I was a little scared to come to this Tustin location of Baskin Robbins because of all the reviews. I felt compelled to give them a decent review since I had a perfectly nice experience there on Valentine's night (I'm easy). We were greeted with friendly hellos when we walked in, asked if we wanted samples, she made our order (capuccino blast and sundae), and did everything we wanted. She was pleasant the entire time, and was fast, too. It is a small location, kind of hard to find (right on corner of Main and Newport, across street from Souplantation), but they have plenty of parking in the back and like four tables. It's not new or modern, and it is a little run-down, but who cares when the ice cream is good and service was better than a lot of higher-end restaurants! read more

I had never purchased an ice cream cake previously so I called to get sizes & pricing. The guy who answered the phone, Fred, was SO rude and condescending. I politely asked him for the options and his response not even 1 minute into our conversation was "so you call here and want me to give you prices and you don't even know what you want?! Why don't you look on the website then call and ask questions" I had already looked at the website and all questions weren't answered which is why I called. I was very appalled by his reply especially being that he's in the field of customer service but he could clearly care less about customers let alone service in general! Just because of his reply and condescending attitude, I drove out of my way to go elsewhere and be treated right which is the way a customer should be treated! I will make sure to let ALL of my friends and family know to steer clear of this location because customer service is non-existent. I hope the business management team actually takes the time to review these comments and consider what staff they have representing their brand. read more

Went to Baskin-Robins for a quick ice cream fix originally for cookie dough ice cream and found out they had Stranger Things themed ice cream flavors: "Eleven's Heaven" and "Upside Down Pralines"! They were awesome! Becca and Chris were great and put me on my new favorite flavor, "Blueberry Muffin"! I made sure to take a container to go with me! I will definitely be coming back! read more

I have always had a pleasant experience at this location....but then again I usually just walk in, get my ice cream and leave. Yes the selection isn't as large as the other locations but the service is quick and the people are always nice. They don't give you a hard time for trying out the ice creams and are patient with your questions. I admit the location is a little run down but nothing too shabby. It's ice cream, if you want to go get some this is a great place. They also have a private parking lot which is always nice!! read more

I'm really annoyed with this place. I ordered a pie for an event (birthday) days in advance with very simple instructions for the customized message. Again, days in advance, I called in and asked if it was okay to show up later to pick it up--I ordered it online--and they said they would be fine. So I showed up a few hours after I was scheduled to pick it up with the person in question and NOTHING was done. No message or anything. The girl had no idea what to do apparently even though everything was written on the receipt that she had (which she seemed incapable of reading, though she did get the gist of the very short message?). The person was there with me so it totally ruined the surprise and nothing on it was right at all. The instructions were right there and they had had days to do it, I ordered it like a week ahead and the store wasn't busy when I showed up, they had plenty of time to do it and they didn't. I was really pissed off they ruined both a surprise and a gift for no reason (and again, it kills me that even though she had the printed instructions right there she seemed incapable of following them). I've had even small, cheap grocery stores manage to get this right, what's the deal with Baskin Robbins? It's certainly not like it was cheap for such a small (and quite frankly, mediocre) pie. I will not be going again and think one star is too much. read more

I was there this weekend and could not believe the way the older man, I'm assuming he's the owner, treated one of the girls working that evening. I was next in line and for some reason he yelled at his employee to not help me but to help the man that was behind me in line. I was so confused. He made her feel very uncomfortable, I could see the expression on her face change. He kept berating her for no real reason. I noticed that there's different teenagers that work here. His employees must come ago with that type of treatment. You shouldn't only care about your returning customers but for your employees as well. That poor girl was just trying to do her job and didn't deserve to be treated with such little respect. There's a way of getting your point across without putting your employees down. It's Sunday, 9:30pm and my friend and I were in the mood for some ice cream. We knew we couldn't make it to a Cold Stone in time. So I mentioned Baskin Robbins. I hadn't had Baskin Robbins in such a long time that I thought I would give it another go. He looked on his phone at Baskin Robbins website and saw this location was only a few miles from his place, and it was open until 10 p.m. We get in the car and head down. At first we couldn't find it. He was navigating while I was driving and I thought it was in the shopping center. After circling around, we didn't see it. I looked at his phone and noticed that the locator spot was outside of the shopping area. So we drive around. We finally see it on the corner, next to the 76 gas station. We made it with 10 minutes to spare. We park, walk in, and the first thing I noticed was the layout inside. There is a limited amount of space between the ice cream counter and a wall. I would hate to see how this looks when it's busy. Another thing I noticed was that the dinning area didn't seem clean. Maybe because it was so close to closing time that they felt they didn't need to keep the area clean. We get our ice cream, and walk outside to eat it. We didn't feel like sitting in the two chairs that were out there, so we just stood and ate it. Even though it's not my first choice for ice cream, but for a last minute ice cream craving, Baskin Robbins fulfilled that need. read more

We won't be returning to this store any time in the near future. This particular store disappoints time and time again. I promised the kids ice cream and sadly Thrifty was not selling ice cream today. That's when I remembered I had a birthday coupon for a free scoop at Baskin Robbins! Since it's just around the corner, we went there. They would not accept my free scoop coupon because I didn't have it printed out. Sounds like bull#%*+ to me! I'm pretty sure they just don't want to participate in the free birthday scoop offer. It also seemed strange that there were 3 girls working behind the counter and no other customers. Our 3 single scoops came out to over $10. We would have gotten better ice cream for about half the price from Thrifty. I got Quarterback Crunch and it was not he least bit crunchy. If Thrifty doesn't have ice cream, just go to Yogurtland! read more

My favorite ice cream has always been Baskin Robbins. The Tustin store is so friendly, and the prices here are better than the Irvine Culver location, which is a great benefit. I live in Irvine but prefer to give my business to the Tustin store. The owner is so kind. He regularly gives out Buy One Get One Free coupons at community events. You can tell by speaking with him that he really cares about his customers. read more

Terrible customer service, ordered a cake with a message and not only did they not put the message on there, they didn't leave any space for one to be added later. Went to pick up Mother's day cake and was surprised to see that they had jamoca almond flavor cake available. In fact they had all kinds of different flavor cake available unlike other Baskin Robbins, which requires advance order. Also, the owner had a good spirit which is probably why it's doing very well. read more

Stopped by today around 6pm or so with my husband and daughter and had the worst experience EVER!!!!! I've been to this location a few times in the past and it's been good but today was absolutely horrible. What appeared to be the manager or person in charge (older man) seemed to be in a terrible mood. He gave an attitude to the person in front of us for keeping her distance in line, asking her to move forward in line. When it was our turn he asked what we would like to order and didn't even give me five seconds to respond and walked away not saying anything and didn't even acknowledge us. He walked away and was bossing around his employees in such a rude way, that made me think I would not want to work for this guy EVER. He went on to ring up the person in front of us and it seems that transaction did not go through....and yet still no acknowledgement whatsoever. I'm a patient person and would've waited but he just went on and ignored us . The lady walked away to her car to bring another form of payment and we thought he was going to help us in the mean time or at least let us know he would be with us shortly but he instead very rudely said he couldn't help us until the other lady came back. Needless to say at this point we were fed up with his TERRIBLE attitude and HORRIBLE mood and vibe that we decided to leave. This experience made me not want to come back to this location again. read more
