My family is so disappointed tonight to consider severing our longstanding patronage of this Baskin Robbins. We go here 1-3 times a week after dinner for treats but may have to reconsider the way we were treated tonight. My wife ordered a Chocolate Blast, we get them often. A guy made it, an male adult who seemed to have some authority. I tasted it right away, it wasn't right. I asked my daughter to taste it, she said "yuck," and described the drink as watery and thin. It was either made with too much ice, not enough ice cream, or something but I the drink often and it's not supposed to be watery. I asked a kid behind the counter to remake it and he said sure, and I handed it to him. I suggested he taste it, and he did (later I learned he's not supposed to do that) with a spoon and he said "yeah, it's a weak chocolatey taste, I'll go ahead and remake it for you." Just as he was preparing to do that the older man with the buzz cut who we assume was in charge came out and the employee told him he was going to remake it. The manager insisted he made it to the recipe and wouldn't remake it. He wouldn't let the is remake it. The kid told him he tasted it and it was bad and the kid got in trouble. The drink Tasted. Like. Water. He refunded my money, but wouldn't make me a better shake. This is the worst service I've ever received at a Baskin Robbins and I've always been a fan. I was disappointed because I went out to get the shake for my spouse who just had surgery and is having trouble chewing or opening his mouth wide and could also use some calories about now and I had to return home without it. UPDATE: New ownership and everything runs much better. We are back to being frequent customers. read more

We ordered a waffle cone with a single scoop. The girl gave us a child's scoop. It was literally two tablespoons. Kilwin's is always the same. The price is comparable and they always give consistent well-rounded scoops. The owner needs to show the employees how to properly scoop the ice cream. When he's there we get a proper serving. The Baskin-Robins on Oleander was absolutely fantastic. I work with children and we planned to go to pelicans have a picnic and snow cones but they were not open (even tho the website, automated message and sign said they would be). So we had to make a quick change. Baskin Robins let us eat packed lunch in their lobby and were so flexible with our kiddos! I appreciate their patient customer service and kindness! The lobby was very clean and they continued to clean as we ate. I got the strawberry cheesecake and it always amazing! I am going to come here more often for sure! All the kiddos mentioned they wanted to come back and it was an amazing field trip! read more

Too bad this is the only baskin and robbins location. I ordered a cake and they require a 24 hours pick up time. I ordered at 5pm the night before and they said I could not pick up until 5pm. Fair enough. I called in the morning to make a change to my cake, if I can't pick up my cake until 5pm it seems logical it would not be ready at 10:30am. They lady told me she is almost done with it and i can't make any changes. Why would I be given a 5pm pick up time of my cake is made and done before 11am!? Really disappointed. read more

For National Ice Cream Day, I went a different route with so many accolades already pouring in for my local favorite in Wilmington. I chose to enjoy a childhood past time favorite of mine...Baskin-Robbins 31 Flavors! This location is owned by a delightful franchisee & I knew I could still support a nostalgic, local business. They spared no expense with the generous scoops of Rocky Road & Cookies & Cream piled into a chocolate-dipped waffle cone, rimmed with pulverized peanuts. Mrs. enjoyed a cake cone with scoops of Very Berry Strawberry & Chocolate. Although we had to eat these as fast as Joey Chestnut in Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest due to the sweltering heat, I felt like a 6 year-old kid again for a few minutes! Thank you again for great ice cream & friendly service...even though the 2 young gentlemen working today, had no clue it was National Ice Cream Day. Lol. UPDATED SCORE: 4.8 STARS! read more

What no restrooms? Should be illegal to not have a restroom! Pralines and cream you can't mess that up! Baskin Robbins is not what it use to be! In Raleigh they are combined with Dunkin Donuts, horrible service in Raleigh and here only one employee working in this stand alone Baskin store! But he was friendly! Just don't expect to wash your hands or to use a restroom here! read more

Horrible experience. I Called ahead to ask if they had lemon custard ice cream and they told me they did. I drove completely out of my way just for that ice cream. Then I got there and they wouldn't let me sample any other ice cream flavors, so I took my money and went elsewhere. read more

The ice cream is alright. It certainly doesn't taste premium. I'd much rather suggest one go to Kilwins downtown. The service has been indifferent the last 2 times I've been here with my girlfriend. It's almost like they didn't care or were bothered by our presence. I'll go to TCBY across the street from now on when I don't want to go all the way downtown for frozen dairy desserts. read more

I had them prepare an ice cream cake for my mother's birthday. The cake was delicious, it was decorated beautifully, they got it done on time on a super-busy weekend, and the cost was very reasonable. What sets this place apart though is the service I received-- it was really first rate. It started with the initial phone conversation I had with Patrick (one of the owners) and continued with every interaction I had with the people there. One example that really stands out actually occurred after I had picked up the cake. It was the day before the party and nearly 100 degrees outside. I was en route to the restaurant where the party was going to be held (the Oceanic), a 20 minute drive away. Based on a conversation I'd had about a week before with one of the hostesses, I had planned to drop off the cake and have them store it in their freezer overnight. When I phoned ahead to tell them I was coming, the manager informed me that due to the busy weekend there was no room in their freezer for the cake! Sudden change in plans... I turned around and went back to BR. Patrick took the cake back, put it in his freezer, and told me how to solve the problem by purchasing an insulated bag and dry ice at a nearby grocery store. I picked up the cake again the next day and it stayed frozen in the bag, just as he said it would. Thanks guys! read more

Love this place. The snickers sundae is my splurge, I really wish it was cheaper but it's worth it with amount of ice cream and toppings you get. I really wish this wasn't all the way on oleander Dr because now it's too far away from everything else. Wish they had but this in Mayfaire instead of cold stone. read more
