I was excited to try the $6 banana split offer on Wed. I noticed that the employee scooped the ice cream from the case so easily. Usually when I scoop ice cream from my freezer, it's really hard and I have to use some force to scoop it. I don't think they keep the ice cream at zero degrees since it's already soft when they scoop it. The banana split looked nice with 3 scoops, 3 toppings, nuts, cherries and whipped cream. Well what else are you supposed to do on the first day of Christmas break? Get ice cream of course. The guys helping us were super nice and gave us generous scoops. What a shame for such a huge billion dollar corporation. They have no respect for themselves or their customers! I called corporate and they hung up on me because they can't admit to their own failure! Went to this location and pointed out a few things that were not right. There was rat droppings and dead roaches on the floor. When I brought it to the attention of the management they just ignored me. Their items were contaminated obviously, but they refused to serve items with sealed containers. So disgusting! I will never return. My friend from out of town was with me. This baskin robbins is good. When all the employees work and contribute. We went and there was a line. Because there were two workers. A female and male. The female was doing all the work while the male walked around and restocked stuff that didn't need to be restocked. He just didn't want to serve ice cream. I stopped for ice cream last night while I was delivering for Uber eats.. there was a guy and a gal on staff who were very resourceful and helpful.(I wanted an Oreo cookie conglomeration.. they obliged and it was wonderful) ... but then I left my wallet in the store.. they closed on time, so I didn't know till now, but they saved my wallet -which had my LIFE in it - both checking cards, only credit card, DL, SScard, passport.. and $10 in cash which was untouched.. Arrived 10 minutes before closing, open neon sign was on and the door was unlocked. Upon entry we were told they were closed. I pointed to the sign and asked then why is the open sign on, to which I was unprofessionally told "well it ain't no more", as the employee turned the sign off. This was on 19 Oct 2020, the employee was a young blonde haired male. If you plan on closing early, lock the door and turn the sign off. This Baskin Robbins was originally located on Blanco but they moved across the street in the Vineyard Shopping area next to Panera Bread. I went in here the other day and I had a pleasant experience. It was all girls working this shift but they were all friendly and looked excited to be working. You could tell they were still learning a few things but they worked fast and efficently. I look forward to coming here again. I took home a quart of Mint Chocolate Chip and a quart of Strawberry Cheesecake. I was in heaven! read more

This place gets 5 stars not just for the service I was given. While I was there, eating my ice cream cone, there was a family of three inside as well, (a grandma w/ her younger granddaughter and grandson.) Anywho, after they were given their ice cream, the grandson and grandmother went outside to eat their ice cream but the little girl who was about 9 stayed inside to watch one of the employees make waffle cones. There stood the little girl, practically behind the counter looking @ the freshly made waffle cones asking the employee all sorts of questions a 9 year old would ask about an ice cream shop. (I think the employees name was Addison or Maddison???? I'm not sure, she was blonde and had a very genuine smile, she was also the one making the waffle cones @ the time) But (M)Addison did not tell this girl not to be as close as she was behind the counter, she did not look annoyed or even tell the little girl she had to get back to work. Instead she interacted with her. "Should I start w/ the colored or chocolate sprinkles?" "What's your favorite kind of ice cream?" "Have you tried this ice cream? Here let me get you a sample!" "Watch, this is my favorite part!" She talked to the little girl the whole time while making the waffle cones and never once did she look annoyed as most people would. Went here the other night with my family, cause this is the new store on Blanco after the old location (the one next to wahkee moved to 410 and blanco). This store however new it may be, didn't quite compare to the service and atmosphere that we felt at the other Baskin Robbins. The employees didn't seem so happy, or had some annoying customer and it just carried with them the rest of the day. My kids wanted to sample flavors, and one of the girls just looked irritated. They also would stop working to talk and gossip, even when they had about 3 groups waiting to be served. Their Mint Choc Chip shake was more water than shake consistency; but that was pure negligence, they just kept turning on the blender. The scoops looked small, almost kid size when I ordered regular; I can only imagine what the kids scoop looks like. The only thing this place has that the old location didn't was outside seating. That was one of the main reasons I brought my kids here but will never again. We will drive those extra miles to go to the one on Blanco and 410, where my family can be treated with respect. read more
