not necessary. I asked that the flowers be delivered with dessert - Lou took very detailed notes in our reservation. Fast forward to 8 PM and they nailed everything. My wife got the flat iron steak, which is now her favorite cut of steak, and I got the lobster pot pie special. Everything we delicious and executed perfectly. Rayna was our server and she was excellent! They even put the flowers in a vase, which I did not expect. We will definitely be back - thanks to everyone involved in making our anniversary night a perfect one. read more

I was interested to size up the replacement for uncle's Hawaiian. Ambiance and decor is nice, and the service was great too. The food, however, was just ok. I ordered conch fritters and those were great. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. But the crab balls had hardly any crab and no flavor, and also a weird texture. Cream of crab soup also had hardly any crab. Lobster ravioli was just cheese ravioli with a little piece of lobster on top. Overall I think this place has potential and I'd give them another try. I went to the soft launch, and the first thing we noticed is how terrible the water is. The previous restaurant there never had problems with bad tasting water. We mentioned it to both the server and the manager. The manager tried it and agreed that it's something that they need to address because it did taste terrible. Really, really disappointed. Cannot say much of anything on their food. Average at best. Muscles were lacking in flavor. My biggest issue is how they treat their paying customers and to my family. After multiple attempts to reach out to get clarification on what I assume is a misunderstanding, no one has wanted to take the time to contact myself or my family back. For the first game of the season, Natalie's was showing the Ravens game. They had not just all day, but all weekend to prep for their sound to work. It didn't. Does that make anyone happy? No. I've worked in the service industry for years. If I ever told my customer to turn up their hearing aid, I would've been let go. If there was ever a disagreement, my boss or the owner of my establishment would take the time to rectify the misunderstanding and try to fix the issue. First time here. We had reservations for 7pm a party of 8. We didn't get seated untill 7:45. They only had outside seating for us so we took it . I did love the Ambiance very well done outside. I understand it was busy but it took about 20 minutes before a waitress took our drink order. At this time it was after 8 pm and we all were very hungry so I ordered the cream of crab , crab dip and an order of wings (Hot). The soup was just ok . The crab dip not so good and the wings looked good but not hot or even Alittle spicy. So I ordered the double crab cake with fries and coleslaw. The red snapper over crab fried rice was very good and flavorful. The sauce seemed to be a balsamic glaze which was a great addition. I had the Flatiron steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. I did not realize Uncle was not there any longer. I saw the sign for Natalies and thought I would try it. My server Caroline was very polite and attentive. And she always had a smile. The half/half crab soup was delicious. The shrimp Po Boy was equally delicious, and the toasted hoagie type roll was excellent. Honestly, some of the best bread I have ever had. The Buffalo wings could have used a little more Old Bay, but I have this at home, so I will just put some more on. The soup and Po Boy were very large serving sizes. Did I mention they have some of the best fries around? My only qualm would be the music outside was a little loud. Other than that, I look forward to going back and trying other dishes. read more

We tried Natalie's during restaurant week for their 3 course meal. I made a reservation, for 3:30 on a Sat. We had been out of the area since 6am with only a light breakfast so we wanted to eat as soon as we hit town. The 2 girls at the hostess stand appeared scattered. They wanted to put us at a high top in a back room near the bar. When we asked for a regular table, they literally looked confused...the place was not at all full. Our server Loel was bubbly, informative and just the right amount of attentive. We both had the cream of crab soup, which was a large cup hot, chunky and not overloaded with Old Bay...perfect. My husband had the crab stuffed mushrooms, which were very good. I had the trashcan nachos. The beer cheese was very very flavorful, as were the toppings. It could have used some more cheese/topping as many chips were bare. My My husband had the seafood cannelloni. It was nicely stuffed, but the cannelloni was crisp, almost like a fried tortilla and not like a soft piece of pasta. He still enjoyed it. I had the salmon with garlic broccoli and potatoes. It was very good, especially the lemon beurre blanc. I had a red Sangria which was heavy on the ice, but very delicious! There was music playing during the meal, but then all of a sudden the TV's came on at a very loud volume. Not at all pleasant for dinner conversation. This place has an outdoor tiki area/separate bar area with music. The restaurant area has fishtanks, and 2 bars with TV's on. Their menu is higher end type cuisine but it feels kind of sports bar-ish too? Overall, this was a very good meal, with a very good server. I'd say we will come back! read more

We had the Conch Fritters, and a dozen raw oysters for our appetizers, paired with a Creamsicle Crush, and a 'Save The Bay' cocktail. I have been to Natalie's twice so far. The Red Snapper and the Red Snapper sandwich were exceptional. The cheesesteak was excellent as well. Both sandwiches were served rolls from Lionel's Bakery in New Jersey. The specialty drinks were delightful. The outdoor Tiki bar provided a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff, well-trained and very accommodating. Look forward to visiting again. read more

Don't know how they made the cream of crab but it tasted nothing like cream of crab. It was so bad I couldn't get 1 spoonful down and my granddaughter agreed. In MD, if the crab cakes aren't jumbo lump, they don't meet expectations. The root veggie side had only mild flavor, was slightly dry, and overall mediocre. The mashed potatoes side was decent. Cocktail was lackluster, a margarita served in a collins glass with no rim. Sound carried far too well and it was very loud. Our service was wonderful. An armed guard outside suggested the outdoor bar space wouldn't be welcoming for us. We won't be eager to go back. read more
