Visited with my niece who absolutely loves this spot and was impressed with the prompt, friendly, service and variety of toppings to choose from (although I had the yogurt chips and thought they tasted a tad artificial). But in terms of the frozen yogurt, it was exactly what you'd hope for and the serving size for a kids was plenty for me. I think it's a great value. It's a walk-up to order place so maybe plan to take your order to go, though there are a few tables in front.

Stopped by after a day at the beach. You order at the window and they serve it right away. I was hesitant to get into the long line, but I really wanted yogurt so I stayed. Service was quick. I ordered a kids size pomegranate/plain tart swirl. Not bad. The tart was a little too soggy. Not at stiff as the pomegranate, but flavor was good. I topped it with dragon fruit boba. I'll come back again and give them another try.

My fav shop in town for fro yo. Always solid and creamy!!! Just the right consistency. Pro tip: they have a punch card so take advantage. I also love "layering" my topping and you often get more and it's nice to have it not all on top. Staff are sweet and reasonable pricing. You can park right in front.... And they do pup cups!

Loved this place for years, every time I visited Ventura beach I'd drop in. I am not a huge fan of not being able to serve myself anymore. I wish they'd bring it back to how it was. Yogurt was always made fresh daily with great flavors, fresh cut fruit and toppings. Workers were friendly, place was clean. But I like making my cup myself best. They do have a punch card. They did offer dairy free (vegan) options! Grab and go and sit outside at the table and chairs or head to the beach.

I'm lucky enough to live close by this cute, little frozen yogurt spot and get to try it pretty often. They have a simple menu with a few flavors and plenty of options for toppings. You order at the counter, and the employee makes the order for you. The prices are very reasonable. It has parking spots and street parking. The Coffee/Snickerdoodle Swirl flavor is the best! It's well run, although sometimes I wish they had different flavor options and the ability to self serve your own yogurt like they used to. It's still a great place to grab a treat.

Very cute yogurt place! I love the beachy vibe. I sometimes want to eat ice cream/yogurt after dinner and so happy they are open until 10pm (Sunday 9pm) Yesterday I got there around 8:30pm, some customers were eating ice cream ( maybe they wanted to eat ice cream after dinner like me :) ) I tried Vanilla with raspberry topping and I liked it. It said, "no sugar added" but it tasted very sweet. 12 oz was good enough for me. Service was good. I think the price is reasonable compared with other ice cream places. There are some tables in front of the shop also there are parking spaces so you can eat in your car too. This shop is closed to the beach so you can stop by the beach after eating ice cream/yogurt.

Red Velvet Yogurt with Gummy Frogs

I stopped by here on a business trip and it was great! There is plenty of parking around and it's a pretty chill place. I ordered a red velvet yogurt, and since it comes with a free topping, I chose gummy frogs. The portion sized were pretty generous for both the yogurt and the topping. It's a small shop and the biggest drawback is that it has a small flavor selection. Despite this, it still has non-dairy and low sugar options available so more people can enjoy some good froyo.

We love coming here for froyo! A yummy treat near the beach... lots of flavors to choose from and they're always very friendly!

Great frozen yogurt place. Lady at the front was sweet. Nice place to great a treat after a walk or anytime really. We sat outside and people watched for a bit. I got tart with almonds. The bf got acai berry with yogurt chips. $5.50 for the 12oz. size. with one top topping. It's not self serve. Cups are prepped by staff which is fine.

12 ounce Plain tart/chocolate froyo with brownie bites.

Good yogurt, good toppings, good price. For $5.50 we got 12 ounces of yogurt with 1 topping. We went with tart and chocolate yogurt and topped it with brownie bites. Location: storefront counter with a fun beachy/tiki vibe located on a corner near the beach. Will be back when we're in the neighborhood again!

Quick Memorial Day update. With restaurants opening up for dine-in, this yogurt shop once again allows people to sit at their tables outside. The make shift counter at the door remains blocking patrons from entering and you order at the counter. This is a much cleaner concept than before the pandemic. From talking to the employee, this may be the new norm which is not a bad thing. Other safety precautions such as social distancing floor markings, well space tables and signs were also in place.

Kids liked their frozen yogurt. I was too full or I would have got one too. They are open fairly late.

Fosters Freeze - Good ole vanilla soft serve medium

Fosters Freeze

Foster Freeze is a California institution. Since they have closed locations in Santa Barbara…read more(tears) and Carpentaria, this Ventura location is where we go for our fix. The building is an original, 60s beach modern. It's a bit rundown, but it's clean and the staff is friendly, with plenty of parking and seating. Large menu of various burger shack food items: burgers, hot dogs, tacos, (fried!) burritos, chicken, fries, rings and of course, their famous soft serve! The soft serve is the thickest and creamiest, and comes in all shapes including cones, dips, sundaes, malts, blizzards and our favorite, their shakes. I have not had a better strawberry shake anyplace, including expensive ice cream shops. The crinkle fries are always hot and crispy and the food items are what you would expect - fast food but a notch up from the major chains. It's cash only and like most places, prices have increased over the last few years, but we will continue to return whenever we are in the area or passing through.

