I came in to pick up an ice cream cake order I'd ordered online, and if I'd gone into order, I wouldn't have. It just looks so dirty and so crowded in there. I was going to order a milkshake, but I couldn't stomach eating anything from there. Luckily, the cake was good and no one got sick. read more

I usually have a generally good experience at other cold stones I've been to, but, the service and ice cream was abysmal! Not a single worker seemed happy to be there, and when we were given our ice cream, they practically threw it down on the counter! It was weirdly already melted when we were served and I'm 99% sure we were overcharged. The overall ambience was standard for a typical cold stone but definitely had a negative tension in the air... felt like we walked in on something. We also tried to order waffle cones and they told us they were out as if we were supposed to know that. Yikes! read more

The flavors were very delicious and it's a small and quaint shop. The only negative was the waffle cones were not freshly made and they gave us one of the display ones that people touch read more

Amazing!!! Almost come here every time I'm in town I love the ice cream and the workers I really appreciate how they handle the ice cream and actually put effort into making a better experience for anyone who wants to eat ice cream read more

I've always love cold stone but i've never been to this one before! Great experience, the workers were super nice and we were able to sit at a cute little table right inside and eat our ice cream! read more

My mother forgot to send the deposit for my son's bday cake. With only a few days to spare, I contacted the team at Coldstone. I love cold stone, I've always loved their ice cream since I was a kid, but this location has very poor service. I came in with my boyfriend and cousin and the workers were very rude. From sarcastic remarks to rolling their eyes to low speaking in a crowded store as they asked our orders. I was paying and I guess one asked me to repeat my order but I didn't hear her and she screamed what did I want ..... definitely won't be back. read more

ice cream was very slimey didn't taste right felt like it had gone bad....definitely don't try to cookie dough ice cream you'll get foamy slime instead. service was definitely questionable as they were talking like we weren't there and when we tried to say something they acted like we interrupted them...i say kilwins is better. read more

Line out door... noones happy inside...no chocolate ice cream after a rediculous wait...no waffle cones.. we told them it was our son's birthday ...guess Noone sings anymore. Overpriced fir the poor service fir sure ... will never go to a cold stone again .. What an overpriced let down read more

Me and my children had cold stone this past weekend. I was a delightful experience. We all enjoyed our ice cream! The store was pretty busy but the worker that helped me was nice. He made sure my ice cream was packed up and bagged properly. The ambiance of the restaurant felt family oriented. read more

They were out of everything except sweet cream ice cream. Out of whipped cream. Out of half the toppings/mix ins. Out of straws. On top of that, the three people behind the counter were all rude. Not their fault that everything was out of stock, but the attitudes were 100% their fault read more

The ice cream is always delicious and the staff are so nice and helpful! I have continued to come back throughout the years

Awful place !! I went the other day and both workers looked at me and just walked away. They went in the back and started talking. Then came back out after the second group of people came in and made the comment .. oh everybody wants to come at the same time!! Then dumped all of our toppings in the middle of the ice cream and picked it up and dropped in the cup .. nothings mixed at all!! Then had the nerve to put up a sign saying if you give us a 5 star review we will give you 20% off. How about earn the review and I will gladly pay full price !!! read more

LOOOOVE this place! Always good ice cream and the staff is great as well! Awesome location!

We promised our kids ice cream after the park, and were right in the Mayfair area so we stopped! Due to covid you will have to wait outside because there are only 10 people allowed in at a time. After our wait, we were pleasantly surprised! Tons of different flavors of ice cream as well as options for mix-ins. The selection for cookies and candy to mix into your ice cream is BIG. If you aren't in the mood for just ice cream you can select a shake or cake! My kids love this place because of all the kid friendly options (cotton candy w/ gummy bears seems to always be the MVP). The line moves fast, the prices are good, and the ice cream is tasty! Perfect little ice cream spot for a special sweet little treat. read more

Now that there's only one location here and they don't open up until noon and are across town in Mayfaire I rarely ever go there. So for my birthday I got a reward for BOGO and the day I was planning on using it I checked their website for flavors and pricing because I know everything has went up these past few years. Imagine my shock and surprise when I saw that the medium size(pint) that I usually got was $8.99!!! Nine dollars!! I can buy a half gallon of ice cream for much less regardless how many mixins you can get with theirs. I know prices had to go up but I refuse to pay nine dollars for a pint or two because you get one free. I recently got two pints of sorbet from Harris Teeter for $5 and they even had some other frozen treats under $5 like gelato or name brands like Tillamook under five dollars. read more

Very good! Good service too. Even with a really long line they were pretty fast. Love this place

The chocolate ice cream I got was extremely foamy, after hearing that cold stone had hood ice cream I was extremely dissatisfied with what I got. it was foamy to the point where it didn't even seem cold and on top of that I thought that they were getting my first scoop on the board but that was my entire large for 7$. read more

Their ice cream is amazing and their staff are superb. My only complaint is the sheer number of choices and combinations are crazy. Delicious but it will make your head spin if you're new like me, though the staff seem happy to help. read more

