7/1/26: Upon visiting Milly's Ice Cream, I wasn't greeted by either of the two employees. They…read moresimply waited for me to tell them what I wanted without even saying hello, which wasn't the most welcoming first impression. I ordered the coffee ice cream with Oreo mixed in, and the ice cream itself was good. I visited with two friends and we all ordered a single scoop, but we immediately noticed the scoop sizes were inconsistent. One friend received a noticeably small single scoop, while I was fortunate enough to get a much more generous portion. At the prices Milly's charges, I would expect much more consistency. The biggest downside for me was the customer service. The staff didn't seem interested in interacting with customers, and the overall experience felt transactional rather than welcoming. That's disappointing because my family recently moved to the area, and this could have easily become a regular spot for us. Earlier in the week, I visited Kreamium Frozen Custard, and the experience couldn't have been more different. The owner greeted us warmly, welcomed my family to the area, offered local recommendations, and took the time to explain all of the different frozen custard flavors. It made the visit feel personal and memorable. Overall, I'd give Milly's Ice Cream a 3/5. The ice cream tastes good, but the inflated pricing, inconsistent scoop sizes, and lackluster customer service make it hard for me to recommend over Kreamium. If you're looking for a dessert spot with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, I'd recommend giving Kreamium Frozen Custard a try instead.

The fried okra did not taste fresh at all, kind of mushy and didn't have parm on it, 4.5 out of 10. The mussels were a HIT!! Great flavor, lots of buttery sauce, 9.0 The roasted red pepper and crab bisque had a really nice flavor, but alas, there was about 2 teaspoons of crab in it. So sad, 7.0 The shrimp and grits tasted good, but that's a high bar, being you should be making a great shrimp & grits if you put it on your menu in this part of the country. It's not near as good as I've had around here, but still, 7.0 Both the girls had the salmon with risotto. Risotto was good, but both pieces of fish were overcooked. If your a seafood place, cooking the fish correctly is a must. Sorry, 5.0 My son had the flounder and, again, the crab tasted like it was canned and the fish was overcooked, 4.0 Since Yelp only has 5 stars instead of 10, I had to mark down so people wouldn't think it was a good meal. 3 out of 5 is just above average. Sorry Cape.