Came here because I thought it was going to be affordable. I get to it and here is what I notice:…read more1) Parking area is full of potholes 2) They only take cash 3) Only had one flavor of ice cream...vanilla 4) They charge $5 for a basic single cone of ice cream that is 3 inch tall ( including the cone. I understand they sell other things but how tf are you gonna call yourself "foster freeze" when you only have one measly flavor of ice cream. And what kind of shady place only takes cash. This is not a taqueria. Lastly for 5 dollars I can buy a pint of ice cream ffs. What a dissapointment. Not worth coming here to damage you car's alignment. If youre gonna spend money for ice cream, go to dairy queen or baskin robins. The places best days are behind it.

I think everyone loves Mr. Softee, don't you? Mr. Softee's truck comes to my neighborhood too. When…read moreyou hear that music playing from the truck, doesn't it make you want to go outside? I usually buy ice cream from a truck, but today I felt like going to a store, so I visited. The store's interior is classic and reflects Mr. Softee's history. Looking at the old photographs displayed in the store, you can see that Mr. Softee has been loved by people for a long time. I usually order a simple vanilla soft-serve ice cream from the truck, but since I was at the store, I decided to try something different. I had a strawberry sundae, and my friend had a warm chocolate cookie sundae. Of course, both were delicious. The ice cream here is simple and reminds me of the ice cream I had as a child. They also sell original merchandise in the store, which was really fun. It's a fun place for both children and adults. There isn't much parking space in downtown Camarillo, but I was able to find street parking this time.

My Wife and I hired the Mister Softee Truck and threw an Ice Cream Party for all the kids on our…read morestreet. It was one of the most insanely fun things I've ever done. A while back I read a Mister Softee review by my Yelp friend Gina. She had rented the truck for a family party and wrote about how great the experience was. That's where I got the idea. But instead of a family party, I thought it would be fun to have a party for all the kids on our street. Our street is filled with kids! I mean, the street is only like two blocks long, but there are well over twenty kids. They're out there every day, riding bikes, shooting hoops, running around without a care in the world. Good times! My Wife designed and printed up invitations, then went door to door up and down the street to personally invite everyone. She already knows pretty much everyone, so the Parents were cool with the idea. So today was the big day. I was super excited when the Mister Softee Truck pulled up and parked right in front of my house. And then the driver turned on the music. Aw yeahhhh! And that's when the kids started coming. Big kids, little kids, Parents carrying kids, so many kids. A small line formed. It was a trip watching what the kids ordered. They got to pick whatever they wanted from the menu. They could pick a Cone, a Sundae, a Shake, Ice Cream Sandwich, even a Banana Split. It cracked me up how many ordered a small cone. I mean, not even dipped. Just a plain old small cone. Such a sensible order! I loved it!!!! One little guy ordered a Root Beer Float. I was like, that would've been my order at his age too. I like how the Mister Softee Truck serves their Root Beer Floats: they give you the rest of the can of Root Beer they use to make the float. A couple kids needed a non-dairy alternative, and I was relieved that the Mister Softee Truck had some attractive options like Sno Cones or colorful frozen ice treats. Most of the kids enjoyed their treat right there next to the truck. Parents took photos of their kids and kids chased ice cream drips down their arms with their tongues, as kids do. All of the kids and their parents were super appreciative and thanked my wife and I for the party. We thanked them for coming. There were clearly a lot of happy kids on our street today, but I don't think any could've been happier than me. Thank you to my neighbors, and all the neighborhood kids Thank you Mister Softee! And most importantly, Thank You to my wonderful Wife for enthusiastically supporting my idea right from the start. Mikey C says: Oreo Swirl for me!

I stumbled in here for lunch today, as I love the bartender Rebecca who works here! She's a great cocktail mixologist and is always super friendly and bubbly. The staff here are really great though... Today both Rebecca and Brenda helped me and the service was a 10 out of 10! Everyone is so friendly and attentive. Also, I was super impressed with the back kitchen as they were cranking out dishes, which is what you want when you're having a "quick on the go lunch". I really love how they've decorated this bar/restaurant. It's fun but cozy, definitely they have great creativity with making the space as it's unique and done just right. I love the neon signs, the comfortable lounge chairs/sofas and the rugs. Makes for a great spot to stay a while. Cocktails were solid and they have an impressive selection of Whiskey is here. I'm keeping that in mind the next time I come for cocktails downtown. The food though was a home run and far exceeded my expectation. I started with the onion rings that were perfectly fried and super fresh/crispy. I love that the onion rings were paired with both a ranch and a chipotle sauce. I'm a sauce girl so if you give me multiple sauces, I'm happy. No joke, but I also just had the best Caesar salad I found in the county yet here! Kudos to the bartender Rebecca for suggesting it when I was debating between different dishes... I trusted her judgment when she told me it's one of her favorites and it turned out to be my favorite dishes too! The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed and had a great amount of cheese and croutons. Honestly, this is my dream salad lol. I'd highly recommend you order this when you come here because I can't stop thinking about it... I know it's just a salad and it's a relatively simple salad when you think about it, but it's done so incredibly well here. Overall, I had a really great experience here and will be back soon!
