Customer service is everything to me and it's becoming a bygone trait in a lot of restaurants these days. This specific Baskin-Robins is apparently no different. Walked in 7/27 about 1245 pm. Employee was busy doing other work (completely understandable). But when she finally walked up to me I said "hi, how's it going"... she just stared blankly at me... then continued to just stare blankly. As if my presence was annoying and she just wanted to rush the process. So I just turned and walked out, currently headed to cold stone instead. Beyond disappointing experience with this Baskin Robbins. I ordered a cake (in person so eliminate confusion). We discussed the picture (spiderman cake with light up eyes but make it look like Black Panther). I was clear about BLACK frosting. I went to pick it up on the day and time (3:30pm), and was met with lame little girl attitude from the cashier ("the ticket said 4pm so she's not done with it" with an eyeroll when I stated that I specifically said 3:30pm). Not only did they NOT refund the full amount, they basically said that "this doesn't happen usually". While I appreciate the offer to make a new cake (which I do not have time for), they completely missed the mark on customer service. Save yourself time and money on custom birthday cakes because they clearly only know how to do basic cakes and no one needs to be subjected to dumb teenage girl attitude because they failed and don't know how to own their mistake. Small, clean store with friendly employees. This location doesn't have clown cones, but they do have chocolate dipped bananas with nuts sprinkled on them. They are individually wrapped. I came in because I wanted a clown cone. I didn't end up making a purchase as they didn't have any, but more than one employee offered to help me and each made eye contact with me and smiled. I have to say I haven't been to a Baskin Robbins in at least 5 years. Since my little one loves ice cream I decided to take her for a treat. When we walked in everything was nice and clean. My daughter and l were greeted by a very friendly girl named Victoria. We enjoyed the great Disney music while we waited. I have been getting a small cappuccino blast every day for the past three weeks. I normally go to a different Baskin-Robbins every day depending where I am that day. The blast has been costing me $4.49 each time. On the rare occasion I am charged tax so it is a few cents more. This Baskin-Robbins charged me $5.99 for a small blast. I was surprised by the price as it was a $1.50 more than the others however what surprised me even more was that the menu price said $4.99 but the cashier told me no it's $5.99. Her reason was that the price had not changed. According to the cashier it was because the price changes but no one had updated it yet. Don't believe it but it was already made so I took it. Besides the extremely expensive cappuccino blast there was a pretty bad smell in the store. So bad that I got nauseous and started gagging. I had to wait outside the door for her to finish making the drink. I have no idea what was causing it but they need to take care of it especially since it is a food establishment I am definitely not going back there again. read more

So disappointed, went in with gift cards my mom had given my boys for the holiday and we ordered about $65 worth of ice cream. Of that variety my favorite is pineapple coconut. This place is in the Victoria Village shopping center, located between the 99 cent store and the Victoria Pub. The employees here are mostly high school kids but they are usually very courteous, capable and quite fast in their service. So for that I give this place 4 stars. Every time I go to this Baskin Robbins location I am disappointed. But for some reason I kept going there. No longer. The workers are nice enough and everything, but the serving size and quality for the amount that they charge is ridiculous!!!! I really wanted a hot fudge sundae. Not a huge one. I bought the one scoop. The thing costs almost $4.00. It is the tiniest hot fudge sundae that you will ever see, for $4.00!!! It is no anywhere close to a normal size scoop of ice cream. My daughter ordered a strawberry shake. Again, almost $4.00. It tasted more like slightly sweetened milk with a slight hint of strawberry instead of a strawberry shake. It was really thin also. You are MUCH better off going to In-and-Out or The Habit for a strawberry shake- higher quality for less money. Fool me once, shame on you- fool me twice, shame on me. My family has always enjoyed going to this Baskin Robbins on a frequent basis, up until recently. We visited twice in the past week, and (tonight on 4/16/15) we came in to get ice cream and were appalled by one of the workers. Monty (I think that is how you spell his name) was extremely obnoxious, loud, rude and inappropriate, swearing and making rude comments the whole time he was serving us. We won't be returning to this location because of how offended we are by this employee. On the other hand, the other employee working was extremely nice, helpful, and knew how to treat customers right. There is no public advertisement of business hours. We called to find out that they open at 10:30. When we arrived at 10:30 the doors we're locked. Had we not called first, we wouldn't have waited. While we waited we noticed a poster sized sign advertising sundaies for 3.31 and scoops for 1.31. The first thing I asked was if we could have the Sundae deal since it was the 31st. The boy said he wasn't sure. I didn't know if he was kidding or not so I proceeded to get a single scoop with hot fudge, nuts, whipped cream and a cherry on top. We proceeded to wait as he prepared to open. He had to stock the nuts, stock the cherries get his cash drawer. After he had already pumped the hot fudge sloppily on my scoop (you know dripping over the side of the cup ensuring my hands would get full of chocolate) he informed me that the hot fudge wasn't hot yet because they had just opened. He then rung me up and said $4.45. I said, "aren't scoops $1.31 today? " He informed me that what I ordered was a sundae. I said, "well what about the huge sign on the window. He just said he wasn't sure because he was new and continued to look at me as if I'm going to just pay more. He then goes to get his manager. A lady wearing a faded Dodgers shirt comes out and tells me that that deal is not going on. Then she goes to the window peels off the poster and conceals it in a way that I couldn't verify what it said. I just give her the you must be kidding me look. She explained to me that she would give me the $3.31 price just this one time. She takes over ringing me up and it just keeps coming up $1.31. In my mind I'm thinking just leave it at $1.31. After all, I just got 1 scoop. I didn't speak up and eventually she gave up and inputted a cake decorating charge of $3.31. She walked away leaving the boy to finish up without making eye contact with me. I go ahead and pay feeling bad that the man behind us had to wait so long. Afterwards I pondered.