Cold Stone is my favorite place to get ice cream. I have to go back every once in a while because I start to crave it when I haven't gone! I went here earlier tonight with my boyfriend and we were both raving about it. I almost always get the Cookie Doughn't You Want Some signature creation in the "like it" size. This is their smallest size but it is always very filling! I've also tried theirs All Lovin' No Oven signature creation and it was extremely tasty as well. Cold Stone is a tad on the pricey side. Their "love it"(medium) size is about $5. If you're looking for rich, delicious ice cream, Cold Stone is the place to go! :) read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Cookie Doughn't You Want Some in the love it size. Substituted the vanilla ice cream base with cake batter. So good!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Wilmington, North Carolina

Clueless employees. Waited in line with my daughter for about ten minutes. When we were next, an employee came up and greeted the family behind us an took one order. Then another employee and took their second order. All the while I stood there confused. I finally asked if I was in the right spot to order, thinking this was an honest mistake and giving the employee an out to just take our order. Instead, she asked if I had order yet and began asking the other employees if they had taken my order. To make matters worse, instead of just taking the order she went to get the manager. Mistakes happen. Just rectify them. I left when they couldn't seem to figure out how to overcome this dilemma. read more

When I arrived the line was literally to the Chipotle next door. No biggie. I love the sweet cream and I'm willing to wait my turn without an issue. I waited in line at least 20 minutes but I was next. That is until they announced they'd be closing the store early, as in right then. They wouldn't be taking my order or the line of people behind me. It was 9:00 on the dot. I can understand closing early but at least serve the guests that have stood outside waiting. You could see that the staff was just over it. In their defense they needed help. I work as a GM in the food industry and it was done in a way that not a single customer left in that line had a pleasant visit. read more

Worst ever! We went at night before closing and they turned away 12 customers because it was close to closing time. We went the next day and waited for over 20 minutes for them to open (late)!! More than 20 customers left. This is so sad! Hard to believe at the beach there isn't an ice cream store on every corner. read more

The manager of this cold stone treated me and my children to "the best I've cream we've ever had" -the kids, not me! Great environment and great ice cream! read more

Three of us waited 15 minutes and we all ordered the same thing, their small Like It, Signature Creation. Two of us selected waffle cones but one of us just asked for it in their Like It cup. The price for the waffle cone should have added $.99 and the paper cup should have been free. The cost was one waffle cone Signature was $5.29 total, one waffle cone Signature was $6.29 total and the cup Signature was $6.74. not very impressed. service was very bad. told me they were out of bananas so i had to look at the menu to pick a new flavor. while i'm looking the man in glasses is having an attitude asking what i want and proceeds to have an attitude the entire time. some friends ordered minutes after us and we're able to get bananas??? i don't appreciate being lied to read more

My wife and I stopped in last night for some sweet treats. We love this place! I was undecided as to what I should get, but Alex led me down the right path and I settled on a mix of Cookie Dough and Milk & Cookies! It was an excellent choice! My wife got classic Chocolate with chocolate chips. What made this trip special was the excellent costumer service of Alex and Carlee. They were both very nice and served us with smiles. Thanks for a great experience Cold Stone! We shall return! read more

Walked in and waited for about 10 minutes, in that time no one came out to help me, like I didn't see or hear any employees at all in the store. It was 7:30, the store doesn't close until 9:00, and me and my friend called out fairly loudly twice, not to mention the door had a ringer on it. Upon walking out we saw a guy smoking a cigarette, who quickly ran into the back employee door after making eye contact with my friend, and we heard a girl laughing inside when he opened the door. So at least one of the employees was on a smoke break and the other completely ignored us. Love cold stone but the employees are awful here. read more

My favorite business ever, just not this location. Some employees are quite snappy and I have been made to wait outside several times. Also, no quick service. I always seem to be waiting in line for 30 minutes or more. read more

Went there at 8:30 at night. They were not busy there was one customer in front of us. The girl was not very kind to us when we asked about one of the creations. We had three orders of ice cream all Like it sized. When she made them, she took half on the ice cream out!! Like half of my brownie and the recese cup was out. She slapped the ice cream in there with it missing half on the prep board. When I asked if I could have the part that she didn't put on there as I knew they were going to throw it away. She responded that she always makes too much and I needed to pay for it..... just super disappointed because my 6$ ice cream small was disappointing. I have always loved cold stone ice cream but this was not the experience that I would recommend to others. read more

I will not be returning any time soon. The ice cream is always delicious, but not even close to worth the 40 minutes I waited in line. Only one person working with a super long line. There was another person there that kept peeking out from the back but they must not be qualified to serve ice cream. I would have left if it had not been for my 5 year old insisting we stay. Not the little treat after dinner out that I had in mind. read more

I love Cold Stone's Ice Cream, but their service sucks. Every time we go in there we wait at least 20 minutes for ice cream, even if there are two people working and only two people ahead of me. I'm an ice cream lover so because this was conveniently located we tried this....big mistake. Been here a few times out of convince and the ice cream is forgettable and chalky. It sounds good when you're reading the signs but it's not worth the hype. And there is always a long wait. That's a big turn off especially if you're going there before your movie starts. It fits Mayfaire perfectly; basic stuff that's all flash and dash, and overpriced. read more
